Different Cheesesteak #1154. Guest eater Dave picked up this cheesesteak. Sorry no sign selfies but you can hear me in the video. We got his order, fried onions, tomato and lettuce. He liked the vibe inside Soprano's. The cheesesteak was pretty standard. If all your friends want to go out for Italian and you really want a cheesesteak, Soprano's could be your place.

If the margherita pizza were dumpstered, everything about it would make sense. But no, this baby cost $20 bucks for a medium. And it was swimming with...wait for it...sesame seeds?! The mozzarella was cooked to a crisp. RIP to the Basil. The crust was too tough to cry.

You would think that this is the most delicious Italian food to come out of Broomall based off the pictures, but I was sadly mistaken. The food wasn't kept in a heated container, so by the time they got to us, everything was ice cold. I tried to reheat my pasta dish and my daughter's pasta dish in the oven and the best we could do was bring the pasta to room temperature before it started turning crunchy. We both wish we had more sauce to keep our pasta from getting crunchy on reheating. There was nothing special about my linguine and clams in white sauce (my pasta was dry before it was delivered and tasted tinny like the clams came out of a can) and my daughter's tortellini and Bolognese sauce (again, soaked in to the pasta and dried out before delivery was made.) The meal was largely inedible other than the huge chunks of Italian Bread that was provided. They were clearly yesterday's bread ends (we received 4 slightly stale bread ends instead of a full cut loaf), but it worked with some at home olive oil and herbs for flavoring. We won't ever be ordering from here again for either eat in or take out.

With a name like Soprano's and me being Sicilian I thought this would be a match made in heaven. It was ok. Got a couple different sandwiches. They were good to very good. The meat wasn't sliced to order. That's the biggest thing for me. The place inside is crowded and cluttered. I asked the owner where they got their bread from and he refused to tell me. Except it's made special for him in a South Philadelphia. Wow usually that something they want you to know. Just a strange experience. Can't say im dying for a return visit.

HOT ROAST PORK!!!Did not realize Soprano's made a hot roast pork sandwich until we heard Glen Macnow gushing about it during a Phillies' game. What? HRP closer to us than our stand-bys in Media and Collegeville? We tried going on Sunday, but they were closed. So Monday night, it was HRP from Soprano's for dinner!Hot Roast Pork with Rabe - Really good. Seeded roll, juicy meat, deliciously-seasoned rabe, and quality shap prov. I thought it was markedly better than my last trip to DiNic's, and my Philly-lifer tongue was happy. Hubs thought the roll was the wrong choice, and thought the meat could have been better. He still liked it, but he is a tough judge working downtown, close to DiNic's all the time. All in all it was a solid 4-star sandwich, which is excellent when compared to all of greater Philly, and the best we've ever had. Macnow was not lying.Conveniently located on route 3 (where Media Line Road hits it), Soprano's is a go-to for Ital-food for many people around here. They do most everything well, have an extensive menu (40 entrees), plus prepared foods. They cater too (they co-catered our wedding many years ago). Their food is always top-quality, and they passionately care about doing a good job. They have authentic Italian desserts as well, including those ice cream ball things (meaning, not just cannolis and pizzelles).

The sandwiches at Sopranos are great. Fresh ingredients and good construction. makes for a great product. The people inside are very nice as well. Whenever I go there for lunch, it's nice to strike up a conversation with the people behind the counter. They also have a nice little spot to sit out outside. Give it a shot. It's worth it.

I have never had a margarita pizza with no tomatoes , burnt basil and with sesame seeds???? It also was burnt! The Italian calzone has 1 slice of ham, pepperoni and so sort of Spicy meat. A TON of sharp provolone cheese, which over powered everything almost, except the burnt half of the calzone. So disappointing for $34.00. When I questioned the pizza I was informed margarita pizza does not come with sliced tomatoes. What really gets me is you see my food was burnt and you still served it to me! Where is the quality control before you allow your customers to be served such disappointing food?

I had my lunch break so I thought I'd stop by and get a little taste of italy. When you walk inside you feel like you are in Italy, with the music, decorations, and food options. I wanted to try a few different options so I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich with mozzarella and balsamic, pasta fagioli, and arancini. The sandwich was pilled with chicken but had only two tiny pieces of mozzarella on each side. You really just tasted the chicken and some of the balsamic. The pasta fagioli was tasty and the rice ball was nothing special. Overall, I would definitely stop here if you want a quick lunch that can you can get a little bit of everything.
