This spot was SO much fun to try...& to brainstorm new combos for my next visit.Love that they made it so easy to identify any preferences or allergens. The staff was friendly and helpful when I asked for a pairing suggestion. I didn't think of it when I ordered but did see tastings were an option and would suggest that if you're not sure about a filling/topping.Everything is pretty sweet, so be mindful of that when choosing what and how many combos - but I mean, it is dessert, so that's typical. A super cute spot & majorly fun concept! Loved learning about the story of its opening and seeing the owners working during my visit. I hope this place gets a big following and thrives in the area, and beyond!

This Is my new favorite ice cream place in the Triangle (but closely tied with Parlor)They have vegan vanilla soft serve, which is pretty rare around here, and a great selection of vegan cores, dips, and toppings, tooEveryone I've taken here is won over by the selection and great people working hereThe only drawback (-1 star) is that a friend ordered a cup without a core option .... and it was hollow! They literally just left the middle of it without ice cream! (cores are an extra charge)** So buyer beware on that

Is it possible for a dessert place to be too sweet? On a recent post dinner date we ended the night getting ice cream here. Technically custard or their non-dairy option. I haven't been back in a little while and it was surprising to see that they've added more choices for toppings,mix-ins and cores while removing the chocolate flavor that they previously had. Here's the thing, I just find their base custard too sweet. It's just not for me along with the topping selections. I just find it so incredibly teeth hurting sweet. Now my wife on the other hand loves it. She's got the taste buds of a child and loves incredibly sweet stuff so she loves this place. The biggest downsides here is the seating is limited and I really dont like the layout with the placement of ordering to checking out. It doesn't have a good flow. There's also no water that's easily accessible, and because it's downtown Durham the bathrooms are a pain to get to as well. This is really a place you come to if you have children who want ridiculously sweet desserts.

Oh my god! I'm an ice cream enthusiast and this ice cream is nothing like what I've tried before. Yes core and dips are cool but I was just blown away by the ice cream itself. The only thing I wish was that they had chocolate flavor, maybe in the future?! Oh and their pup cones are just the cutest!

While I was in Durham for the week, I was looking for a good dessert spot and found this amazing ice cream shop that specializes in dipped cones and ice cream sandwiches. I tried the vanilla ice cream sandwich dipped in caramel with pistachios--it was delicious! The shop was clean, had plenty of indoor seating, and the customer service was excellent. I highly recommend checking out this local gem. There's also street parking available.

Been on my bucket list for a while!!! SO good and so fun! My favorite ice cream is dipped! We made a trip specifically to Durham for Simon Says Dip This. It can be overwhelming at first so take your time in picking what you want! I got raspberry filled/dipped and fruit pepples on top! It was fabulous and we can't wait to go back! It was decorated so fun and hip which is our jam!

Friendly staff and cute seating inside. Go in with an appetite, as their portions are huge! I recommend sharing one bowl between a couple! We will be back to try more combinations !

This was such a cute ice cream shop in downtown Durham. The line was long when we arrived but it moved quickly. For the ice cream, you get to choose a base and then a dip. I got the vanilla soft serve cone dipped in cookies n' cream. They have like 25 different dips to choose from, so you can try something new every time. I thought the amount of ice cream was good for the price. The shop is small, they didn't have that much seating. The good news, the ice cream didn't melt that fast outside, even though it was in the 90s.

Interesting concept that I'm not sure fully delivers. For sure, the ice cream is decent and will satisfy your sweet tooth, but I think this place might be a tiny bit overhyped. Service is fast & ambiance is good. It is in the middle of downtown so free parking might be difficult to find, unless you go on the weekend. There are so many flavor combinations possible though (& I'm intrigued by the ice cream core option) so I would definitely be down to try again sometime. 5/10 would recommend at least once!

SUPER fun place: You walk in and you're hit with menus and excitement. You have a few choices: vanilla, chocolate soft serve, sizes or a cheesecake popsicle. Then a core: a filling to your soft serve. Then a dip: there are SO MANY! Fruity, chocolatey, fun-black sesame, cheesecake, cherry, chocolate orange and more. THEN toppings: you can get up to three.Yes I was overwhelmed.Lucky for me, I checked out the menu before, as well as the IG. I decided on a regular vanilla in a dish (I'm a mess) with a fudge core, passion fruit dip, and dried strawberries and chocolate pearls. INCREDIBLE: really LOVED the tart passion fruit against the rich fudge and chocolate and sweet strawberries. I will say it was a lot: I honestly would rather have a little less ice cream so there was a nicer ratio of dip to ice cream. My partner in crime got vanilla, butterfinger dip, butterfingers, Reese's pieces and pretzels: she said her mouth was tired from all the chewing, and probably wouldn't get that combo again (sweet and a lot!)We also got some freeze dried candies to go and lol they are a trip! The place is cute: a few tables, swings, and the counter. They offered tap water or bottles when we asked for water - that was nice! I think the only think keeping it from 5 stars was the overwhelm of choice (I'm glad I looked ahead) and the ratio with getting it in a cup-maybe a cone would solve this? I will be back! I would also think some 'suggested pairings' might be helpful for folks that get overwhelmed easily-lots of options!Definitely will be back!
