Great patio with seating under a big tree

The patio was built around this tree so I'm sure it's been there a long time and has lots of stories it could share.

Good beer, but the counter-only service could be improved. We went out prepared to stay for a few rounds, but leaving the table to go stand in a long line among other people's tables wasn't ideal. The outdoor seating is nice, but it would be better if they employed servers.

Southern Pines Brewing (the taproom, not the brewery that's in an industrial area) in the downtown area was our first stop in a daylong Moore County brew hop. And what a good one to start with! We arrived on a Sunday not long after it opened so it was not busy. The two bartenders inside were friendly and helpful. They had a much larger beer selection than I expected. Fortunately the screen has the beers broken up into types. I decided on a flight so I could sample a few. It was then my friend pointed out the BEER SLUSHIES. Oh my goodness... I could get into trouble with those as they're sweet, icy and refreshing. I finished them off quickly! There was a lemon flavor and a blueberry ginger. So good! I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

Wonderful way to sample your way through their tasty selections, I recommend doing a few "flights" before you zone in for your main delectable libation! Bring your snacks or takeouts (encouraged) and enjoy the evening under the trees on their comfy outdoor seating. Can't wait for another trip to North Carolina and stop by for some more delicious brews.

The name sake brewery of Southern Pines! It has a big parking lot so there is plenty of parking and usually a food truck outside so you can get something to munch on afterwards.I ended up getting a flight of bartenders' choice and ended up getting the Dead Man Suit & Thai, Delightful Devil, Full Throttle, and their classic Man of Law. The Suit & Thai is a dark stout that is spicy (Thai chili spicy ) that is smooth and bold. It has a low level heat that lingers if you are into that. The Delightful Devil is also very smooth with a slight velvety texture that will lure you in. It's a Belgian Tripel so you know that it's a easy one to down. The Full Throttle is light tasting as if you were to travel at the speed of light. It's enjoyable and even easier to down that is very comprable to the Delightful Devil. Definitely worth having!Lastly, their most prized beer is the Man of Law. This is even a smoother beer compared to Delightful Devil and Full Throttle. This trio makes for an extremely delightful flight. It's an American IPA and is just what I would envision--something assertive and free! Overall, great local brewery with exceptional brews. Keep on keeping on!!

The beer was ok, there was no information on the brews, my husband and I each did a flight but it was hard to choose which ones I wanted to try without tasting notes. They serve very limited food and they were out of what they did have. Not bad but not impressed.

I travel to Southern Pines for work often, and visit the Southern Pines Brewing taprooms frequently. I've always had good experiences and love their beer, but this time I had an especially wonderful experience! The new Oktoberfest is fantastic (I had 3!), and the service was even better than usual. Emily is wonderful, attentive, knowledgeable, knows all of the regulars by name, and has a very positive attitude. I was there during shift change on Monday, August 30th, and both bartenders I interacted with were great, but I didn't catch the name of the first bartender. As a fellow beer industry person, I truly appreciate good service, and meeting great people. I can't emphasize enough how much I love this brewery, and appreciate the wonderful people who work here. Highly recommend!!

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, and there was a pretty good crowd in the taproom. There were younger folks, older folks and even people with kids. Seems to be a popular local hangout place. The taproom is cozy and not that big. I like the look of the bar and shelf that they have. They have about 10 varieties of beer on tap, and offer tasting pours, pints, and growlers. The also sell four or six-packs for some of the varieties. Since it's my first time there, I had to get the tasting flight. Their flagship flight is $8 and features the Duck Hook Cream Ale, Man of Law IPA, Malty by Nature Scottish Export Ale, and the seasonal Grapefruit Hefe Hefeweizen. Out of the four, I liked the cream ale the best as it was nice and refreshing. The IPA is not super hoppy and bitter, which to me is a good thing. The other two were alright.

This is the very first restaurant review I have ever written but I felt compelled to write it. We had a party of 8 for dinner at the newly opened Buggy Factory. Unfortunately, our dining experience was disappointing. Everyone in the group ordered something different. Only one of us said they enjoyed their dish, which was the pepperoni pizza. The kitchen apparently was unable to prepare more than a couple of dishes at a time, as our meals trickled out separately 5 minutes or more apart. It wasn't until we figured out our meals would not be served all together that we realized one couple never received their entree and a second drink order never arrived. We asked for the manager as we were finishing. We told her one meal and a drink order had never arrived. She offered to get the meal and drink, but everyone was ready to go. So the pizza order was canceled and a couple in our group left only having had salad to eat for dinner. She apologized and gave us four chocolate chip cookies. To add insult to injury, the cookies were stale. As for the food, most of our dishes looked appetizing but lacked any real flavor. Somehow the ingredients were all there but didn't gel into a tasteful dish. Having had unappetizing meals and poor service, we then were handed our bills. There was a mandatory 20% gratuity with a request on the bill to tip more if we so desired. Our service was anything but acceptable and yet we were obligated to the mandatory 20% gratuity, and then nudged into giving more "to support our team" as printed on the bill. We wish them luck in the future but needless to say we will not be returning in the near future.

We really enjoyed our visit to Southern Pines Brewing Company. The beer was excellent. Service was spot on. We sat outside and the setting was great. We'll be back!
