Southern Maid Donuts

Good doughnuts and kolaches but the ownership is horrible , it's like they don't like money there haha, they will run out of kolaches by 9am sometimes , they refuse to make their best seller the mini kolaches with jalapeño lol and if u show up at 9am sometimes u only get to have donut holes , the owner is too cheap to make more, he is prolly has a big fear of having leftovers , so he just doesn't make enough for the day on purpose and so many people walk in and walk out empty handed...Lmao came back today and I walk and I didn't see doughnut holes so I ask "can I get doughnut holes please" and keep in mind it's only 9:30am , she answers back "what we got here is what we got" and I walk out empty handed again this place is useless lol a doughnut place that runs out of doughnuts and kolaches by 9am lmao and only thing is left is the stuff people don't like.

I've been here time and time again trying to give them another chance bc it's so close to my house, but i am done. Everything has either been mediocre or just bad. Last time we came for what was called their "biscuit", it was basically a dry hamburger. horrible.

I love Southern Maid donuts. Always have since I tasted them. Their donuts are great, however if you plan to go there later 7:00am on the weekend there is nothing left but some scrubs. I was there at 8:00am, I mean who wakes up earlier on Saturday. They didn't even have a single glazed donut.Their donuts are good, but you can never find what you want. For me it is not worth goi g there if I cannot even get a glazed donut.

I've been eating at southern maid for the past 20 years and they never fail to disappoint. Cheap prices, excellent tasting kolaches and perfect donuts.

I do know that the southern maid donuts off Kirkwood and w. Airport is amazing, delicious and the Vietnamese family that own it are super sweet and have been there for years! Haven't tried this location but I'm waiting till 6 am when they open so I can finally try them out, I'm excited and I'm pretty sure it'll be close to it , if not the same as the Kirkwood location!!

I have been coming here for over 10 years. The same owners continue to provide great breakfast items that in my opinion are way batter than any other donut spot around. I love this place, would pick it over Shipleys any day.

Literally had no selection of Donuts. As soon as I walked through the door she said this all I have. They need work on their customer service. It felt so empty and old in there. Not even as a last resort for donuts.

It's a small mom and pop store, that serves great breakfast! It provides a quick and easy grab and go options. The service is amazing . Has great breakfast kolaches, sandwiches, croissants. Great donuts! Many drink options and great Togo coffee. It's simple breakfast spot . Not too expensive!

Their store hours are from 6am -12pm and they are never open !!!!! I came here 3 days in a row and called they answered the phone yesterday and still wasn't open when I got there. they need to fix they hours or close it down all together this is ridiculous!!

Best donuts and kolaches in the neighborhood. The place is always clean and everything is freshly made. My little brother has to get something from there every morning even when he had breakfast at home. The owner is friendly and ready to serve you.
