Went here for the first time yesterday and had a really good time. My family saw some old friends and it had a great crowd. Beer was ice cold and the Vegas bombs we dipped on were tasty. I thought it was pretty cool how you could download an app to play the music to the jukebox. This is a place I would love to come back to. I heard it gets bigger crowds most weekends

An ice house basic bar no frills. What native Houstonians would call an ice house pool table and a patio drinks are strong a cross-section of people in the heart of the heights. Music is a jukebox.

Shiloh is a great bar. PERIOD. I have looked near and far for the best bar in the heights and this one wins. Pool starts at 330 pm every week day, good players, good folks. Put your name on the board. No quarters on the table.Stiff drinks. Great jukebox, lotta Willie, Cash etc. Dart night is Thursday night around 7pm. Karaoke is Tuesday night at 9. Steak night is every Monday during football season around 7. Dan is the grill master. A new(er) tradition is Friday happy hour around 4pm. Venison, wild boar, and beef cheeseburgers grilled up by nate-dog. Grill is open to anybody. Just bring food and charcoal. Utensils supplied.The deck is quite nice. Television and sports on the two tubes with controller available on the bar. Mostly dog friendly, order in menus behind the bar. You can find most anything you need at the Shiloh. Take a roll of the dice for a free drink or shot at the pot.Great neighborhood bar. Good people. No posers. Four stars if you like a mellow, yet fun bar with good good people.

Holy cow! New hot spot! My wife and I have been coming here for the past couple years. It's grown now to the new hot spot in the heights. I think we've told one too many people.

A hidden gem in the heart of the heights. Great patrons and really cool therapists/tenders esp. sweet UH gal from NY. Truly a unique experience and one worth going back for.

Don't trust the bartenders They will double charge you and claim that you gave them a tip.When confronted they refused to refund my money. Screw them.

Great local drinking spot in the historic heights area. Super friendly bartender and great atmosphere overall.

Terrible experience, blonde bartender completely oblivious and unhelpful. Spent a majority of time smoking, didn't even assist with drinks when asked directly.
