Sonny's Liquor & Cigars

Was in here today looking for some kind of liquor to drink while talking on the phone with my boss. I am guessing the owner walks up to me and ask what I Am looking for? I said just looking for something. A few mins go by and he asks me to leave the store asshole that I don't need your business. I was going to buy something once I got off the phone. Great customer service.

In this part of town as far as independent shops go, Sonny's has the best selection of Scotch, bar none. His selection is better than many Specs I've been to. I can't speak to the other spirits but it looks like bourbon was well covered too.

Great place. Very helpful & great knowledge about wines. Wasn't pushy & asked me questions about what kind of wine I like. Didn't just recommend high dollar wines. Def my new place to go!

This is very hit or miss in terms of selection. Every once in a while I pop in - because they just might have something unique.Prices are on the high side. It's unreasonable to expect big box store pricing from a small business.

They have my favorite tequila La santa Great location, the owner is very nice and prices work for my pocket

I wish I could give this place negative stars. They charge 3-4x over retail for bottles then laugh at their customers if they don't want to buy what they present. The owner is rude and does not know how to run a business. No wonder the store is in such poor shape. Avoid at all costs.

Do not waste your time or spend money at this business. The fee times I've stopped in the owner was unnecessarily rude. I bought two bottles of wine and they were both bad. They had turned to vinegar and had black sediment inside along with the cork deteriorating. I returned to show him and he rudely refused to refund or replace them. The demanded I leave the store when a customer entered out of embarrassment. He and his product are garbage.

It's a shame I can't give him 0 stars. The owner is rude. I was looking for a bottle of wine for a dinner and was waiting for a text about what type of wine to get. The owner asked twice if I needed help, I told him no. The 2nd time though he stood right next to me as I was still looking at all his wine. After 20 minutes in the store he asks me if I'm buying or just browsing. I tell him I'm waiting for a text about what type of wine to get, and he proceeds to tell me to leave. I tell him "You're being an ass" he then chases me out the door, and tells me to come back inside. I tell him no, he then proceeds to call me "white trash" numerous times because he thought I was too poor to buy something. I tell him again I was waiting for a text and he tells me to come back inside then. I tell him he isn't getting my money now and he calls me white trash a few more times.

Very rude owner. Assumed I was too young to buy alcohol and repeatedly watched me like a hawk. Very off putting. Why be so rude?
