Spectators Bar & Grill

Occasion: we were on a neighborhood drive and decided to give Spectators B&G a go for a pint and a snack.Food: the menu selections are normal bar fare of wings, burgers, fries, appetizers. Prices are very up-market for a neighborhood bar. I ordered the wings and was pleased with their flavor and would order them again. Drinks: I ordered a Guinness and found it perfectly drawn and fresh. My companion ordered the $5 happy hour margarita and was totally underwhelmed. I tasted it and thought it was a very poor excuse for a margarita that tasted like nothing but redimix without a hint of tequila. She sent it back and had a cranberry and Vodka. The drink prices are reasonable and competitive. Ambiance: Spectators is a clean stark minimalist venue with no atmosphere, for lack of any other description it's "soulless". But, it's got many wide screen TVs and it's likely to be my first or second choice to meet up with friends, watch sports and have a couple of pints. This isn't a venue for a romantic date night. Service: our server was attentive but distracted resulting in unacceptably slow drinks service. The food service was, on the other hand, quick. Absolutely no complaints. Overall: Spectators has a lot of promise and I'll likely drop in for another pint when I'm in the neighborhood. That said, unless it gets some soul or attracts an interesting clientele it's unlikely to be a regular destination.

Absolutely Delicious!! My husband had the Grilled chicken sandwich and I had the Cobb Salad. Both were fresh and Delicious. Great outdoor patio. Our server, Dominique did a Fabulous job. We'll Definitely be back!!

Great food amazing service and by far the best patio to hang out at. Ask about their speakeasy menu. Best burger in Sugarland.

Can I give it a "10"? Good food, great service! We had one server but others came to check on us too. The manager came over and welcomed us and thanked us for coming. The food was hot and fresh for our party of 4. It was busy - opening day Astros on 99% of the TVs. Look forward to coming back soon.

Great local neighborhood bar! Food is good and the staff is very friendly. Lots of TVs and indoor and outdoor seating!

Could you ask more of a bar and grill... I guess, but it doesn't exist. Firstly, I'm not a big sports guy but if you are, you're gonna love this place. Without even rotating my neck, I can see six games playing. I was ecstatic when I saw the menu, it's not overly done. It basically has all time favorites but everything is beautiful from a burger to a ribeye, as well as specialties. Prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of food served. I met the owner while I was here and he seems like an amazing dude. A true restauranteur, and it shows. Service was impeccable. As far as I'm concerned, there's no competition in the area, not even close.

Food and ambiance excellent. Lots of TVs available, huge patio and great drinks. Plenty of parking.

A bar in Riverstone?! Amazing!!I've been to the original location off Highway 6 and 59 so I was thrilled to see this one pop up! We went on a Sunday around 8 and I was surprised to see it pretty crowded. Despite the number of people, our sever Kasey was super attentive and so friendly, offering us suggestions when we asked and visiting the table often. We went with the pretzel sticks and wings and both were great. I prefer flats so I didn't love that majority of the wings were drums but both flavors (medium and garlic parm) were really good. Menu options are fairly limited but include the normal bar fare.Space is pretty ample, they have a nice patio and there are a ton of TVs so I'm looking forward to watching some Astros games here this season!

we were passing by on wed., about 4 pm, and decided to stop and have a drink. it was too windy to sit on the patio, so we sat inside, right in front of the bar, next to another occupied table. those 2 ladies were enjoying their chicken and burger sandwiches.at the bar were seated a couple, a single guy, and another single guy further down. there were 2 waiters, a man and woman. also a male mgr.the male waiter comes and asks for our drink orders. he orders a guinness and i order the margarita special. the beer comes almost immediately. i'm watching as the 2 female bartenders are chatting up the couple and the single guy. 7 minutes pass. the male waiter and mgr are chatting by the door to the kitchen. i make the signal, waving my hand, eyeing the mgr. he exits to the kitchen and the waiter comes over. i say, what are they (bartenders) doing, and where is my drink? he goes over and talks to them, one makes my drink, and he brings it over. i taste it - it's 100% margarita mix, no alcohol. i call him back, tell him it's disgusting and why. he says, "want another?" i say no, how about a tito's/cranberry, which she can't mess up. so he brings the drink back, speaks to them, and they are still socializing with the people at the bar. i wave him over again, saying "where's my drink?" finally, they make my drink. i am simply appalled by this treatment. i will never go back, and now we know why this huge bar is empty, approaching happy hour.

We love the Sugar Land location, so we are happy about the Riverstone location being a little closer to home. We love the open atmosphere with plenty of tables and tvs. Nice large patio, too! Great service. Can't leave without getting Wally's egg rolls,But we've enjoyed everything we've tried. Really hoping this location is equally successful, we will be back!
