The Soopreme is supposed to be doubled fried with w types of sauce... it was barely even coated. It was literally a small drizzle.

Soo Cafe comes to Wake Forest! Have been to the Raleigh location many times, so it's nice to have this spot closer to home. The same high quality, the same taste, even better service. Korean Fried Chicken, with SOGA (soy sauce and garlic) is the way to go. I prefer the boneless dark meat so I don't have to fight with the bones in the wings, but any way you like it, the chicken is the bomb. The coating is super crunchy, the meat is tender and moist and the sauce is phenomenal. Pro tip - save some white rice to mix in with the leftover SOGA. YUM! Also tried bulgogi and bulgogi bibimbap. Both dishes can be prepared to a desired spice level. Bulgogi is thinly sliced and wonderfully marinated (I chose beef) and then stir fried with veggies. It's sweet and savory. Bibimbap is a rice bowl; stir fried veggies, a protein (again I chose beef) served over rice with gochujang. It's spicy but delicious. Welcome to Wake Forest, Soo. I know I'll be back!

Ordered the hotdog, kimbap, and wings. I have to say, I have been looking for a good korean place down here for a while and was hoping this was the place. Sadly, I just don't feel the price matches the quality of the food. The kimbap was alright, but it is something that would be much cheaper to make at home. Also, the rolls fell apart within the same day of ordering them. The hot dog was fine, but it would be so much cheaper to make it at home. The wings were the highlight, the pricing was reasonable and they were fried well. Overall, even the wings wouldn't compel me to come back. The search for a good Korean spot continues.

My vegetarian bibimbap was served in a small cast iron skillet (what, why?) and it included canned mushrooms and broccoli. My ban chan was one small plastic cup with three slices of cucumber topped with a sauce. If I wanted kimchi I needed to pay extra. My husband had Korean wings that he had to dip in a sauce he had never tasted before and he didn't care for. Why weren't they slathered in a recognizable hot sauce since we said we wanted them hot?The rating is because the waitress was very attentive and very nice, even bringing me a plate to put the egg on from the bibimbap after I specifically ordered it without egg. The decor was nice and the restaurant was clean. At 12:30 in the afternoon we were the only guests.

I really wish this chain was like how it used to be, and my husband and I had high hopes since we both used to love it back when it was near NC State. Our waitress was very nice, so it wasn't service that we were disappointed in, but the food. We have had Korean fried chicken in many restaurants throughout the triangle, and this had to be amongst one of the more disappointing ones. It first took almost 45 minutes of waiting for our food to arrive, and when it did arrive, only one out of our two plates actually looked like it was prepared with actual sauce. We had ordered a #3 small and #4 small with Soopreme sauce, which is where it is to be double fried with 2 types of sauces. One looked like it was prepared accurately, which tasted alright, but the other was just sad. It was so sad I started laughing at how they tried to pass this off as double fried with 2 sauces. If you take a look at the photos I took, you can see that the pieces of chicken were not even dipped in the sauce. Rather, they drizzled some sauce over it and it barely covered the pieces of chicken. I've had enough Korean fried chicken to know what it should look and taste like, and this ain't it.Hate to say it, but I don't think I will return to Soo Cafe. There are plenty of better KFC places in the triangle that did not require 45 minutes of wait for something this laughable.

Wow, it's so great to have this place so close to home! A very nice remodel was done of the interior, very clean and nicely decorated. Our server, Payton, was fantastic, one of the best servers I've seen in a while. Food was also stellar. Wings were crunchy and flavorful, we chose sauce number one. Bulgogi and Kalbi were served on sizzling platters, very good quality meat with great seasoning. The small sides served with the two platters were all very tasty. Definitely a place we will come back to!

Ordered Korean fried chicken with Soga (soy garlic) sauce and plain, beef bulgogi and a corn dog to go online. Everything was ready on time and the food was delicious! The wings were crispy and hot even after the 15 minute drive home. The bulgogi came with some rice and small banchans. Service was great - very friendly! We even shopped in their small grocery section while waiting for our order. Highly recommended! We will dine there next time.

Ordered bibimbap and dark meat fried chicken. One of the better bibimbap in RTP area, their gochujang is balanced and not one dimensional like others. Protein was bulgogi, very well marinated. This came is a hot skillet. One thing that came be improved is the amount of oil on the bottom can be reduced. Greasy however, still the best bibimbap in this area thus far.KFC: Very juicy and with a great crust. This is not your twice fried chicken but still very well executed. However, the SOGA glaze is too sweet and not balanced with soy sauce and there is definitely no garlic. Overall, 3.5 stars...we will be back to try other things on the menu

I was really excited to get another Korean restaurant in Wake Forest; however, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. The prices were a little high, which is not so bad if there is a good portion of food, but it was not. Additionally, the food was not that great. My Ramyeon was mushy and bland. On the positive side, the service was great.
