Spring Rolls

I came to this restaurant with my colleagues. Very good food and ambiance. Good service. I ordered poke bowl. Generous portion.

I hate reviewing this place after eating just one dish but who realistically eats every item on the menu unless you're a regular. But despite my misgivings here goes it.The poke bowl is nicely seasoned and the right amount. So glad they didn't prepare a humongous bowl with everything in it. The rice was nice. They didn't flavor it like chirashi but the natural juices from the fish and the seaweed salad made the rice taste just right. The tempura shrimp leaves a lot to be desired. It had a batter similar to orange chicken instead of the traditional tempura batter. It was crunchy but not light and airy as would a good tempura coat should have. So that dish is 3 stars.The soup does not taste like miso at all. More like watered down hot and sour soup. Also, too much onion flavor. So 1 star.Overall, 3 stars. I'm hoping the other dishes fare better. I will eat here again to sample the rest and give another update. Hopefully by then I can better assess if this is a place you should try out or not.

Best value regular prices with great specials. Diverse menu and convenient location when meeting between Raleigh and Cary or before/after events at NC State or the arena.

I live at an apartment complex within walking distance. I've dined in once and have ordered online here many times. The food is consistently good, I really like the orange chicken. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Just know this it's located across from PNC Arena and can get pretty crowded during games and events.

I love the interior and the Christmas decor. Our server Devin was patient, helpful, and a amiable person in general. I was very impressed that he actually asked my girlfriend and I our names! He also saw my girlfriend and I taking pictures and offered to take the photo for us! The food was good! I ordered the Orange Chicken and my girlfriend ordered the General Tao Chicken. We tried each other's food and they were both really good. The chicken for both dishes were very tender and flavorful. My girlfriend said "This place is wonderful. Five stars!". My lady has spoken! Also, the bathrooms were really clean too!

Food: terrific. Service: awful.It's weird. When the place is busy, they get the food out to you quickly. When the place is empty, you won't get your food for hours. It doesn't make sense. The staff seems to be in their own world half the time. I will say though, the Vegas roll is one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. The sesame chicken is pretty dang good as well.

The biggest issue was that the house Pad Thai gave me food poisoning!! And it tasted terrible to boot. Overall, a terribly managed restaurant. The waiters were completely disorganized and unprofessional. We had to constantly bug the front just to get a waiter to even come to our table to take our orders after being seated for 30 minutes. Food took another hour to come out and it was just 2 simple dishes. The sushi roll had way too much wasabi inside of it and burned my wife's nostrils. And as stated above, my terrible tasting Pad Thai gave me 24-48 hours of feverish food poisoning. Avoid this restaurant!

We recently had the worst dining experience of our lives at this restaurant. From the moment we sat down, everything went downhill. We never had a consistent waiter, and getting any sort of service was a challenge. It took 35 minutes just to get water, and we had to constantly wave down staff for every single request. Our drinks sat at the bar for another 30 minutes until someone in our party finally got up to grab them. By then, they were lukewarm and watered down, and the hostess didn't even offer to remake them. When our food finally came, after more than an hour, it was rushed out in a chaotic and disjointed manner.The restaurant wasn't that busy, so there was no excuse for this poor service. In fact, a couple nearby saw what was happening to us (and another table) and decided to cancel their food order and leave. To top it off, there was no making amends, no offer of a discount, and we were surprised to find an 18% gratuity added to our bill. This was for a party of just six -- hardly an extraordinary number of guests. Overall, a deeply disappointing experience. I don't normally leave reviews and I truly don't want to ruin someone's establishment. But I also felt strongly that considering they never even offered to help make it right and had the audacity to tack on a mandatory gratuity after their service they need feedback so they can figure out their server/hostess culture problem. I hope not that this tragically hurts them but hurts them in a kind way where they can have some honest feedback and do the necessary things to grow and make sure this doesn't happen again.Worth noting the atmosphere is nice and the food was good. It was just hands down one of the worst (if not the worst) service experiences we've ever had and I assure you we're really not that picky normally..

I've gone 3 times and the wait time for food each time is very long. Last time they sat us at a table with a wasps nest and we told them and they did nothing about it. My food took 50 mins and the waiter is so frustrated and tells me there's 1 person cooking, which I'm not aware of because there's no communication. And each time I ask about my food there's no communication until I ask the 3rd time. One guy says he will comp one of my entrees then another person comes by and says "he can't do that he's not a supervisor", which how am I supposed to know that? My sushi also was supposed to be buy one get one half off but at that point I don't even address the incorrect pricing and still end up paying for my entree that was told would be comped but then then not comped. I understand it was busy but there's no reason to sit me right away if they can't meet the demand. The management needs to reassess how they run their service. I already gave them 3 chances. Not going back again.

Amazing food! Outstanding service and vibes. Eddie is an outstanding host and Susan is a master chef. Food is incredibly good; portions are generous so be prepared to take some home. Highly recommend!!
