Southern Pines Brewing Company on Pennsylvania

I love the golf country atmosphere at this craft brewery. You can come here after a round on the course or you can come hang out after a day's travels. I came after buying some local peaches. The ladies at the counter happily recommended beers for me and my dad. The Old Betsy lager is a dark beer but is a great drink. My dad likes Mexican style so the Carolina Clara was his pick. That one was good too.We will happily come back or visit the other taproom nearby.

Great service. The bartender was very friendly and welcomed me immediately as soon as I walked in the door. Broad selection of draft beer, and free tastings as well. Very chill vibe!

This is a new location and is walking distance from downtown. It's a great place with beautiful outdoor seating. As you'll see from the photos, there are plenty of heaters to keep you toasty. We were there the weekend it snowed, and we were able to sit outside for a beer without a problem. The beer is good, too.

What a cute brewery!!! They have beer and ciders. They also have A beer selection in cans in the back area you can buy to take home. They also have games (i.e. like checkers) to play at the tables. The food is limited to packaged snacks. Lots of good places to eat nearby. So hit this brewery up then stroll town and you will find good eats. I will be back when I visit NC again.

I travel around and try local breweries. This was one of 12 I hit in this part of NC and it was by far my favorite. Tried 8 different beers and couldn't complain about any. The location and outdoor seating was amazing. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Knowledgeable bartender and good range of glassware. I order led the NAV, a good light lager and my husband had the Man of Law - a SoPi staple. Ample seating and chill music in the background. Short walk from all the restaurants. Recommend grabbing a beer here. Oh, almost forgot - their merch is all well branded and fun.

Stopped in today (Monday) as I normally do for $2 off IPA day on Pennsylvania. I have supported this brewery ever since they opened. Today, like last Monday I ordered and enjoyed two Dance of the Absurd IPA drafts. Last week I was charged $4 each as the electronic menu board listed the price as $6. Today Regan (bartender not in the best of moods) decided to charge me $6 per draft because she said the menu board was incorrect and it should have been $8 per draft? I asked her to honor the $4 price and then change the menu board but she did not budge and charged me $6 per draft. Not sure that I will be back anytime soon as there are many other options within walking distance. Next time you are looking for a Dance of the Absurd stop in at the Harris Teeter in Pinehurst. Somehow they are able to sell the same 16 ounce draft $3 cheaper than Southern Pines Brewery is able to in their OWN taproom! This makes no sense to me. $5 Dance of the Absurd at HT!!

Sitting outside on a rare summer day with low humidity and enjoying several beers, what more can you ask for in NC? The Duck Hook lager and SoPi Original Helles were especially tasty!!!

This place was great! I loved how comfortable the outside seating area was and how clean it was. The staff was very helpful on explaining to me the differences in the cider choices so I was able to choose one I knew I would like! Their IPAs are amazing as well. Will definitely be visiting again!!

I used to think the staff was friendly. They have undergone major changes in staff. In all departments.Staff seem to be more worried about checking phones than serving customers. I could continue about management, and owner.However, I won't be visiting any of their locations anymore.
