"While the process to initiate delivery is somewhat confusing, when we did finally receive our first delivery, we were very happy with the experience. The products were expertly packed in our very own Smith Brothers box, and everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. We especially enjoyed the opportunity to indulge in Trophy cupcakes, as this offering was what brought Smith Brothers to our attention. The milk, eggs, yogurt, bread, ham, tortillas, salsa, etc were added delights. We are certainly hopeful that our positive delivery experience continues, as we'd love to be longtime customers.Pro-Tip: Smith Brothers offers weekly or every other week delivery, so you can tailor to your family's needs."
"Great coop....everytime I walk in, there are new, amazing organic, local and sustainable products. It's come a long way and I always come here first to see what new items and produce they have since I rarely have to shop anywhere else now. It's so packed with carefully chosen staples that weren't there when they first relocated. The staff is helpful and friendly, and theres a little cafe Cool Beans with a coffee/juice bar that serves delicious items that are vegan also. I'm so pleased to finally see a coop in Anacortes, and that I can support such an amazing member owned business."
"This place is much better than the reviews say. Yes, the website sucks, yet as annoying it is, calling in the order only takes a few minutes. Also, the margherita does NOT come with red sauce. It's on the menu listed that way. This isn't a negative statement, just a clarification. However, I docked a star because it's difficult to find the menu if you don't go to their website which is a bit unfortunate because I didn't know their sizes or really what I was ordering. I ordered a variety of items and was super excited to try this place out.-Hot wings, blue cheeseThis was probably the worst item. They are home in wings with the tips, which is fine, but the size of the wings and how little sauce was on them was very unpleasant. Also, because they were baked on aluminum foil, they were both chewy and ripped the foil off with them. Not something I would order here again. -Beer batter cheese bread sticks, marinaraI really enjoyed these, the garlic butter is really good! Simple but delicious -Spicy Thai pizzaI was really worried about this pizza, but it ended up being my favorite thing we bought!I absolutely loved the peanut sauce with the mushrooms and red onions. It was just absolutely delicious. They do NOT skimp on ingredients. The garlic and onions worked so well together and warmed up the peanut sauce. Then to finish off, the scattered basil really being a nice freshness. So different, and worth it. -Mediterranean pizzaThat's a lot of olives. Olives with olives and more olives. It's a salty pizza, but honestly... it's not bad! The herbed spread on the bottom was soooooo good, but I did start picking off olives to get to the spread. In total, the order took about 45 minutes to arrive, and the driver was very kind despite waiting in the rain. Overall, this will definitely be a place we will check out more!Happy Eating!"
"A good neighborhood convenient store where you can find desi spices, rice, halal meat and halal frozen snacks. It is a family run store and the owners are very friendly."
"This place is so good and cheap!!I met up with a friend here and ordered a shrimp rice roll dish, fried pork buns, sweet soy milk, salt and pepper tofu and egg custard buns. While I loved everything, my two favorite dishes were the salt and pepper tofu and the shrimp rice roll dish. The tofu inside the crispy salt and pepper shell was so soft and fresh... I was floored. The taste of the shrimp rice roll dish was very yummy.Remember - this place is CASH ONLY!!"
"While in the market, we grabbed a few empanadas to heat up for lunch later in the week. OMIGOD - they were delicious! I had the mushroom and the salmon empandas. The mushroom one included cheese and althogether the filing had great seasoning and a nice substantial consistency (I mention this because other empandada places over-index on the cheese thus making it a ooey-gooey runny mess when you eat it.) The salmon empanada was mostly salmon, with great flavor and a little spice - which I just loved. He had the chicken and the beef and enjoyed them both. We'll definitely be grabbing empanadas from the market again!!"
"Chicken Tikka Masala & Basmati rice--both made fresh today. I bought the large size, which is enough for two tasty meals and a bargain at $12.12! I'm so pleased to have them in the neighborhood, and I look forward to trying more dishes from their daily menu."
"Once again, a great time at The Pantry. This time, I took Summer in Thailand and learned from Srisudawho came back to Seattle just to visit friends and teach this class. Even if you know the recipes, there is still so much to learn from the Chef teaching the class. It is both fun, entertaining, and engaging and a wonderful experience cooking with each other and then eating community style at the end of class."
