We didn't mean to come here but since the place we were going to were closed for the holidays we came here since the reviews were good. After they gave us our plates I said: No wonder the reviews r good. The presentation is awesome; the fries were to die for, the Chicken Shawarma is so good. I recommend it!!! The salad on the Rice Bowl is also amazing, so refreshing. It's very cozy and I will come back again!

-**vegetarian review**I discovered shwamara time randomly when another place I was going to was closed. And boy how lucky was I. I love the food here! It's well priced, good proportions, lots and lots of vegetarian options. I love the falafel platter, falafel wrap, the spinach cheese pie, Zafar bread etc. I go to their UW location a lot for takeouts!! Highly recommend

Tried this today for the first time and oh my God!!! Delicious good food for reasonable prices. The quantity was impressive on my chicken shawarma salad. I live in South Seattle but I'll not mind driving for this food!

It really doesn't look like much when you look at Shawarma time, but the food hits the spot. Shawarma time seems to be a small chain which is fine, it's described as "Mediterranean grill serving classic plates. Best shawarma in town, as well as Kebabs, Falafel & Hummus, and Manousheh is the big hit."I haven't tried all of those things, but I can confirm the chicken shawarma, the name that may attract you inside is good. The ordering process was alright, on my particular visit they seemed a bit overwhelmed, but they have table service which was nice. The shawarma is wrapped in Saj bread with pickles, tomatoes and roasted garlic sauce. I think they went a bit too much with the pickles and not enough garlic sauce but there was plenty of chicken and it was well wrapped. If you're looking for quick Mediterranean food, then check out Shwarma Time.

Greek fries are stellar, perfectly crispy, generous amount of sauce and meat. It was ready in less than 10 mins. All the vibes were right, 10/10 would.

The chicken shawarma wrap is so good! Super wonderful service also, they included a piece of baklava and it really made my day. We will definitely be back and love that they are open late!

Just moved into the neighborhood & needed a quick lunch between errands. As a vegetarian typically I don't expect much from falafel wraps besides a quick bite and rely on sauces to make it more tasty. I ordered the super falafel wrap with hot sauce in it. The texture of the falafel itself was crispy on the outside, nice and moist internally, and well seasoned. The presentation was beautiful and most uniquely there were several different types of house pickled veggies that elevated the classic into something more nuanced to the palate. I didn't need to add a ton of hot sauce or garlic sauce for once! I imagine the meat dishes are even better for omnivores, but definitely recommend this spot for vegetarians & vegans.

For starters, both the chicken shawarma and falafel wraps were considerably small. Almost laughably small. I'm not sure I'd consider it an adult sized portion, especially if you consider the portion sizes of other middle eastern restaurants in the area. Surely, this small package must be loaded with flavor to make up for the small serving size, right? One could only hope. Both wraps lacked flavor. The chicken was a bit better, but that really isn't saying much. This is the first time I've had garlic sauce that had no flavor. Neither wrap had tahini or yogurt sauce. It was sad. Listen, Seattle is notorious for having bad pizza and worse middle eastern food. The options are scarce and the bar is set really low. Sadly, shawarma time is another middle eastern restaurant that just isn't good. I'd look around for better options.

Been going to this spot for my lunch breaks every now and then, and boy do they not disappoint! They're very nice and welcoming and serve the food on a wooden board making my experience feel very elegant. You also can't beat the amount of meat they give you. Every place I go to would charge double what they give you. I tipped the cashier a couple dollars and unexpectedly received a free baklava :) overall if you want good gyros and shawarmas come to this spot. Best price for food especially in the Ballard area
