Simply Splendid Donuts

My husbands comes here every Sunday to get donuts for us, I decided to go today. They are so incredibly friendly and nice. The donuts are always amazing and so are the Kolache's. Super fresh! My husband gets donut holes and I got a boudin, jalapeño and cheese kolache

This is a wonderful Mom 'n Pop Donut and Kolache shop that I highly recommend to all Energy Corridor residents and commuters. The donuts are always fresh and the shop boasts a great variety ranging from the traditional glazed to old-fashioned, donut holes to bars, and a large assortment of kolaches. The staff is very friendly and they have a great selection of canned beverages available. Whether you're headed to work or enjoying a weekend morning, I recommend giving this place a try!

They have yummy chocolate/ regular donut holes that my daughters love. (On a weekday)The donut holes are very moist and have just the right amount of glaze on them. The boudain kolaches are moist and tasty as well here. I liked that it didn't have a heavy outer layer of bread like some other places. I really enjoyed the blueberry cake donut. Overall the quality and freshness were on point at our recent visit to this local donut shop. The lady would helped us was nice and patient since I was indecisive on what I wanted this particular visit..for it almost being lunch timethey had a fair amount of selection for the time I came. Definitely will be back when we are on a donut/kolache day!

Got the boudain spicy kolache and it was definitely different. I am a huge fan on the boudain man so this was a nice fix for my craving. I was pleasantly surprised to see the fried rice option and viet sandwiches they offer there...next time I might opt for the fried rice. Great place to grab a quick bite!

These donuts are seriously splendid!!! I tried the donut hoes, chocolate donut, and sausage kolache! They have a variety of kolaches to choose from and delicious donuts. I highly recommend you check this place out! Next time I'll take a pic

Amazing mom and pop shop! Bit hidden but definitely worth traveling to. Great selection of donuts and kolaches and at reasonable prices especially with inflation.

I've always been to this donut shop but today I order 2 chocolate donuts and 1 chocolate sprinkle and ALL 3 tastes like straight up nail polish remover it was so strong! I decided to see if the 3 kolaches I ordered tasted weird as well and all 3 tasted really bad

Nice little donut shop with a good selection of kolaches it was a pleasant surprise finding this shop will definitely come in more often

In fairness we got here at about 9:30am which I understand is a little late for Donuts so the selection was minimal however they were good and fresh (had a twist and a frosted blueberry) the low stars is for the Kolaches the savory ones weren't great. They microwave them to heat them up, a little off putting when it's done right in front of you. The egg was dry in both of the ones we tried and the sausage only ones were nothing to write home about.

Nice little place in the shopping center next door to where I used to live. I stopped in one morning several years later because I was in the area for training and this donut shop had great reviews on yelp.The lady at the counter was very friendly. I ordered the chocolate coconut glazed donut which tasted pretty good and fresh, but similar to Shipley's. Although I didn't order a kolache or breakfast sandwich, they looked really good, especially the bacon and egg sandwich with large strips of bacon.