"After first trying the cucumber flavor over a year ago, I'm addicted. In fact, each new flavor I try is better than the last!I tried lavender and thought, "This is it. This is MY flavor!"But then I had blood orange, and then I had rhubarb, and juniper. Talk about creative! What will they come up with next? I can't wait. Stop in for a tasting, buy a bottle (or a case) and you won't regret it. The only trouble is... which flavor will you choose?"
"At the Olympia farmers market, this is one of the most popular stands :) they give samples and smiles and excellent recommendations. My favorites of their jam are any of their habanero jams (just the right amount of heat) and their raspberry blends, although I have never had any that I dislike. These are so much better than store bought and the sweetness does not overpower the flavors of the jam. Their sauces are excellent too! Five stars for an awesome company who uses quality ingredients and has excellent people. Thank you Johnson Berry Farm for supplying the best jams and jellies out there-I never pass through Olympia without stopping by and having requests from my home. This is a must try!"
"Wow, just got back from lunch and decided to write this review before the food coma kicks in.My co-workers had been here a few times and always boasted about the chicken. So I came in and ordered the 1/2 bird and damn!!!! that was a beautiful lunch. The chicken was flavorful, tender, and way more food than I could eat. My buddy had the carne asada and gave me a bite and now I know what I'm ordering next time. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. My new go to place."
"I was in town in a business trip and was looking for a cozy and delicious place to enjoy dinner at the bar. I couldn't be happier that I came across Betty. Everything from the servers to the chefs cooking behind the bar were excellent. I had a butternut squash and pear soup that was tasty and perfect for a cold evening in Seattle. I had the roasted chicken, which is one of their signature items and I was not disappointed. I finished my most wonderful meal with a bouche de Noel that knocked my socks off. Thank you, Betty, for welcoming me to the city and making my first night in town so memorable. I can't wait to come back!"

I have nothing bad to say about smith brothers. They deliver milk to your house that is yummy. They have other options for their weekly deliveries, but you come use them for milk. I had on bad batch, but I called their customer service and they refunded me after I showed them a video. If they had strawberry milk year round, I would be happy.

I loved this place, I have been traveling and just dying for healthy food and this hit the spot, a nicely curated selection and high quality unique products, I purchased this Laird superfood cocau non dairy creamer and I am obsessed. The sandwich bar is tasty, offers gluten free and opens at 11. Lastly, I love how a coop smells, herby, spicy, fresh and it really brings back that 90's nostalgia for coops and health food stores before big guys took over the game. Also membership is not required. It's all good. Love.

Ordered for the third time and this is by far the best pizza, I have ever had in the area. The Chicken bacon ranch and their beer butter crust is top of the line. Will order again and definitely recommend you order as well! Your welcome!

Good food but very poor service.I recommend there food but be prepared for the bad service. On the menu, there's a section called factory direct. They told us that everything is uncooked. They can cook it there for you too, but you need to pay extra. We were trying to order something from the factory section and eat it there. She thought a bit and tryna charged us triple..... scam. We went there around 8 am, there were no one besides me and my friend. However we waited around 30min for the food. We reinforced her 3 times that we wanted cold soy milk, and she wrote it down but she brought us the hot one and we told her that we want the cold one. She seemed very confused and asked if we asked for cold one. I was like..... girl I just saw you wrote it down..... I don't want to blame her because of her age. I saw more than 5 people who works at that restaurant that seems 65 ish. For idk what reasons one younger women put up her apron and became our server. (I guess it's time for her to work.) man, she's impolite and sarcastic. I would rather have the old server that forgot stuff. The way they write the bill is confusing. They wrote it in Chinese and the handwriting is very messy. There's no other number than a total. We were trying to calculate it and she gave us a weird face. They only accept cash and they count in front of you.

I stumbled upon this place walking around while waiting for sushi reservations. I got a salmon empanada - never seen this flavor! It was closing so it wasn't warm anymore, but still a really good snack once heated up!

