Sealand Seafood & Steak Restaurant

We found Sealand on Yelp and decided to check it out. We were impressed with the Caribbean vibe and cleanliness. The menu has a wide variety of fried, boiled, and grilled seafood, as well as steaks and burgers, and there were a number of specials posted. Our server Shane did an excellent job of helping us through the menu and went well above most servers in thinking about our food allergies and how food could be prepared. We had grilled red snapper and sweet potato fries, sea bass with a baked potato, and a ribeye with dirty rice. All of the food was prepared perfectly and had excellent flavor. We highly recommend Sealand and suggest asking for Shane.

Well!! I and my mom were sitting at our booth waiting for our food to arrive. I saw a roach crawling on the wall just in front of our booth!! So we told the manager that we were leaving and never coming back. That is so filthy!!!

Fried mushroom starters were excellent. Steak was a little underdone. Shrimp and fish were very good. Service was excellent. People at the bar were a little loud but the restaurant was nice.

Food was very good, well seasoned and hot. Service was prompt and friendly. The place is a bit noisy, due to acoustics I think, but that didn't bother us. We would definitely return when in the area.

Wow is all I can say!! Amazing food, amazing service, & amazing prices. Every single item we ordered was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. The steak, the lobster, the alligator, calamari, sea bass, shrimp & Bloody Mary's are all so good! We highly recommend this place! It's great for a date spot or a place to grab lunch with friends while y'all catch up. There is even a bar area if you're dining alone or just want to sit at a bar & grab a beer.

Stayed the the hotel next door to here and thought I'd make it easy on myself and order takeout and walk over and pick it up. The girl who took my order and subsequently handed it to me was as sweet as could be and my steak was cooked more perfectly than I've had at the finest of restaurants for five times the price. It was so tender I had no trouble cutting it with a plastic knife! And this was a sirloin! Can't imagine how tender their filet is! It was also seasoned well and very flavorful. The garlic bread however tasted like fish and although it was excellent in texture was a terrible flavor. The mashed potatoes while containing pieces of skin oddly tasted instant. Super reasonable price also. It also came with a salad and a ton of veggies. All for $15!!!!If you're in town and want a steak this is the place!

This place is amazing. The food is always good even when they are busy , which is always! The place is clean and the service is excellent.The fried jumbo shrimp is the best. The owners bust their ass to keep this place top notch!Best seafood in Brenham!

My family had the best time at Sealand seafood and steak. We sat out on the patio. It had air conditioner fans, which was nice. We ordered a variety of dishes. The favorite was the pasta with the bacon. We also really enjoyed the complementary bread. The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing . Our server was very nice. My children liked picking out what flavor of gelato they wanted at the end of the meal.

The wait staff totally ignored our table while they seated 4 other parties who came in after us. We had to go to the hostess and remind her that we were even in the restaurant. Crumbs on the floor. Room for improvement.

Third trip. Calamari appetizer is good and enough for three people. The breaded catfish was just okay. Fried shrimp a good size and you order the quantity. Tasty. Came out hot. Service was slow and inattentive. Value is good. Large catfish fillet and six shrimp 14 bucks. Comes with fries and a salad. Setting is eh.
