Another pocha!!Came here on a Friday night around 930pm and no wait! They have open karaoke in the back and regular restaurant seating when you enter. Morgan was wonderful and she had a great service/attentiveness. Ordered all 3 flavor of wings and wings were cooked nicely and crispy. Flavors were good. Also got the rice cake + sausage on a stick and loved those the most! The flavor / sauce was yummy and the rice cake were cooked nicely too. The corn cheese was pretty standard and the seafood pancake was perfectly cooked with the crisp edges and paired well with the sauce.Army stew was filling and had all the fixings inside with tofu, ramen, sausage, fish cakes and veggies. Smaller than most pochas, but it was nice and intimate. Music in the background was a pretty good selection as well. Parking - They have their own parking lot!

I'm not sure if the ownership changed with the name change but I had an excellent experience when I visited. The banchan and food were so good that my group kept asking for refills and ordered doubles of some entrees. The jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) were my favorite! I always get nervous about saucy items being too salty but the jajang sauce was perfect. The food was accompanied by lots of drinks with my favorite being the made-in-house soju. Everyone at the table was raving about the soju and I practically begged the owner to consider bottling and selling. I legitimately would buy cases of this stuff if possible.

This place used to be called apgujeong/soju bar but I guess they changed the name recently? It's been forever since we have been to this place, and learned that everything got changed. The name, the food quality, service. I got to say that i wasn't too impressed. The seafood pancake was too salty. My favorite dish here used to be the fish cake soup, but it was salty as well. I don't know I'd come back to this place again... can't really recommend this place either.

The food was excellent, the service was on point and the new manager was super friendly. Don't let the outside fool you, the indoor area is very nice inside and very clean. Best korean food I've had in a long time.

We decided to give this place a try after seeing a post on Instagram. We were quite excited to try somewhere new and close by, but unfortunately it didn't quite wow us. We ordered the LA Galbi and spicy pork bulgogi. The galbi was delicious (5/5 stars), but the spicy pork bulgogi (normally a very safe dish for me) was the worst I've ever had (1/5 stars). Somehow they managed to serve us the most bland pork with no flavor...just some heat to make it spicy. I'm still in shock and extremely disappointed. I got better pork bulgogi when I lived in Ecuador...which is shocking to me. We ended up not eating it, because it was that unappetizing. The service wasn't bad, but I had to take off points when our server didn't even ask if there was something wrong with the dish when we told him we didn't want it upon paying our bill. I also had to take off points for charging for rice. It's $1.50 for extra rice....which is an extreme up charge considering what rice costs. The only reason we'd go back is if we wanted to eat some galbi.

Good vibes and even better food! The soju crafts are bomb and there are so many flavors to choose from! I love the yogurt and lychee.Every dish here is delicious. The seafood pancake is super crispy and flavorful. The wings are perfectly sauced and delicious. And the spicy rice cakes are some of the best I've tried! The service is attentive and helpful. I visited during the soft opening and they've worked out some of the kinks on my second visit. The karaoke room is great for a large group! Come check out this new hot spot in K Town!

Came for a celebration with a group of friends, I asked what does Pocha mean and the owner explained Pocha is small tented establishment in Korea that serves comfort food late nights. We enjoyed the hospitality, the attentiveness and friendliness of the servers, and really yummy food. I especially recommend Goongjung Tteokbokki, it's like a mix of japchae style Tteokbokki instead of the traditional red sauce ones. Food portions were big so we could share among friends, and the karaoke is so good that multiple tables of strangers got to huddle up and bellow out their fight songs together like old friends thanks to the ambiance.

The establishment is in a transition period and still managed to be an amazing time. The employees and patrons of created a welcoming and exciting experience. The karaoke is in a single room with great variety, and the set up creates a situation where everyone can have a fun time. The food was also high quality and tasty for a great price. Highly recommend for a great night out with friends.

Came here on a Friday night around 9 pm with a group of 7 and there was plenty of space for seating. The decor here is super cute and the bathrooms are also nicely lit! And aside from the main eating area, there's a separate room for karaoke! We were already super full from eating kbbq from another spot so we just came here for drinks. I don't think it was written anywhere on the menu but someone from our friendgroup saw that this spot had a soju drink inside a whole watermelon so we asked for that. This drink is literally pureed watermelon with soju inside (I think the owner told us they added 2 soju bottles). I'm not sure if it's because we ate so much prior to coming here but we were all struggling to finish it. The quantity of liquid is insane and the drink itself was very light and refreshing! It was a great way to end the night after a heavy dinner. Aside from the delicious drink, the vibes and service were amazing! I really appreciate how the owner came to our table and checked up on us. She was super sweet/welcoming and expressed her gratitude for our business. Overall, we had a great time at MuGunghwa and I hope to come back and try their food!

We were looking forward to trying this restaurant, but....We found we were the only patrons when we arrived. The friendly hostess greeted us and showed us to a table. Then we sat ... and ... sat and waited. The hostess seemed to be scurrying around in the back and we heard some sound from the kitchen, but nothing ever came of it. Fortunately, that gave us plenty of time to enjoy the strong odor of old grease. We decided that there were better options elsewhere.
