Smallcakes Cary

This is a cute shop to grab something sweet! I paid alittle over $9 for both the cupcakes I got (one special for the week, one non). The service was great, just one person around but she was patient and helpful. I enjoyed the margarita cupcake but the lemon we weren't much of a fan of. Its got quite a bit of seating inside so you can sit and chat while enjoying if you'd like. I'd come back and try another flavor! If you're in the area for dinner this is a nice something sweet afterwards.

These cupcakes are literally everything! My hubs does not usually like sweets. He does not usually like cake. But these cupcakes, he was allllllll about them. Cake/cupcakes/all the delish is really my favorite food group. So it's not much for me to say a cupcake is stellar. But when he says he thought something was phenomenal, I stop and listen! He literally loves these cupcakes! We tried out the cupcakes via delivery the first time and they arrived absolutely perfectly! Their cupcake holders are thoughtfully designed. I had a weird experience at the location with ordering going in one evening- the employee seemed pretty grumpy but was super bubbly to the people after me as I was leaving the store. It was 30 minutes to close, so maybe it was just a bad night. We all have bad days. But the cupcakes were still amazing! It's super clean inside and is bright and cheery just as you'd think the inside of a cupcake shop should be.

I had a sweet tooth and was looking for something sweet. This place is up the road from my job...when I walked in I was immediately greeted. This bakery is adorable in the inside. The cupcakes are pretty and she offers a lot of unique flavors, salted Carmel, lemonade, birthday cake and more. She also offers brownies. I purchased two brownies and one cupcake. The plain brownie was delicious! Perfect if you as me! The cupcake was cool but had a lot of icing. Service was amazing and there is plenty of space to park your car.

I've been to this store multiple times. This last time (4/14/23), the customer service was amazing. She was super sweet and suggested their new cake slices. I originally went for cupcakes, but I couldn't resist the strawberry cake slice. I couldn't wait to get home. The strawberry cake slice was HUGE & tasted amazing. I also got cupcakes & they were good too. The brownie was kind of blah. I will definitely not get that again. It wasn't special. The flavors didn't pop. It did nothing for me. There was plenty of parking available when I went. I love Smallcakes & will be a forever customer. I just wish that customer service there was consistent. The lady who helped me this last time was very sweet.

The customer service is always on point! The cake is super moist and they are not skimpy on the icing. I love the holiday options they have going on right now. Definitely my go to cake option. Highly recommend!

I had ordered on Uber Eats and there was an item that was unavailable. I tried to correct the order when prompted from the Uber app and instead of updating my order with the correction it just deleted the unavailable items. I called the store and the associate that answered was very accommodating and made sure I received my corrected items. Great service and also great cupcakes! I order from them very often and have never been dissatisfied! Thank you!

We stopped by on a Thursday evening. The selection was pretty good. The worker was friendly and helpful.I got the chocolate cake with coconut and caramel. Hubby got one that looked like anOld school hostess cupcake. We both agreed that the cake was on the crumbly side. Both were chocolate cake. They weren't the best cupcakes we have ever had. They weren't the worst cupcakes we have ever had. Middle of the road. We will be back to try again.

We were in town and my husband bought 4 cupcakes-cereal, birthday cake, lemon, and strawberry. ALL four were super moist and delicious with delicious buttercream frosting!! My only regret is he bought them the evening before we left so I couldn't fully enjoy them. But I made sure I sampled them all before we left for the airport. Will definitely purchase again the next time we are in town. I didn't go to the store, so I can't comment on the store or the customer service, but the cupcakes were simple yet delicious!!

The worst costumer service I had ever experience. Walked in being the only person in there person behind counter looked me up and down and didn't say I word. I said hello she said hi clearly mad about it. Asked what type the yellow one was she said it's clearly lemon. I just walked out couldn't even buy anything I was so disappointed with the whole experience

Now this place..... my prayers is that this place continues to grow! I purchased 4 cupcakes and a slice of chocolate Cookie Monster cake. I'm not really a chocolate cake person but I figured why not! OMG,,,,, yooooo this is one of THE best chocolate cakes I've ever had. It was moist, just the right balance of cake to icing ratio....delicious....now to the cupcakes...I purchased strawberry, a vanilla with chocolate frosting, some sort of peanut butter and red velvet ( I think).....EVERY SINGLE CUPCAKE .....was gone....they were fresh...nothing like seeing a pretty cupcake then biting into it and it has cornbread consistency....No not these cupcakes. They were smooth and favorable cupcakes. I'm trying not to go here often because I can't afford new clothing but they have a customer for life!