Got a personalized tour through this awesome little neighborhood store that has everything you need for a quick meal. The refrigerator and freezer and filled with fun items and there is even fresh produce. It has an East Indian focus ...but there is even ICE CREAM! I picked up some Naan and samosas from the freezer section and was really impressed with the quality of the food. Restaurant worthy (with help from my air fryer)

This place was top notch for a cooking class. I did the Summer Farmers Market class and was blown away. Lauren our instructor was engaging, funny and obviously knowledgeable! Her menu was outstanding and the pacing of the class was perfect. The volunteer helpers where so efficient and worked like little elves throughout the class. I have been to several cooking classes at different places and this was by far the best. Can't wait to some back! PS the food was to die for!
Visit Restaurant Page"Okay, new place to eat in Poulsbo! Amazing Graze hasn't been been open too long and are located in the Mobile station on Viking and Edvard! Used to be a Subway and now Amy, Stevie, Steve, and Karen have taken it over to serve wonderful sandwiches, charcuterie platters and salad! Next time in Poulsbo stop by and grab your lunch! Thanks Amy for a wonderful suggestion on your homemade pulled pork (I had mine cut in half so I could eat it later), pasta salad, and Italian sub!"
"I went and got these nuts as a request from someone else who liked the nuts, otherwise I would have never found this place and I normally eat nuts out of a tin from Costco anyhow. First time I went I couldn't find the nut house. Second time I went I found it by picking up a touristy map near the bathrooms. Pike Place Nuts is directly off the left of the main Pike Place Market entrance sign in building 1 as you are facing the sign. The nuts were $8 for a 1/2 lb so I got one lb. I didn't want to buy $32 worth of nuts and have them go stale so I only bought two 1/2 lb packs. The man selling the nuts was super cute, and unlike the other reviewers saying the service is bad, he was super polite and made me even feel all giggly and stupid silly. I think he hypnotized me."
"I just love this place. This visit was actually my second time there, but I wasn't able to get food last time. This time I got my hands on some salmon quiche, hamburger on brown bread, and some lingonberry whipped cream in a cone (plus some Icelandic kelp and moss soap). Then we took it down to the Ballard Locks to enjoy. You'll never find me extolling the virtues of a warmed up hamburger patty sandwich ever again, I'm sure, but here I am doing it right now, so take a screenshot! And the quiche, chock-full of dill and salmon and with a flaky crust like a fruit pie."
"Local market that carries most Thai groceries. They also have a plates of prepared food that you can buy to take out. When I was there, a few vendors were stocking their to go food and it was interesting to see what they had. The groceries are decently priced and the staff is friendly and helpful."
"Speak softly and carry a honey stick ... preferably from Woodring Northwest Specialties stall when you're strolling along the main arcade of Seattle's popular Pike Place Market (9:00 am - 6:00 pm).Of course, I'm not saying to get a honey stick (or 7) because you've earned it, but, well, because daddy wants some. Besides, they're local honeys in wild flavors like Wildflower, Peach, or Blackberry. And much like a famous rapper, Woodring honey sticks are 50 Cent. So, if you're rollin' to Get Honey or Die Tryin' then you'll find Woodring's magic sticks better than a lollipop from a candy shop to hit the spot. Ya, they melt in your mouth girl, not in your hand.Woodring Northwest Specialties sells more than honey sticks including favorites like fruit preserves, chocolates, and more. Which is cool for times I feel like Rihanna when honey sticks and combs may break my jones, but jams and jellies excite me."
"This place is so good. If you look from the outside maybe not but go inside... the smells are amazing the bakery is warm and fresh and delicious. I got multiple pastries. The bread was so soft and all of the pastries were flavorful. I came in to get a tres leches cake which I do not regret. I cannot recommend them enough. Best part is they are the nicest people. The gentleman at the front was beyond helpful and even wrote a message on the cake. I can't wait to go back. Trust me... go!!!"
