Shipley Do-Nuts

Very disappointed, I drove like 15 minutes for some donuts and I tried to made right before it closes but guess what I was just in time but even with the sign that says open they keep saying is close.....Never will come to this location again

The staff was so rude! My husband went to pick up donuts for work and after telling the lady behind the counter what he would like 3 chocolate covered and the rest glaze she continued to make remarks in spanish notknowing he can understand her. The racist remarks and saying he doesn't know what he wants and the staff in the back laughing. How rude fix your attitudes or don't work in customer service! disgusting behavior

As a Houstonian, I already think that Shipley's is the best donut spot in the country. But bias aside, this place really is pretty great. It's one of the few locations that has a drive-thru. Also, it has outdoor seating in the patio area. I've never seen a Shipley's with that before. The donuts and kolaches are always warm and delicious. The service is super fast, and I've never left disappointed.The downside is that the kolaches seem to be more expensive here than at other locations. Additionally, Shipley's doesn't offer a lot of other breakfast food that smaller mom and pop shops provide. I wish they'd shake up their menu a little bit.

Each time I've visited here, the donuts and the kolaches are stale. Granted, it was in the early afternoon, but still. If you are open, then the food should taste fresh. We've tried the drive through and the inside. The service is about the same for both. The ladies are usually happy and helpful, but compared to other locations, the quality of food just isn't the same.

I grew up eating these donuts. My favorite is the basic glazed donut. The glaze is nice and thin and the donut is light and airy. Once you move away, you don't realize how good you've had it. Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts got nothing on these.You gotta love the kolaches as well.

I came here this morning got a kolache, after like a hour or two of eating my stomach starts hurting so bad and just burping the sausage. I go home from work. I get home pain is bad I vomit everything which was just the kolache I ate all day.. I'm pretty sure it's food poisoning I got all the symptoms.. maybe sausage wasn't cooked all the way who knows but I'm not coming back ever!

As a native houstonian, shipleys is the legendary place to get donuts. You HAVE to try the hot glazed donuts in the morning. Pro tip: ask for the hot glazed donuts in the back and they'll get you hot, fresh donuts! Other than those, the chocolate iced and the cake donuts are favorites too. Service was really fast and kind too. Highly recommend when visiting Houston. Fair warning as i look at other reviews that shipleys is not a fancy place inside. Its simple, small, cheap and fast. But the donuts are a 5/5 still!

Seriously?! Iced donuts placed upside down in a bag? I used the drive through so I didn't realize it was like this until I got home. Perhaps you should modify your process.

Customer service was horrible. Im sure it was only her but her behavior reflects on the store. She wouldn't get off the phone as if that wasn't frustrating she starts talking bad about me in Spanish laughing and smiling everytime i asked something. This was Wed. Nov 29 most def have some sit down and explain that

They are unsanitary here. I will go to another location. They don't wash their hands and I saw the lady wipe her face with her hands and then just put a paper liner in my box without washing them.
