So this is there new location. The original spot on Osage Avenue has closed & they've since moved into the bigger location on Woodland Ave. When I went they were unfortunately out of beef so I had to settle for the chicken cheesesteak. Not as good as beef but it wasn't a bad sandwich- had a good blend of chicken & fresh mixed peppers. My man Abdul Shareef hooked it up . The cheese fries were delicious.

Excellent place! Came from Baltimore to try some Philly cheese steaks. We called ahead, and the folks were so incredibly nice, helping us with how to order, what is typical to order. And the cheese steaks are halal! (All the food is!) I would recommend everyone come by and try their food! Worthwhile the drive to it!

I ate at Southside Zabihah 4-5 times now. Mostly because there isn't that many halal soul food option near me. One of the big reason I am giving this location 3 star due to my overall experience. I would say the food is good. Not amazing, just good. Food 4/5Location has plenty of free street parking. Inside the restaurant is pretty big. They have a dine in section. Often you will have old heads or local people just sitting and talking NBA. It's pretty cool. However, it's very dimly lit area. Not the cleanest place inside. It could be better. One of the biggest issue I had with the location is the owner/stuff isn't every welcoming and kinda rude sometimes. For a Muslim own business, they should be better. Also for the location and service it's a bit pricy.

Had a pretty good order for delivery.The jerk chicken was good, the jerk seasoning on the rice was really good.Really enjoyed the yams and green beans, and my girlfriend enjoyed her fish platter.Would order again.

Quiet possibly the best kept secret in West Philly. When I became a pescatarian I thought I'd never eat anything else that came close to the delicious taste of a cheese steak, but I was wrong. The salmon cheesesteak here is next level. The bread is always delicious, although you never know if you're going to get wheat or white bread. There is also a special sauce that they add in that really sets the whole sandwich off to another level. I can also vouch for the Mac and cheese. It's super cheesy and very well done. There's also always a bit of a crispy layer of cheese on top which is a sure fire sign that you're getting authentic baked Mac and cheese. I honestly can't vouch for anything else on the menu because I've ordered from here about ten times and I only get the salmon-cheesesteak and Mac and cheese. But if those dishes are any indication of the rest of the menu, then you won't be disappointed. Enjoy!

I don't do many post on Yelp but I wanted to put up a review hoping that the proprietors will see. I ordered the bbq chicken via Ubereats and it was BOMB! I wanted the portions to be more but the chicken was fork tender to the bone. Bbq sauce was just right, not too thick. The potato salad was definitely homemade. Tuna mac was good. The portions of my side were way more than enough. Thank you for the side of rice too that will be for tomorrow's dinner. Keep continuing to do amazing cooking and great service. I'll be ordering again real soon.Ps... I got to mention the cabbage. Once I hit it with hot sauce, oh it was on!

One of my rules of thumb is that the "crappier" a place looks from the outside/inside, the better the food tastes, since the business invests their money on ingredients instead of decor. This was DEFINITELY the case here. Not too fancy from the outside or inside, but hands down the best Philly cheesesteak you could ever eat. Also, it is priced very fairly too. Good bang for your buck too considering the price and quantity of the food.10/10....100% recommend!!

Order could have easily been 5 stars but i ordered 6 colossal shrimp this is what i got such a letdown. So much for simply calling and letting me know that you didn't have any. I would have definitely changed my order. This platter is NOT worth $15.00 i feel robbed!

Took an Uber all the way down here from the masjid only to find out it was close and/or out of business. Number didn't work either (out of service). Disappointing.