"I am obsessed with peanut butter. I even roast my own at home, sometimes with local honey and sea salt. It tastes divine! CB's Nuts puts the same type of love and devotion into their peanut butter and you can TASTE it! Their peanut butter is what's inside Theo's Peanut Butter Cups (I used to live down the street from Theo's factory) and they use Real Salt, FROM #SaltLake (where I live now!) It's like my worlds coming together! I love it! CB's has a retail office in Kingston, WA, where they serve drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and delicious food and treats, sometimes with their peanut butter infused ~ like curry soups and chili. I tried some and they're yum!!! You'll be able to sit outside and enjoy the area's greenery or sit inside, where you'll be able to see the Mariners baseball pride, because it was at SafeCo Field, that CB's Nuts got their start. This company is a true example of local love and deserves all of our support! xx"
"still a 5 star! delightful wine tasting, live music, great location and lovely people! A must stop when tasting in this area"
"Tokara has an open house on the second Sunday of each month. Unless you want to buy in bulk, your best option is to make a reservation for a box or two for the open house. It's $11 for a prepared box of three. The sweets are handcrafted and seasonal. It's a good thing that I reserved a box, because she was already sold out by 3:15.I took the box home, made a pot of genmai cha, and enjoyed the sweets. The flavors and textures were spot on - delicate and subtle. The treats were beautiful and it makes you appreciate even more than they are handmade. My only gripe was that it was a bit expensive, but I will probably be back."
"We just happen to come across Micks Peppourri while strolling around Pike's Market. They were providing samples of their jam so we decided to give them a try. I never seen jam with so many unique flavors. I must have sampled quite a few of their jams and they were all good tasting. We decided to purchase a small jar of the cranberry pepper jelly which was best tasting of all of the ones were tried."
"Decided to check this place out while at the Great Wall. I always past by it but never thought it serves food for some reason. They serve taiwanese food it looks like. After looking at the menu, decided to try some fried squid balls (new item on the menu). For $6, you get around 5 squid balls. The flavor was good, but the balls weren't crispy and it litteraly just tasted like fish balls. i wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The lady who took our order seem very nice even though there was a language barrier. Overall, it was ok, maybe i'll try some of there normal items on the menu next time and see."
"Good Pork Tamales overall. A bit weak on the pork filling but the masa and what pork was there had good flavor. $2 each and they are slightly larger than most other places. I would go back for more. Best to call first to see if they have any left of course since they are not frozen."
"I you enjoy Mexican treat I say get you butt down here. I love the Mangonadas here. My husband loves the elotes. We have not tried the ice cream but they have a lot of kinds. They also make large or small fruit bowel out of pineapples or watermelons. The prices are good. The employees are nice. The service is a little slow as everything is made fresh after ordering. I definitely suggest you come here. I don't think you will be disappointed."
"Dock Street Deli is primarily a take out sandwich shop housed within a larger building on Thea Foss. They may allow seating now but I'm not sure since when I was here we were just on the end of lockdown. But even if you can't and you pick a nice day to go then you can enjoy your meal at nearby outside benches on Thea Foss.I ordered their Italian sandwich which I really enjoyed. Thinly sliced salami and olive oil as a topping made this sandwich worth while in getting for me.It may sound like to go here from the way I made it sound that it was an effort and I guess to some it may be if you want to avoid paid parking or nearby parking in which there really isn't so that's something to think about when attempting to go here. There is free parking at the Tacoma Dome Station but it is a little bit of a walk so it's really up to you if it's worth it to you to pay to park. I do have to say compared to other cities paid parking the meter rates are relatively inexpensive."
"Sotto Voce is a great little gift shop across the street from the Market. They have mix of seasoned Olive oils and Vinegars with bread cubes to dip and sample all. I'll make stuff like this at home for cooking, but picked up the big bottle of the basic olive oil & sweet basil as a gift for my neighbor. The big bottles are $19.95 and the smaller ones $12.95. Tip: If you are visiting Seattle and taking some of these home...be sure to pack them in your checked bags."
