Went there on a Saturday, bought wings and other items. The wings were tough and the cabbage was terrible. Tried it once won't be back. The date was 6/29/24 which is a Saturday. Spent over $80.00 and ended up trashing the food.

3 stars for the shrimp and fish. Here's my experience...I had to go to Philly Airport, and the incoming flight was delayed, so I do a search for soul food and find them 11 minutes away. I'm out.... off to a mouth-watering drive. I arrive at a sign on the door that tells me to knock. So I knock... and can see the activity inside and a woman approaches to say you have to call to take your order, and they will bring it to the car, huh? She could have taken the order or given us a menu to circle what we wanted. So now, I have to go back online to look at the menu again. Eating inside was not an option. We call and are literally staring at three women inside, while the phone is ringing and no one is answering it. Maybe they were all tending to the invisible customers. (We're being punked, for sure.) Finally, another lady standing at the register answers the phone. I'm going to get my favorite staple items to check them out. Collard greens, mac n cheese, fish n corn bread. My sister ordered the cabbage, shrimp and fish, and we ordered the chicken wings along with the small side of potato salad for mom's landing. $80 bill. I was so sad when I saw the portions, especially for the price. But I'm so glad that our hunger didn't make us too greedy to over order. The greens were saturated in vinegar, and so was the cabbage... There was no taste of anything but tart. The potato salad even had a vinegar taste and needed some flavors. They have a special touch of putting a piece of white bread under the dry fish, which was crispy, so I will give them that. The Mac n cheese was it baked or just velveeta.. I still don't know. I was sooooo disappointed. The cornbread was good but dry, like it was a day or two old. Welp, this visit killed time, which was the ultimate goal. Do I recommend it?...uhhhhh, not for the sides. The butterfly shrimp however, was really good!

Was in the market for good takeout soul food and discovered this local gem! Placed our orders and I must admit they exceeded our expectations! The portions and flavor were reminiscent of my childhood memories! Wow/they truly know how to make you feel good! This is our go to for soul food . Kudos y'all for making me feel like I was back home

I have been trying to check this place out for some time!The hours appear irregular and it's difficult to reach anyone by telephone..it rings and rings--no answer!Finally, a breakthrough and we decided to order online and that got the ball rolling!Pickup was smooth and once we got the food home...it was All Good!Turkey WingsYamsPotato SaladAll Legit! This is definitely some good soul food! I didn't take pics of the fried chicken; Mac and cheese and green beans..they were cool too!I would like to say I would try again..but kinda hit or miss...I like to feel if I am going to make a new business apart of my favs--they gotta have some consistency!Come on y'all...take a min and make a few changes..this can be a 4-5 star place...No Doubt!

Wings and tenders are amazing. Crab fries delicious. Food truck was at a local distillery in Woodbury NJ.

Food and service excellent I got takeout so no ambience prepared and box lovely. One of my favorite places to go for soul Food.

Delicious food! Everything had a home-cooked feeling and it was very delicious and flavorful. We ordered the philly cheesesteak wraps, the macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, and banana pudding that I can remember off the top of my head. We took it to go so I can't comment on the ambiance, but I enjoyed the experience!

The food was absolutely amazing! They had the food truck with the how we roll menu and these were by far the best stuffed egg rolls I've ever had I debated between the jerk chicken and lamb rolls and ended up with the buffalo chicken rolls. I also ordered a "Fryday" Philly who wants beef Philly cheese steak smothered french fry! Such an amazing value for how great the food was. I was at a brewery they were serving at and the crew would even bring the food into the brewery where people were sitting at the bar and tables. Such great people with great food and great service
