We were looking forward to Mother's Day Brunch, and although the aspects of Sorriso that are my favorite still shone, we were a little disappointed with the overall experience.First, the positives... I love coming back for this restaurant's aesthetic, which is simply gorgeous. It's clean, so stylish, boasting the very best lighting fixtures with floor-to-ceiling windows that allow you to take in the Waterway views. A+!While the service was very friendly, (I do love the hostess staff here,) I waited a while before seeing our server. Only when I noticed other patrons getting their own coffee did I realize I could do the same and did just that. But when our server did begin attending to us, she was spot-on spectacular. She was busy but never relayed anything but calm coolness! The biggest disappointment was the food. I wanted to see butter near the bread offerings and didn't... many of the dishes (including the mashed potatoes, and meat at the carving station,) were under seasoned. But we were most let down by the dish I was most looking forward to trying: the pasta prepared table side in the cheese wheel. It was very bland! And we were surprised to see that the server assigned to this task was using zero salt and pepper She was simply serving pasta and cheese... that's it.i appreciated that the shrimp and crab claws were served with a remoulade option, which was a highlight. The pancakes were delicious, as well.