"After a previous attempt the day before, I finally was able to visit on 3/24/24 last Sunday. Those Montlake/520 closures and road construction on Madison sure can test ones patience! The Kitchen & Market - Madison Valley location is located between Bar Cantinetta and Cafe Flora. It has a limited parking lot and adjacent street parking.I briefly toured the retail shop glancing at all the displays, but exercising restraint. This is truly a high quality, grab and go, treat yourself (+family & friends) neighborhood bodega. I wanted to also compare this site with my visit & experience at the Pike Place Market location.I stopped by the showcase table to sample and savor the meatball, parmesan crisp, and chocolate chip cookie samples provided by a very personable individual. I ended up buying a tub of their pomodoro sauce (same sauce used with meatball sample) and a roast beef sandwich. The latter was savored down by Lake Washington at the Madison Park Beach. Delicious sandwich, would have been perfection if one bread slice was not soggy due to the contents. But the wrapper helped and had napkins in my car. Pomodoro sauce was used with premium al dente radiatore pasta. This yielded a flavorful dish for dinner.I like the concept for pret a porter/meal kit ideas. Price point not for every budget though, however, one is paying for high quality and well curated items.Current sites are located at Seattle's Pike Place Market, Mercer Island (will return after fire damage renovation), Bellevue/Medina, and this new Seattle/Madison Valley site. Future locations will be in Yarrow Bay/Kirkland and Seattle/Eastlake.Minus one star due to soggy bread, challenging parking situation, and ignored twice waiting to pay at the register.Note: Card payment at the register area, no cash accepted."
"Right now my mouth is salivating, as I think about those huge, juicy cherries that Chefshop shipped to me from the orchard where they grew! Yes, I bought cherries from big box stores and supermarkets during season. I used to think they were great, but now Chefshop and Stennes' Family Farms ruined that for me. Still, I have no regrets! It's like buying supermarket tomatoes and liking them until you taste a homegrown tomato. From that point on, the experience of eating store-bought is ruined! It wasn't even the 1 inch size of the fruit or the beautiful dark red color of the cherries. It was the burst of cherry flavor! It was the pop of biting through the fruit's skin. It was everything. Here I sit, enjoying my coffee with cocoa from Chefshop so it's not like I depend on them for only one thing. I buy cocoa from them and, for years, they've consistently delivered their finely ground cocoa powder - without damage, ever.I've since learned about and purchased black quinoa (nutty and delicious), red quinoa (nearly sweet and great mixed with amaranth for breakfast!), cranberry beans (we're growing plants after taking a few soaked beans prepared for a recipe!) and Madeleine green and petite black lentils. Through the years, I've purchased my favorite, Sun Brands' Madras curry powder, and a variety of hard to find delicacies.Still, my mind keeps wandering back to those Lapin cherries. I tried to get the Sweetheart cherries that ripen after the Lapin, but I was too late. Next year, you can be sure I'll order more. Especially now that I know about cherry varieties beyond Rainier (WAS my favorite but now it's a toss up) and Bing! Yes, you can buy cheaper cherries but you'll shortchange yourself on flavor and quality. That's what I learned!Special shout out to Drew T., who alerted me to a shortage of lentils in a recent order and reduced my shipping fee to apologize. Not only do they pack each order to deliver every package without damage, they are courteous from the front of the house to the back! Ok, the only thing I love more than the cherries and product diversity is their culture!"
"We frequent The Marketplace for coffee/pastries/sandwiches. There's free WIFI and easy free parking and lots of comfy seating. Sometimes the pastry case is empty and sad if it's later in the day."
"They have the best Palabok I have ever had! I usually don't like Palabok because of its flavor and very little protein. Somehow they made it look so special that I have to have it. Have you had Palabok that comes with pork adobo, squid adobo, hard boil egg, and many more? You can find it in Seattle Manila. The sauce is very delicious too. They also have a halo-halo filled with all kinds of goodies. I like coming to this place because the people inside are very friendly, of course, I like to satisfy my cravings for halo-halo and buy some Filipino groceries."
"For a bodega I really cannot be more pleased. They really do a great job of providing so many essentials that you might need and be able to find at a larger grocery store but without having to leave downtown. I've come in here so many times looking for a missing ingredient or something I forgot to pickup at the store and I often find what they need. The staff is friendly too. I think my only complaint is that their are always tons of strung out folks outside the front door and sometimes inside as well due to the location and so sometimes it feels a little unsafe coming down here later in the evening. It would be nice if they had a security guard. But none the less, I keep coming back and recommend you check them out too."
