I've been going to the Aladdin's for years (both the Gyro-cery and Falafel Corner) but the portions are bigger here and they somehow have just as much meat but more veggies! I will say it's probably impossible to eat the pan and beef gyro without making a huge mess - there's so much filling and sauce

This place got a lot better since the first time I was here. It initially felt like a cheaper knock off of the Ballard location but now the food is quite good. They still have the problem of not having complimentary water and any restaurant that does that gets automatically marked down for inconvenience for me. This seems to be culturally a middle eastern restaurant thing and it really needs to change in cities where filtered tap water is cheap and tastes good. Otherwise the service was friendly, much better than last time, and the food was flavor rich and well prepared.

Was in University Education District for a continue education course on a Saturday and discovered this place for lunch.Ambiance isn't in play but good food is. The owner was friendly and explained a few items I wasn't familiar with. Out of Kibbeh but their beef and lamb wrap was delicious with perfectly toasted wrap fresh peppers and veggies with a tahini yogurt sauce that made the sandwich. At $15 bucks for a combo with seasoned fries and drink was a really good find

The chicken shawarma didn't have much flavor or sauce in the wrap. Thought it was quite dry and could use some spice. The fries however were quite tasty. The fries themselves were seasoned so the garlic sauce and feta only made it better!!

- one of the few places in u district open late, we got there around 10ish and it was empty but by the time we got our food there was a line out the door - good spot to go to for late night munchies- shawarma fries (5/5): i will stay dreaming about these fries. they aren't on the menu but they're the same price as the gyro fries. super flavorful, the fries are thick and stay crispy even with all the toppings, and the yogurt sauce adds a nice tang to waken up your palate. can easily serve 2 people

It's got some good schwarma. It's open late too for anyone looking for a late night bite. I like the fact that they make the wrap all crispy for a tacobell wrap like crunchiness but better. The schwarma is pretty decent but a bit on the small side. The restuaurant has a decent number of seats so you can probably come and dine in. Overall I'd recommend it especially if you're out and about real late.

The beef and lamb shawarma are delicious. This place serves the real authentic shawarma which is so delicious. The humus and falafel were great too. I am so glad that we have this authentic shawarma place in our area.

This is my favorite place in UDistrict for fries! The staff are all so nice and food comes pretty quickly. My go to takeout place when I have to go to Trader Joe's!I've ordered the gyro sandwich and Greek fries. Gyro sandwich has perfectly seasoned meat and a generous amount of fresh veggies compared to places on the ave. Greek fries were so crispy on the outside and had such a creamy and garlicky sauce.I'm telling all my friends about this place!

Mana-eesh is essentially a stuffed and wood fired flatbread. They have a few fun options and come with pickled veg on the side. I tried it for the first time because it was cheap and I wasn't starving, and it ended up being a surprisingly decent serving for an even better price! It took a little bit of time because they assemble and fire it fresh, and it was delicious!! Super convenient location. The staff was very friendly and while I'm sure it's great for takeout like most people get it, they served it on a cute wood platter and the staff was sweet and I'm happy to know this place exists. Perfect stopping spot before seeing a movie or going out nearby.
