* pick up order * Ambience (1/5) - Small place with no seating. The vibe seemed a little bit off, we arrived 15 minutes after opening and there were no chicken or beef Gyro on the Rod. We were totally confused and were wondering if the meat will be fresh. (because usually in Mediterranean restaurant, they grill the chicken or meat in front of you)Food (1/5) - and I'm so afraid it wasn't. I ordered chicken Gyro with salad and that's the worst Gyro I have ever eaten. Somehow it was very oily and not fresh. Service (1/5) - the concern person didn't give us a receipt or let us know how much was the tax. Usually when you're paying, you can see on the screen, the price, and how much tax that has been added however, in this case, he just gave us the amount that we need to pay.I am so glad and thankful that I had picked up a sandwich from Royal grinder next to this restaurant just to be on safe side. I a very disappointed as this was my first time eating a Gyro and not a kebab (I had high hopes)

We needed a quick lunch in Fremont and we were so glad we stopped here. Everything was amazing - kebab plates, gyros, hummus platters, baklava. We were a group of 20, and the man working was courteous, fast and efficient.

Love the food here and service is great too. Literally everything we've tried is amazing! Really wish they'd bring back the zatar though... we'll for sure be back(:

This place was wonderful! Other than having issues trying to get inside. You really have to pull the door! We thought it was closed we were confused lol. But once we got in we ordered to go and got a gyro and a gyro salad. Both were delicious! I loved the salad 5/5. It's really lemony but the sauce and cheese cuts it and becomes a great balance. The cashier was also the dude making our food I think unless I saw wrong but he was a very nice guy. The interior had a good amount of seating. Though we didn't sit there's just as much space for waiting and take out area! This was great would go again.

Great place to stop for lunch while walking through Fremont. Super friendly staff, quick service and great food! Seasoned well, juicy tender meat with yummy sauce with LOTS of seasoned fries. Big outdoor patio to sit and enjoy the weather and neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Disappointing. Bland, no char on the meat, it was obvious from the service there was no passion. Not even a thank you or acknowledgment when I left as the only person in the restaurant.

Always come here when I stay in Fremont. Good food and deserts. Usually pretty busy but some nights really slow. I'm here now they are making the food fresh can't complain at all.

Love this place!! The Shawarma Pita is delicious, and the service is very friendly and accommodating. Would very much recommend for people looking for veggie options as well.

After a very disappointing greek experience recently I decided to follow the reviews and go a bit out of my way to hit up Sinbad. I'm so glad I did! Sinbad is located in the triangle of businesses off Fremont, which seems like it could be difficult to find but it's really not and they have great clear signage. Parking is...well it's Fremont so it's not great but I was able to find a good spot on the street just on the side of the businesses and since I was doing pickup it wasn't bad at all. Don't let the area or parking deter you from trying Sinbad!The space is small and cozy with an area of tables to dine in and it smells really good upon entering. The man behind the counter was multitasking and it was clear he was an old hand at it and he was very friendly as I ordered. I ordered a chicken gyro, falafel and hummus and pita with 2 extra pita. I appreciated that they have a small and large order of falafel, it's pretty rare to find that. My order was ready in a decent amount of time, not too quick and it was made fresh. The man working was so nice and sent me off with a bag of warm delicious smelling food. Everything was delicious. Absolutely delicious and well worth taking a bit of a detour home. The falafel was fresh and warm and was perfectly soft and firm where it needed to be. Hummus and pita was fantastic and he was very generous with my extra pita. The chicken gyro is by far my favorite gyro now; there was a perfect amount of meat and veggies and it was crunchy and savory. No hint of dry meat or soggy veggies or pita was found. As I was eating enthusiastically I realized part of the reason I was so happy was that the food was made by someone with experience as well as love and that makes a HUGE difference. Everything was assembled so nicely and I can't emphasize the freshness and quality of the ingredients enough. If you've been on the fence about Sinbad, just give it a shot. Be patient with the parking and just know that your food will make it all worthwhile.Side note: as I was leaving I swear fellow Yelper Marie B was entering with the Homie! I couldn't be sure and I was coming off a rough shift at work but I kinda regret not stopping to see if it was a fellow Yelper in the wild.

The food here is amazing. Super delicious and fresh. I Love all the flavorful sauces and that everything is homemade right there...no shortcuts Just yummy food served with soul and care. Even the veggie fare is awesome and delicious. Open late on weekends for the Fremont party crowd!Love the friendly warm service and staff.
