Just ordered takeout from here as I'd never tried it before and I'm always up for trying a new spot.- Cranberry, walnut, and goat cheese salad, ordered with chicken salad on top - very decent; a good, yummy option for healthier eating (probably?)- Mac & cheese bites - a little dry and bland. A solid 3/5. Could have used a good dipping sauce featuring goat cheese...- Steak & cheese, ordered with onions and roasted peppers - this meat omg... the roll was a little dry but overall I was not complaining because this was the best steak in a steak and cheese sub possibly ever. Some of the meat was a little too chewy, but again, overall not complaining. Would I have liked it to contain more cheese? Yes. Was that an option when I ordered? No.Overall, would reorder everything except the bites-- would prob spring for the steak & cheese rolls instead (get it? Spring? Rolls? NVM.)

Ordered a Greek Salad from here through Peach and had it delivered to my work and although it was pretty good, they should of called this a side salad. It was basically three pieces of lettuce and some small tiny bits of chicken and barely any quinoa and lots of onions. It was done in maybe 4 bites and it cost $12 bucks?? I would hesitate to order from this place again otherwise you will be left starving for more.

The fish and chips was good. But the portion was small 2 small pieces. More chips than fish.The grilled salmon was good. Nice portion but there were hardly any vegetable on the plate. Rice was tasty.Pilgrim sandwich was a hit. The fries were really good. The homemade chips sucked. They tasted like they had been sitting around. Finally the steak tip bomb was meh... The tips were really rare kind of bland and some pieces were really chewy. I ordered using Ubereats because they had a buy $30 save $20. I might give this place another chance if I'm ever in the area, but I do t think I'd seek it out again for delivery.

I picked up some take out here on a friday night around 6:30. They close at 8 and by the time I had called they were out of 3 things I wanted. First they didn't have any sauce left for the Engine 2 sandwich, so I asked for a reuben instead. Then they called and said they didn't have the reuben, so I asked for the pulled pork sandwich. When I picked up the food they had given me a reuben anyway. They were also out of french fries so we all went with chips instead. They were homemade and ended up being delicious. My roommate also ordered the salmon with seasonal veggies which we were told was eggplant, zucchini and peppers. When we got home we realized they have given us spinach instead. Although the food was delicious, I think it's best to go in the afternoon!

Simple fare is indeed simple but good. Their potato chips are to die for, but the french fries are a little less greasy options. The greasy potato chips still win. I had and recommend: Caprese Panini (no meat!) or the Reuben. So tasty!And - quite importantly - not a NYC diner - meaning that the Simple Fare service is really friendly.

Not only is their food incredible and made fresh in-house but so is the owner and staff. Last year, instead of sitting back and doing very little, the owner/Chef decided to use the food to feed hospital workers as far north and south from Medford as they could go and also our first responders. Staff were able to still come into work, just some shorter hours. A small local business that took care of hundreds and hundreds of people. People that will probably never come to Medford for a meal but even knowing this Simple Fare opened their hearts and pockets to help. Much like a lot of small businesses that can not afford to spend millions of dollars for TV ads to pat themselves on the back and were able to easily stay afloat during the crisis. Simple Fare and all the other local small businesses will keep getting my business. Thank you for your kindness. As for the food, you will have a hard time picking a favorite. All their menu items are cooked to perfection.
