Sofia Design District is the epitome of chic, luxurious, and feminine sophistication. The restaurant's aesthetic is true elegance, perfectly matched by the delicious Modern Italian flavors of its menu. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Both the server and General Manager checked in regularly, making every detail was 5 stars. We opted for a wine pairing with our meal, and the selection was lovely, complementing each dish beautifully. From the wagyu carpaccio topped with truffle and crudos with a sauce so good, I would just drink it to the creamy cacio e pepe and perfectly cooked steak, every bite caught me by surprise!

I came here for brunch, and let me start by saying the ambiance is chic and beautiful--everything is pink with stunning Marilyn Monroe portraits throughout. The employees were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The food was fantastic! The Insalata Romana had the perfect amount of dressing, and the Fritto Misto was crispy, airy, and not overly fried. The star of the meal was the Spicy Rigatoni--so delicious I could've easily eaten two plates! The sauce was incredible, with just the right kick of heat.Overall, the ambiance was amazing, and the staff was exceptional. Big thanks to our server, Ana, for the great service and to Gary for being so attentive and friendly. I can't wait to come back soon! Overall a 10/10 experience!

Taking advantage of the last week of Miami Spice Month, decided to schedule a lunch meeting with a colleague. I specifically wanted to visit the Design District and of all the menus and offers, I selected Sofia. This restaurant is located where the previous restaurant Estefan Kitchen was located. The first impression is WOW! The decor and the details in this restaurant are spectacular. I love all the different shades of pink and the chandeliers are perfect. All decoration is modern, elegant and very Italian. The Miami Spice Menu has great options for appetizers, main dish and dessert. My friend and I ordered the Burrata and Carpaccio (for an additional fee). The carpaccio had figs in it. It was delicious. For main entree we ordered the Cacio e Pepe and the Rigatoni with Pink Sauce. The Cacio e Pepe was the best option and the second plate was a little spicy for my taste. Dessert options included the Tiramisu and Pistachio ice cream. My favorite one was the second one. It was creamy and just the perfect taste. I enjoyed the ambiance, our servers were very generous and attentive. Even the host was very nice to us and came to see us twice. Their bar is a great place for drinks. Either the one outside and inside. It was too hot of a day to be outside but in a cool and sunny day it will be a perfect brunch gathering with girlfriends. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. Make sure to make your reservations ahead of time.

Was able to try this restaurant during Miami Spice month for GNO. It was such a girl's vibe. The restaurant is dimmed with pink hues everywhere. Very cool, hip ambiance. Our server Salvatore was amazing! He recognized that it was girl's night out and made our experience/dinner with his recommendations and service. It was a group of six, so we were able to try a little bit of everything from the menu. A lot of plates didn't make it into pictures so you're just going to have to trust me. For appetizers we tried the ahi tuna, calamari, and for an up-charge the wagyu carpaccio. The Calamari was rightfully crispy and salted to perfection. The carpaccio had truffle, not too sharp of a cheese, and fig for sweetness that just paired so well with the beef. I loved it. It was worth every dollar up-charge. For the main course, I got the Spicy Rigatoni Alla Vodka - which I wish it was a little bit more spicier for me. But, the pasta was cooked right to al dente and it was deliciously cheesy enough. I got to sample the salmon which was cooked to "medium!" And I also sampled the Bistecca - medium - that melted in your mouth. We had a white and a red bottle of wine that night - don't ask me what they were. But a time was had. And the food was great. I think a DJ even came on at some point.

I've been wanting to try Sofias Cacio e Pepe for a while a finally went to try it! The restaurant is decorated very cute and very pink lol. Our server was very attentive and checked on us frequently. They were participating in Miami Spice and even had Spice beverages so of course I ordered from that menu. I ordered the love affair and it was delicious! For the appetizer I went with the insalata romana which was pretty much a cesar salad that could've used a little more dressing. For my main dish I got the cacio e Pepe and it was good but unfortunately I didn't see the hype. For dessert I got the cannoli with the sober and both were delicious! The sorbet comes on the same plate as the cannoli and we were sitting outside so it melted really fast! I will be back to try their spicy rigatoni!

Sofia Design District is another Miami Spice win. I had the $35 lunch. There was no wait at 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon. We sat outside, it was hot. There are umbrellas and fans around the outside seating area but it is still pretty uncomfortable in early September. The hostess did mention when she seated us that if the sun was in our eyes we could move which was thoughtful. Our server was on top of things and was a delight. The food runners were impressive naming each course and all the ingredients as they placed our plates in front of us. My Miami Spice meal consisted of the fritto misto (calamari, eggplant & zucchini) was lightly fried with an aioli sauce and peppers that added to its mystique. My entree was the spicy rigatoni alla vodka, I understand why 'spicy' got top billing. And of course I had tiramisu for dessert. Our server was a delight. When I went into the restaurant for the restroom there were 2 dogs at 2 different tables, neither had any indication of being any sort of service dog. I have a dog but that is a total turnoff to me. Parking is convenient and inexpensive in the Design District

We came here for the first time for Miami Spice. The place is very cute, all pink decor. The hostess was nice but sat us in a back booth near the door with a lot of flies, so we had to move. Once we moved the experience improved.Off of the miami spice menu, we had the burrata and the fritto misto. The burrata was a small piece that came with cooked cherry tomatoes, balsamic, and two pieces of ciabatta. It was tasty but small. The fritto misto had fried pieces of calamari, eggplant, and zucchini and the chili dipping sauce was spicy and delicious. For mains, we both had the spicy rigatoni. it was phenomenal!!!! so good. the pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was creamy, spicy, and the perfect thickness. For dessert, we got one of each -- the tiramisu and the cannoli. The cannoli order came with two (perfect to share). The mango sorbet was cold and refreshing and paired nice with the cream-filled pastry. The tirimsu had ice cream on the bottom i gelive. It was cold. It was good but i prefer traditional tirimisu. Our waiter, Salvatore, was super friendly. He helped us with picking t he perfect glass of wine to pair with the meal.Perfect meal for $45 each!

This place was delicious! My friend and I went on a Friday night for Miami spice at around 8pm and it wasn't busy at all to my surprise. The pink decor is so cool and the inside looked nice as well. Our server was very kind and attentive. At some point the manager even came to ask how the food was just to check on us which was very nice. The truffle cacio e pepe dish: the pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce for it was delicious as well.Everything was fresh and delicious and drinks were good too. I would definitely return!
