Well now if your waitress smells like a hooker just walking past you and she is going to touch your plate you know your going to taste that cheap Walmart knock off crap. But if your allergic reaction kicks off to the point that you're fleeing to your car for an epi pen you know she bathed in that shit. Your next stop is a migraine and meds just to make sure you can breathe properly. Thank goodness we keep an emergency kit in our rigs. You know that perfumes and hand lotions are going to make your customers sick and pissed . Clearly we wanted to eat. We consistently and normally spend about $50-65 food and another $15-20 on a tip at your place . Won't be back until I can make sure my life isn't in danger. It's pretty sad considering the last time we were there the wait staff made sure there were no nuts ( more allergies) in the pad Thai and it was amazing. I was so looking forward to having another amazing meal there yesterday. This was one of the two places in our little Stanwood that I felt like I was not going to be hauling out my emergency kit. I know the fire department is only a minute away but really I was just needing food. No one wants to smell your perfume on their food. Let alone have an anaphylactic reaction . I have not been to a shopping mall or a movie in 30 years because I can't risk it. I thought I was safe here but apparently that is no longer the reality.

THE best Thai food in the North Sound.We popped by after a long ride and I wish I had stopped by sooner. This restaurant has amazing food and tons of gluten free options.My husband and I ordered five dishes between us because I couldn't decide what I wanted. Each dish was fresh and flavorful.It's not listed on the menu, but they have a selection of wines and beers.Extra bonus - tons of gluten free and vegetarian options!

We really wanted to love this place as it isn't a far drive from home and we love supporting local dining! I've traveled all over SE Asia and spent a long time in Thailand... this is very Americanized food.Our order and thoughts: Pad Thai x 2: harsh tamarind tasteThai Angel: the curry taste is insanely overwhelming. Was really looking forward to the coconut milk; however there was no trace and the whole dish was dry, the meat was overdone. Mongolian Beef: if you are used to a dark sauce and breaded beef this is far from it. Very bland- no sodium. Meat over cooked.Pad Woon Sen: so gross. No taste. Pork was unchewable. Egg rolls: they were great! Stingy with the dipping sauce though. We won't ever be going back.

There are a lot of Thai food options in Washington, and Stanwood Thai is a very nice one. The service is a bit informal but very friendly, the space is awkward but well-utilized, and the food is good.We have come many times before, and will definitely visit again!

I've always ordered online, never had an issues and even had my husband pick the order up for me. Recently, my friend offered to pick up for me because I had a baby. The worker at the front desk told her that some man had picked up our orders. She explained that we don't know that person, and that's why she's there to pick up. That worker did not offer a refund or to remake food. My friend had me on the phone to talk to the worker, and I had to explain that we literally don't know that man and I am the person who ordered online, and this is my number. That person was yelling at me, saying that they will remake the food but went on and on about how I should be the one to pick up the food next time and that they will make sure to double check people's identity to pick up the orders. No apologies at all. I mean, they should have double-checked the orders with confirmation orders in email as proof before handing them out a long time ago, and then this wouldn't be an issue. That was a worse customer service ever. They could have handled it differently. Regardless, I thanked them anyway for wanting to make sure this wouldn't happen again in the future.While my friend waited for the food, a man who took our orders came back like 40 minutes later to return them and let the worker know that they gave him the wrong order. It WAS the worker's fault for assuming our names were the same and for not double-checking it. FYI, our names were NOT the same. So the yelling was completely unnecessary, and she FINALLY apologized to my friend for her errors. I've been a loyal customer to their restaurant since they were opened, but ever since they changed owner and constantly changing staffs, it kind of went downhill from there. And now that recent experience my friend and I went through, we won't be going back there again.

I've only been there once, and I had the pho. The broth was not very flavorful and so it wasn't really a great experience. I never went back because there were so many other options in the food is really good at the other places. It's in the old Viking villagearea in the old bar. The service was good and like I said, the food did not impress me.

This is only the second review I have ever written and it absolutely needs to happen. Ordered a bowl of hot and sour soup to go. I'm not sure what they think they are passing this off as, but it was the single most disgusting bite of soup I have ever had in my entire life. Maybe they were trying to pass this off as egg drop soup, but if so, not what we ordered???? A mess of egg and bits of tofu, and sweeter than a vanilla cake???? Not one bit of this was hot and sour soup. I am disgusted that we paid for this. We will never go back.
