This is my first time at this place. The staffs were friendly, courteous and our orders came quick. Since it was a weekday, it was less crowded. They gave us a complimentary pappad with chutney. The ambiance was okay and not great. It looked a little tacky, however they can accommodate large groups. They had Chef's special and Navratri (an Indian festival)Special dishes in the menu. We ordered the Chef's special Makai Galouti kabab, tomato soup and Tava Soya Chaap with Rumali roti. The starter was melt in the mouth and yummy. Tomato soup was creamy and tangy. The rumali roti was absolutely delicious and soft. Overall, the food was great and I would visit again to try out their other dishes.

Went here after a recommendation from a friend for catering. We ordered Dal Makhani 3.5/5Paneer Tikka Masala 4/5Tandoori Roti -5/5Pudina Paratha- 4/5The food tasted good and definitely will recommend it. Not sure how good their buffet is, I went around 6 pm for a pick up and there were not many people but for pick up there were more orders and I kept hearing that tell the customers we are out on couple of items. I saw reviews about the manager, I didn't get the opportunity to speak with him as he seemed occupied and least bothered but there was another guy who was very nice and spoke to me and answered my questions. Need to try it more before I write more about this place. Ambiance is just ok, it's is like a roadside Dhaba decor in my opinion that's also a very popular form of ambiance in India. And I'm pretty sure their chef is not South Indian specially after tasting the Dal. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

A fun colorful vibe hidden in a small strip mall just off Route 59, Shimla is our go to place for Indian vegetarian food. While they don't have my favorite, dosas, they have a wide variety of vegetarian options. The main draw this Saturday evening was the buffet for $20 you get quite a variety of appetizers, rice, naan, and quite a few vegetarian dishes with paneer or chick peas as your protein plus dessert. My husband got the buffet and I went with the chole bhature which was not too greasy and very tasty. Fast attentive, no frill service with a bit loud music and televisions playing Bollywood movies, not my thing but maybe for others.

Truly original recipes and perfectly seasoned. The service was very prompt, friendly and professional. This place is definitely firing on all cylinders! It's wonderful that most of their items can be made vegan. I ordered the Manchurian, asked for it to be spicy, and the balance was perfect. We shared the stuffed spicy banana pepper as an appetizer. OMG! The place was packed on a Friday night, yet there was no delay with the food and the serving temp was spot-on. After talking to some other guests, I'm quite sure that any negative reviews are coming from their jealous competition!

I don't usually give reviews but this is important . Do not cater from Shimla Peppers. They are careless and worst part , their customer service is poor. . We ordered food catering for 40-50 people from the restaurant and they carelessly didn't include one of the main entree even though they confirmed us all the dish at the time of pickup . No callback from the restaurant on missing entree after the food was picked in the afternoon. We realized the missing entree at the tail end of party in the evening When called they accepted their apology but refused to partial refund our food order . Instead asked us to pick up food or adjust in the next order .They don't deserve a star for spoiling my party and how they responded to us . We were misrepresented by the restaurant.

We called restaurant 20mins before they open and they said they have buffet and never mentioned we need reservation. When we were there and waited 20mins to be seated and they give table to someone else who doesn't even have reservations first. Owner or manager is very rude. We will never be going there again

Great North Indian food, all vegetarian also accommodate - Jain / Swami Narayan, and some vegan. Always staffed well and good service, acknowledge the customers are very respectful, do very well in catering too. Absolutely wonderful. The food is great. The service is great. I've eaten here several times and every time has been terrific.I like spicy food and this the menu here is full of nuclear-grade spicy food. I'm not well versed in Indian cuisine, so the names of dishes mean almost nothing to me, but the staff is very welcoming and make great recommendations. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong here. Everything is fantastic. Never had a dish that was even mediocre.Ambiance? This isn't a fine dining establishment. Not fancy, but a great family atmosphere.
