Came here for the first time. We ordered pork and shrimp shiu mai, crystal shrimp dumpling, steamed beef ball with dried tofu, bean curd pork roll with black bean, shrimp and scallop dumpling, steamed egg bean curd, fried spring roll, pan fried flat noodle with beef, and the Chinese style fried string donut. The shiu mai and bean curd pork roll were delicious. The pan fried noodles was amazing and super flavorful. The steamed egg and everything else was mediocre and ok. Their restroom is disgusting. Pee all over the toilet seat and mop water all over the floor and the carpet was super soaked. Overall, very pricey for ok tasting food.Staff is friendly and fast. Lots of parking.

Weekly visit to Chinatown Houston and I was feeling for some pot stickers. Dining in was not an option this trip which was a good thing because there was only one waitress for the whole restaurant. The order consisted of 6 pot stickers and they were huge! And I was worried that they wouldn't fill me up lol.

This place is okay. I'd even say good but we tried many dishes and end up finding surprisingly little to say about them. It's a VERY authentic (for better or worse) dim sum restaurant that accomplishes what it does. Some of the highlights worth noting from out dinner include:- The cheung fun is thinner than usual, more akin to a Vietnamese bánh cuốn than cheung fun you'd find elsewhere. Whether you prefer this is up to you.- The chicken feet are very good! They are seasoned well, substantial, and have enough edible cartilage to make an actual meal and not just make you feel like gnawing on bones like a certain animal.- Durian puff is A++ if you like durians. The pastry part is fairly thin, not too sweet and the dish is mostly made up of real durian paste inside. It also has a nice pandan flavor.- On the other hand, the beef tripe is... not great. It felt old or perhaps simmered too long, where most of the fat rendered and became overwhelming while simultaneously softening the texture. The beef tripe felt very tough yet not crunchy like it usually is.- The gai lan is frankly overpriced (SP grade for a plate of greens? C'mon) and the oyster sauce that comes with it is WAAAAAAY too salty. All in all, a good place if you just want some dim sum lol.

I went here to get some dim sum. Food was okay. The egg tarts were fine and service was nice. Place looks old fashioned because of the setting.

Let me start out by saying we came here before going to H-mart which is next door, and was treated to a pleasant surprise. Simple yet delicious straightforward dim sum. The bean crud roll was great, but my guilty pleasure is the sweet milk bun,( pineapple bun), was awesome. Great start to our day.

Get sum dim sum! This little hole in the wall dim sum restaurant is in the heart of Houston's Chinatown, located in the same complex as H-Mart. If you aren't looking for it, you'll definitely miss it as it's nestled right in the corner way behind 85 Bakery. But definitely look for it, because it's home to some of the easiest dim sum in Houston. My go to order usually consists of:- Chicken Feet: don't knock it until you try it!- Fried Taro: great flavor, never tastes like they use old oil - Siu Mai: you can never go wrong here, good sized pieces with plenty of meat- Har Gow: huge pieces of shrimp!- Cheung Fun: you can get beef, shrimp or plain - all are good! With great food, good prices and an extensive menu, it will surely satisfy your dim sum cravings any day!

This is your place for Cantonese dim sum (serves all day!). Although it didn't have a few of the choices we were looking for (tofu fa), it had all the typical fan favorites. The hom siu gok, shumai, cheung fun, and spare ribs were excellent. Typically the black bean spare ribs usually have a lot of bones and little meat, but these had minimal bones and a ton of meat. My favorite was the sticky rice wrapped in a banana leaf. Generous pieces of char siu and mushroom made it packed with flavor. Typically Cantonese food is a bit bland, but that's where you can use the chili sauce or the Mama La's hot sauce to give things a kick (like the hargow ). The gai Lan was tender. Overall the food was solid and was just what we were expecting. We will definitely get our dim sum on again!

Don't get confused by the restaurant's English name as there is no Shanghai's styles food here only dim sum. They're known for the all day dim sum. Don't let that discourage you thinking the quality will not be good. There's always a wait if you come too late on a weekend. The restaurant's kind of small. But if you come on a weekday you should have no problem getting a table right away. The menu may not be extensive like other dim sum restaurants. All the usuals are there and delicious. Their menu also have pictures.

Recommend yelp to please update all the popular dishes. This place does not serve dim sum anymore, completely new owner. Note I did not eat here but it was very disappointing to travel here to realize it had 0/10 advertised dishes. Not restaurant fault, yelp's fault for old data.
