Space City Liquor

Methinks Daniel was a bit harsh on this place. While I do enjoy Specs and it has way more to offer at lower prices, I also like to support the little guy, non-big-box stores. And this one has a pretty dang good bourbon selection at reasonable (for being locally owned) prices. No, the dude working the front clearly wasn't a bourbon head and couldn't talk bourbon with me, but I wouldn't give him 1 star for it.This place has more than just Jack and Evan Williams, and they have really very decent prices on some solid, varied stuff, including Michters and Yellow Rose, plus plenty of local hits like TX and Rebecca Creek (not my jam). For a bourbon or whiskey head who likes to support local business, this place is just fine. Easy 4 stars. If the dude could talk bourbon and add just a little more and add a few more bottles to his American whiskey line-up, he'd hit 5 stars from me. (I did not evaluate anything but American whiskey selection.)

This place is under new management! The store is very bright and clean and has a much larger selection than the previous owner. They always let me know that if they don't have have what I am looking for they can order it.

Liquor? But I barely know her!Actually I do know her. Lousy ignorasaurus employees. Extremely high prices when compared to Specs. Dirty, dusty, ew. This place is the suburban equivalent of Cadillac Liquor inside the loop as compared to the Spec's on Smith. Skip this one and keep on truckin' for your liquor needs to one of the many other Specs nearby (or drive into town for the Warehouse on Smith - it will change your life once you enter the worlds' most boozey adult candy store!)

Nice small store. Has what I need. Prices are fine, not super cheap, but in line with other places. The guy is really nice. I go here because it is close and convenient.

Mr B is for the community, he understands his customers, very helpful, his prices are great and I love supporting his store.

Mister B is one of the kindest, most enjoyable humans on planet earth. What a treat to have his store so accessible! Anything you want that he doesn't have-he'll special order. He goes far above and beyond a normal liquor store owner. The selection is amazing and the coupons and pricing are very competitive. I love a local store vs big box store.

This place doesn't get much food traffic post-Randalls and it's a real shame! The owner is so friendly and offers excellent customer service. He carries things we often can't find at Spec's and Total Wine. I almost hate sharing this because I don't want to give away my secret, but I'd hate for it to go out of business! Go check it out!

Space City Liquor is under new management and it is wonderful! I was welcomed as I walked in and it was by a very friendly gentleman. I went in looking for a particular item. They did not have it in stock but they took my name and number and will call when it is in. LOVE this customer service. Also, they have expanded and the store is much bigger and brighter. Prices were on target with the bigger liquor stores in the area. I look forward to this being my new neighborhood liquor store!
