Wonderful food! Stuffed potatoes spectacular! Owners extremely nice! My favorite barbeque place!

My favorite BBQ place in Texas! I've had many sliced beef sandwiches as a native Texan, but the ones here are the BEST!!! The fries are always freshly made and the small town atmosphere is refreshing!! Love the sweet tea as well!! Better than any restaurant I've ever been to!! They also have hamburgers, BBQ plates with your choice of meats and they have lunch specials in case you want something different. They have baked potatoes loaded with beef too and are delicious!!If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out!

Very good chopped beef,excellent!! The people here are so sweet too and that matters alot to me.I really liked the banana nut cake.

I can not say enough good things about Smokin A's. They have the best barbecue I have ever tasted, no lie. The ribs have meat that just falls off the bone. The brisket is so tender and flavorful! Their baked potatoes come stuffed with toppings. The chopped beef sandwich is also really good!They also have specials that are also really good. I was lucky to try their carne guisada special once, and it was so good! The best carne guisada I have ever tasted.Also, the staff is really nice. It's a family run barbecue place, but they are all friendly.Oh, and the portions are a good value for money!If you are in or near Blessing, you have to try Smokin A's. You will not be disappointed!

Ok so super full! Awesome flavor. Small hidden treasure in blessing Tx. Hamburger ...well cheeseburger was cooked well and enjoyed every bite. Fries were crispy and got a tea with it all for one price. In another visit had a baked potato was delicious gotta try it.

Texas Monthly needs to check this BBQ place out. Tender ribs. I could eat the chopped all the way all day. Bakers were big and nice. Hidden gem for outsiders. Well known to locals.

Stopped in while staying in town. This is a family owned business who treats you like family! The Bar-B-Q plate was outstanding with the BEST potato salad I've ever eaten and cole slaw to rival any around! The chopped beef sandwich with toasted bun was equally delicious along with superb sweet tea!! Will definitely make the drive from Brazoria to eat here again!!

My husband had a hankering for barbecue today so we searched out the local barbecue joint and found this little place. It's a small little building three very nice ladies working there and they have several different items on the menu so we chose the stuffed barbecue baked potato. It was very good. My only suggestion would be that for the size of the potato. It does need a little bit more barbecue on it but other than that it was delicious.

I decided to try out Smokin A's after being turned away at the Blessing Hotel Coffee Shop's no credit card, cash only policy. With only three restaurants in the small town of Blessing, you certainly can't go wrong with BBQ. You can smell the flavor in the smoke, once arriving at Smokin A's. I just happened to arrive before the long line lunch rush. You order at the counter & the courteous staff members bring your food to the table. Fountain drinks & tea are available self serve. I ordered the brisket & sausage plate with beans & potato salad. The brisket was amazing, tender, flavorful & just fell apart in my mouth. The sausage was also very good & had a tasty smoked flavor. The BBQ sauce was prefect, not too watered down & really enhanced the meal. The beans were also good, but the overly mayonnaise drenched potato salad recipe could be improved. Also, only chicken leg quarters are offered on the menu. No chicken breast option, which is my favorite healthier choice. Still... it was a very good first dining experience! I will certainly try again.
