Came here after shopping at Macy's. Cute and classy space with nice food options.Location-7th Floor of Macy's past the Walnut Room Restaurant. There are many tables near the windows and surrounding the floor-it is clean, well maintained, and spacious whether you are eating alone or with others.Food Options-There are many different kiosks with burgers, Mexican food, etc. I chose to order from the Macy's SALADS KioskI ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Salad which came with a pretzel roll and butter. It was a substantial size....asked for extra dressing on the side-wish is had more dressing mixed in with the greens. Overall the salad was standard fare-nothing exceptional for the price and it seemed to take a long time to make, which is odd for a salad.FYI-They offer culinary courses on this floor from tacos to barbecue and beer, party bites, a pasta class, and kids cooking class too...see picture. I think this is a great idea!

I love finding food courts around The Loop. They have Friday deals. Basically each is buy two pre-selected items and get a free drink. It's got Marc Samuelsson's burger place and a salad/sandwich place and some Mexican food. It's all really good quality because obviously it's on the 7th floor of Macy's. Expect worth the taste = worth the price. During the lunch rush, it is so busy! I went after 1pm and it was empty. I walked right up to order with no problem! Definitely worth going to!

I've been coming here for years. Since I no longer work downtown, I don't come here very often. Sadly, the last few times I came for lunch, it was pretty empty. This is noontime the busiest time anywhere downtown. I'm not sure why. The food is still freshly prepared and delicious. The addition of under 7 (all items under $7) is fabulous. So far I've had the barbecue pork sandwich and the turkey (freshly carved) blt. Both were loaded with meat and delicious. I've only gotten the freshly made chips. Next time I'll try the potato salad. Plus you can choose from Rick Bayless, Marc Samuelsson for the best burgers, and Tabo sushi and noodles. All at an excellent price. You can sit by a window to catch loop views while eating. I've always found the staff friendly and accommodating.

Located on the 7th floor of Macy's is the Seven on State food court. I venture over here for lunch from time to time. Multiple options, convenient location (can be accessed via the pedway), and overall decent lunch spot. I primarily eat at Marc burger or Frontera Fresco, although I've been to the salad counter for a really good Chicken panzanella salad. Marc Burger - Burgers, fried chicken sandwich, grilled fish sandwich, and black bean burger are all good. I especially enjoy the garlic and cracked pepper fries which comes with every sandwich. The fish sandwich is marinated in a soy based marinade and extremely flavorful. The fish was flaky and light. The fried chicken sandwich is huge and served with a curry mayo. The black bean burger is seasoned well and not too soggy. I particularly like the caramelized onions that are served on top of the black bean burger. Frontera - The last time I ordered the shrimp torta and a side of guacamole and chips. The torta is fantastic and comes with garlic shrimp, goat cheese, black beans, argula and lime on a chewy bun. The chipotle chicken torta - Poblano rajas, goat cheese, smoky garlic mojo, black beans, wild arugula, lime is equally delicious, but a bit spicy for my liking. Their quesadillas and huaraches (served with a small side salad) are decent, but not my favorite. The huarahces are sorta like a flatbread but made of masa and heavier. A Frontera lunch with a side of guacamole and chips can run near $18, but you won't leave disappointed.*Update* I tried the Cuban torta and was not a fan. The sliced pork was dry and fatty. The bacon was not crisp, rather rubbery and room temperature. Other than the fresh sliced avocado I did not eat much of the torta. Disappointing.

With weekday specials, working WiFi, clean tables and chairs, and a staff who brings you water... I will be here more often when in the area. Plus, the rewards program now rewards you sooner ($50 = 50 points = $5 off next purchase. 5 meals. 10% savings.)GRANDMA's CHICKEN SOUP was hearty with firm noodles. Good soup base. CHICKEN SALAD CROISSANT was a tad sweet, but it balances out with spicy crunchy thick PEPPER CRINKLE FRIES.

The food court is nice with lots of options, prices are pretty good as well. The salad i had was ok nothing that I have to have again but it was good. The lettuce seems a bit old and they tried to overshadow it with the dressing. My complaint was more about the upkeep of Macy's. You walk in and all the details are on xmas and decor. You travel from floor to floor and everything is infused with holiday. I was there for a walk through of the culinary studio where I am having an event. Well the upkeep on the 7th floor is HORRIBLE. First the women bathroom. You have go to be kidding me. Its disgusting. The stalls are old and dirty, the ceiling is literally failing apart and open. YOU CAN SEE THE PIPES AND EVERYTHING IN THE CEILING. It needs some serious TLC and updates. Come on Macy's you have to do better. All the effort and money put into the holiday decor should be shared on the restrooms. Has no one complained about this?? I am not a huge Macy's fan don't typically shop there but I expected more. We look at the Narcisse room and for what they are charging people to rent this they should be a shame. The paint is off on the walls and ceiling. Its old and needs updating. Do better!

Very nice and simple food court. It isn't a food court like in a mall, but more in the sense of cafeteria where they have a salad section, soup, burger, noodles, and so on. All food is made to order (well almost) and while basic, prices are bad and the options are good. Got a Barbecue Bacon Burger with chips (on the sandwich, is how it is served) and some seasoned fries. The fries were a bit cold, but the seasoning was nice and if the fries had been a little warmer, would have been perfect. Burger was decent, good size for the price, and bun was nothing to write home about. Also, they give you two straps of regular bacon, so if you are big bacon person, not a lot for the size of the burger. The drink is a bit pricey too. A little over two dollars for a 12.-14 Oz on fill drink. Not bad, but not great.Service was okay an what you would expect from a place like it. As stated, meal was fine. Could have been better, but could have been worse.
