I've been eating at Sergio's since I was a teenager the first one at bird road . Now 50 years later i still enjoy their food , starting with the milanesa steak's, Cuban fritas cubanas Cuban hamburger it has beef and chorizo sausage , pork chunks, great tasting rice congri , and the crema de malanga is amazing , they have delicious pastries , meat empanadas also , yes the portions have been reduced drastically but their food is stillVery delicious great service and ambiance , We still visit when we're in town . I miss the food we don't live in Miami anymore. Great memories though. ,

Went here for Sunday lunch a few weeks ago. We were seated in about 5 minutes. The tables were pretty close together, so with my daughter needing a high chair and the woman seating at the table near me being pregnant, it was a bit of a tight squeeze. It was okay but took a little coordinating. Our service here was just okay. I felt our server was friendly enough but mildly attentive, and maybe due to language issues she spoke only to my husband and not me. The food was delish! Not my favorite Cuban breakfast place... but definitely a good second! I had a mango pineapple mimosa which I highly recommend! Their Miami tortilla was so good. It had potatoes and onions and sweet plantains! We also ordered a Tabla Española appetizer so we could try the chorizo croquetas. They were good.. I'm not a huge chorizo fan, but if you are you'll like these! The appetizer, in general though, was plated gorgeously and was delish!

Although I love the relaxed patio setting as I am waiting for a new tire to get installed the server was kind and helpful, the music is chill background and the perfect volume.I loved the Cuban bread, wine and black beans however their speciality the shredded steak was super over cooked and hard to chew so they brought me a less crispy version which was ok.But I would not recommend because it was still dry and hard to chew.The roasted vegetables were on a bread plate so when you try to cut them they all fall off the plate. They were also cold. And the black beans were flavorful but not piping hot which I prefer and they were more like soup and I had to fish out the few beans.

Sergio's, man, it's like a Cuban coin flip. Some dishes? Boom, absolute fire. Lechón? Crispy skin, juicy pork, straight-up flavor in your mouth. But others, like "La Parrillada"? MehI should have stuck to the classics, like masa de cerdo, or lechon asado, arroz y frijoles negro.One thing's for sure, though: the staff are top-notch. Luz, our waitress, was fast and friendly and got our order right the first time.The location is excellent, and a robot brings your food. It's cool to see it like it's out of the Jetson cartoon episode, which makes the restaurant "cool." If you're down for some Cuban roulette and have a Latin craving the size of Havana, give it a shot. Order the right thing, or you will end up with something that tastes like your abuela's chanclas after a rainy day.

I ordered online and my lunch was ready upon arrival. My pan con lechon was delicious. The perfect balance of pork and crunchy chicharron for texture. I usually only eat half a sandwich and save the other half for my husband - this time I couldn't help myself and I ate the whole thing. I will definitely reorder it here again.

Sergio's has been excruciatingly disappointing lately. Discouraging because they are probably one of the best locations to go to for delicious food at any time of day but it is so difficult to give a high rating when their customer service has been at its lowest failing point. The wait times are terrible so please don't come hungry.We were asked to wait until we had to eventually separate our group because we couldn't wait any longer after an hour wait. The food that came out was great but again, wish they would offer more seating arrangements or possibilities to wait elsewhere.

Just ordered from Sergio's chickpea fracases (garbanzo frito) and it was the smallest plastic container with double the white rice. I paid $12 and if it would have been delicious I would not have cared but it had a weird odor, no little pieces of ham or chorizo and it taste odd. It all went into the trash can. the whole thing away. Very disappointing. My family and I have been eating at the Sergio's franchise since 1996 and I can honestly say I'm done.
