Spicy Masala Kitchen

I ordered from here via UberEats and the food was crap... no taste at all but spicy. Also, it tasted like it was spoiled food. I tried my best to eat it. The samosas were ok, and the meat was seasoned well, but the dough was oily. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Got carry out from this place and it was very, very disappointing. We had butter chicken, saag paneer, and gobi manchurian. The butter chicken was by far the most bland I have ever had. It had none of the signature sweetness, none of the mild tomato flavor, really no flavor at all--just creaminess. The cauliflower was both bland and had terrible texture. It was totally mushy, which defeats the purpose of the whole dish. The saag paneer was the highlight by far. Which is to say it was standard. It was nothing special at all, but it wasn't terribly disappointing. Could've used a little shredded ginger as a garnish. I'm hoping they just had a bad night, but that experience would make me hesitant to try this place again.

I wanted Indian food so bad but the place I usually order from wasn't offering delivery tonight. Found this spot on Ubereats and read the reviews, decided to give it a try. I hate it so bad. I decided to just order chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and mozzarella sticks just in case I don't like the food. The best thing was naan, I'm so hungry and so disappointed. Not to mention the portion sizes were not great as people prev. mentioned.

It bums me out to see bad reviews for this place. It's close enough to walk to and i always get great service. The food is delicious and has great portion sizes. Definitely try!

This place is amazing my new favorite Indian restaurant in Philly . everyone I taken there as loved it. The goat and lamb is so tender and juicy chicken season perfectly and their curries are really really really flavorful and got that heat. Absolutely get the mango lassi. It was fantastic. Been here a few times now I think one of my faves is the lamb vindaloo and goat Curry be sure to get the garlic naan. It's pretty impressive. The staff is absolutely friendly and very helpful. They always offer more rice. If you need, it had lunch with a coworker of mine who's never had Indian before she loved it and now claims to go twice a week, highly recommend Spicy Masala Kitchen they are fantastic. The food is incredible. Only thing they could figure out is parking but it's north Philly so... it's a smalll Place ambience is more or less takeout with a small area to eat but again the staff is very friendly and accommodating. My go to whenever I'm in Philly.

I'm in delight! Been waiting for spicy masala kitchen to open and the time has come; not only that, it's DELICIOUS! We dined in and we're served promptly with genuine smiles. It's a small restaurant, but if you're looking for a casual filling meal, this is an easy place to go to. Everything was very tasteful; plan on grabbing some takeout soon!

Would eat here every day. Big fan of the veggie samosas and various kormas. Service is good too! A staple for the Fairmount community

We arrived after 10pm and unfortunately they dont do dine in after 10. So we decided to order to go. I have lamb tikka masala, combo biryani rice, butter chicken, wings and kheer. The food is so delicious!!! The best indian food i ever had in my life. The staffs are very friendly. 100/10!!! Delicious!! Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Nice little corner spot by ridge ave in the fairmount area. Prices are reasonable and dishes were prepared accordingly. They are open late as well.Will come back next time I am in the area

The raita was very disappointing this time. It's supposed to be yogurt, cucumber, etc and tonight it was watered down and had a few carrot slivers and that was itNot worth ordering tonight. I've ordered many times before so tonight was disappointing
