Service was fast and efficient. The guy gave me a cup of warm water from the back which was nice. Also got the food really fast which was a plus. The food quality is a little lacking, the meat is a little dry and flavorless. The grape leaves were okay but I've had better. Which is why I knocked off one star. But the sauce was good and the toppings were fresh. The price is really good though and you can't beat getting a lunch with a side at this price.

Review is based on takeout. Shish kabob is located in the food court area right outside of Marriot hotel and is walking distance from Raleigh convention Center. Ordering lunch through Grubhub was easy. Pickup was smooth/quick during the lunch rush and service was friendly. There are outdoor tables. I enjoyed the falafel salad for lunch. The falafel had good flavor and just the right texture.

While in town for a tradeshow at the convention center, walked over from the Marriott for lunch. They have plenty of options on the menu even if you are not a Greek food fan. Ordered the Greek salad with chicken medallions, it was delicious. Also ordered a side of hummus which was big enough to share with three other people! There is no inside seating but there are plenty of tables and benches outside, if the weather is nice enough. There were two men behind the counter and you can tell they work great as a team. It took less than ten minutes to get my food.

This Palestinian owner has the touch!!! Everything is fresh! Best Tabouli!!! Authentic! None of this replacing bulgur wheat with quinoa crap. This is authentic. I love their kabobs! Kafka is my fav! So delicious. And the babaganoush... it's amazing. Make sure they don't put that spicy pepper sauce on it. They see me and assume I want it because I present Indian. I am by heritage but I am a meat and potatoes Indiana girl. So spice is NOT my thing. Their Baba is out of this world!!! I have had their Gyro and it is amazing too. But when the Kafta kabob is this good and the abba and tabouli... why get anything else? They are also very sweet and kind service! Please stop by for lunch. They only open 11-3pm Mon-Sat. And it is worth getting it. I have ordered in bulk for party before too! I have taken my work tram there to eat as well. For a quick lunch place, and the kiosk style ordering and no place to sit place... it is the best middle eastern in Raleigh in my book. Please come say hello and order some food! Enjoy! Enjoy!

I thought this place was great! It's located in a small outdoor shopping center and has great outdoor seating. It's a great location for a group or several people as there are several take-out options within the same courtyard space. The interior is a small space with a walk-up counter to order (there is no interior seating). I was in town for a conference and the place was pretty busy for lunch, but the staff was very efficient and it didn't take more than 10 minutes for me to receive my order. The menu was pretty extensive, although I ended up just ordering the lamb gyro (they also had a chicken gyro). Food was delicious, my gyro was over-stuffed and requires a fork to help me eat it, and the price was very fair.I would definitely come back here again and possibly try the shish-kabobs.

Delivered lunch today from Shish Kabob, a beef kabob with a great salad, a huge serving of tzatziki sauce and more pita bread triangles than should be legal. Really, quite a big meal that was delicious. The meat could maybe have been a bit more moist but maybe that was lost in the delivery time.Arrived on time, packed well with cutlery and napkins included. I could order lunch from these folks again.[Review 12152 overall, 1936 of 2019.]

Located in the middle of downtown Raleigh, Shish Kabob literally offers the city a great taste of the Middle East. I grabbed a bite here during the Lebanese festival and was impressed by the flavor of the falafel, tabouli, and baba ghanouj. It was all freshly made and tasted authentic, reminding me of the food from home.

Delicious gyros! When busy it does take a good while to get your food but this is understandable. It is also a small restaurant so there is not a lot of room to wait and it has only outdoor seating. I really enjoyed the chicken shawarma gyro and the baklawa was okay. I would return again and would recommend this establishment to others.

I cannot really speak much to the food, as I was not able to enjoy it. My first bite of the chicken kabob resulted in an intense pain in my throat. A sliver from the kabob stick had been imbedded in the piece of chicken. When I swallowed it became lodged in my theist. I tried to dislodge it with my fingers, to no avail. I ran to the bathroom with increasing pain. I tried gargling it loose with water, unsuccessfully. I finally was able to induce gag reflex until... (it all came out). The cause of my misery was a one inch long wood splinter.I will never eat here again. I've eaten Kabobs my entire life and have never had such a harrowing experience. If you decide to continue eating here, be careful. Don't order the kabobs!

Food is pretty good. We weren't thinking and went on a cold day. Only seating is outdoors, which didn't work.I get that they have online orders but it was frustrating to be standing there waiting for our food while they filled online order after online order.Went because we had a coupon.
