Shawarma Maker

The Shawarma meat was not cooked until crispy how it should be. It just lacked seasoning & flavor. They put a bunch of thin sauce to cover up the flavor of the meat. Chef on the run is much better quality. The mixed Shawarma was not even mixed! One side was chicken and the other side was beef. That's not what mixed Shawarma is... lolThe garlic sauce was the only good thing.

One word, delicious. My go to is either the chicken wrap OR the mixed beef and chicken wrap. This place is similar to Beeezzz doner on Westheimer, similar taste, Turkish inspired chicken and beef shawarma. Their menu is limited compared to beeezzz but man they have some amazing wraps. Highly recommend if you're not in the mood for Abu Omar ;) About $7.00 for a wrap, generous portions, make sure to eat it fresh and toasted!!! Also get it "hot", it's not that spicy lol

Gave it a go. Such good food. Great portions. Get the mix sandwich so good especially with that garlic sauce.

One of the things I have noticed over the past several years is this trend of food trucks charging outrageously high prices for what was originally conceived to be a delicious and low-cost meal. Shawarma maker is one of those places that my wife and I never hesitate to go to because the price is always completely reasonable, and the food is absolutely delicious. There are several food trucks in this area, but personally I feel like this is the best one. This guy really knows his food and we love it there!

This has to be one of the best Shawarma places in Houston. The food is out of the world. Everyone needs to try this place out once if you are ever in Houston. This is the food I came to Houston for. 10/10 would go everyday.

This place is so delicious! The people are very friendly. I actually was only here to pick up an order for under eats and Salem (a worker) was so kind. He gave my boyfriend and I samples. Must try if you're looking for something different that you don't always eat!

I am all about supporting local businesses and discovering new spots, so when yelp invited its yelpers to participate in Yelp's Big Night In last Saturday, a clever and creative opportunity to blend both of my foodie interests, I RSVP'd expeditiously!I quickly glanced through the restaurants that were offering delivery and, with a nod to my 3 a.m. visits to NY halal food trucks, wanted some tasty halal food. I had never tried out this spot, and was confused when I noticed that it was "closed" however, I double checked the address to confirm that it was the same place and was still able to place an order via ubereats. I perused their menu and opted for an order of Chicken Shawarma Over Rice and a Mixed Shawarma Sandwich.The sandwich was hella tasty, y'all. The mix of the different meats and the sauces was perfect and filled me up completely. However, the chicken shawarma over rice took the prize. The rice was well seasoned, the chicken and the sauce was fantastic, and the pickled salad was the icing on the cake - it was the perfect balance of flavors which resulted in me becoming a fan. I didn't take a pic of the sandwich since it was just a wrap, but I took a lot of pictures of the meal because the different colors were so pleasing to the eye (sorry for the many pics of my one dish, y'all). I definitely recommend that you try this place out.Thank you Yelp and Farrah for pulling together a fantastic way for us to continue supporting our community.

Oh. My. Fucking. Gawd. This was my first time here in years (last time I had the chicken over rice, which was delicious) I usually want lamb so I go across the street to Gyro Hut. Well tonight/morning they were surprisingly closed so I came here.... this was my first time trying a shawarma. Jesus. That was the best thing I've ever put in my mouth!!! I don't think I'll ever go back to the hut lol

Good food and friendly customer service. First time here but the beef shawarma I had was great. What else can I ask for?
