I recently visited Springfield Diner and had an amazing dining experience. The banana pancakes were out of this world, and the cannoli cake quickly became my favorite dessert. The tiramisu was also incredibly delicious. The service at Springfield Diner was top-notch, and the ambiance felt like an upscale diner, adding to the overall dining experience. I highly recommend trying the banana pancakes and indulging in the delightful desserts they offer. Springfield Diner truly exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be returning for more culinary delights.Plenty of free parking in lot. Kid friendly and plenty of dishes for vegetarian! This will be good to for brunch or late night snacks.

I went here recently and I was impressed! The food is still delicious as it was when I went here some time back (it wasn't any fault if their own just a reason I will hint just keep reading). This time we came by was to celebrate Christmas night. My family and friends wanted to have a special dinner and it was memorable with not much time to wait we were seated. This place has a lot of seating especially for 5+ diners needing a large table to share and they compensated us well. They have friendly staff aware and ready to help us with any way they can make our meals a pleasant time.I and my brother each had a steak. My dish came with a veggie and either fries or mashed potatoes. It was so tasty and didn't think anything could top it until I had a slice of chocolate cream pie. Mmm mmm mmm! It hit the spot.Come here for good food and if you have a problem with food with prices than previous the grub makes up for it! Also FYI if you come with about 4 or more a party there is a tip amount they strongly suggest. Again, seeing what Springfield Diner offers it is all still worth it!

amazing quick service, bacon was crispy but not burnt, they serve waffles all day a lot of places close up the waffle iron by 1pm. atmosphere was not to loud and much space to not feel crowded. if this place was open 24 hours this would be my favorite diner.

Decent diner. I've been here before for breakfast but never for dinner until recently. Like most diners , there is a large menu with a ton of options along with a nightly specials menu. There definitely seems to be a lot of repeat customers that are friendly with the hosts and servers. The booths in the front have a acrylic sheet to help separate the booths, which is a great idea but the ones surrounding our booth were loose because every movement caused them to vibrate. A little annoying. The meals we got both came with various choices and we both got a house salad. It was a basic salad with chunks of iceberg lettuce and for me a little messy to eat. I definitely left more than half of my salad uneaten. My other diner got the eggplant Parmesan. He was happy with it but the piece i tried had very soft eggplant inside which is not my favorite way to eat Parm. I got the pastichio special and it was really good. Very filling. My dinner came with dessert but I skipped it as I was full. They do accept credit cards to pay but they stress to leave tips in cash, although I think you can put it on card if you need to.

Randomly came by here to get their biscuits and gravy with home friesCan't believe I've driven by here for the last 5 years, Finally tried it.Fast service, smell nice in there. Great service and good food for the prices.It was busy, yet the staff attention to customers makes one feel like they're the only ones eating/being served. Great hostess, great meal and great owners. The diner was clean and noise level was nice for a Sunday morning.

A Springfield staple. The food is standard diner fare. The menu is a bit over the top. Several pages long... Leading to watered down quality of several items. The fried scallops came out basically raw in the center... Which would be fine if they were seared but out of a bag and into a frier scallops should not be raw in the center. I think they would benefit from doing less items but focusing on doing them really well. They have lots of seating but not enough staff to adequately serve all their tables. Our waitress was hustling but was struggling to keep up with her section. Many people at our table ordered diet Pepsi. I suggested she bring a pitcher to minimize the amount of refills she had to do but informed me that they did not have any pitchers in the diner... Talk about a missed opportunity to lighten the load on your staff. The food was A-OK outside of the raw scallops. The meal was quite long, over 2 hours from when I arrived, was told to wait until everyone from our party was present (table next to us didn't have to wait for their party though), we were seated, had our drink order taken, then delivered, then food order, then food delivered, then the check. Many people in my group prefer Springfield diner over Folcroft diner but it's just not feasible when we are under time restrictions.

We have been frequenting that place for years, always ordering the same thing. However, on the night we visited, the owner seemed to have decided to be rude. The waiter got our order wrong and tried to correct it by bringing what we originally asked for. Unfortunately, our chicken breast was cold, so I requested it to be warmed up. When it was returned, it was burnt. To make matters worse, the waiter charged us for the wrong item and not what we actually ordered. When we tried to discuss this with the manager to fix the bill, he became irritated. Despite my fiancé paying the bill, the owner continued arguing with him over the waiter's mistake. I've decided not to return there again. It's clear they don't value our patronage. I also noticed how the owner looks at customers, especially African Americans, when they come in. It's evident we're not welcome there.

We got the Greek Salad and the salad with salmon. The Greek salad was the best one we've had in a long time. The salmon was brought on a separate plate which was preferred, and it had a breadcrumb coating on top. It gave the salmon a crunchy top which added great texture. Will definitely go again!
