Sealand Seafood & Steak

Tried this place after my sons football game needless to say we came hungry. Water wasn't great, lemonade tasted like from a bottle very sweet. Food was great! Salad I suggest for them NOT to put dressing on it because it was drenched. I ordered the oyster and shrimp po boy it was delicious! I loved it, it fell apart but I ate it anyway lol my son had a small steak with fries after a long game he loved it too. Fiancé ordered catfish and fries and it was gone, we will be back to try some more things on the list.

Place was run down.Extensive menu that needs to be more limited and focused on what they do well! Three and four bathroom stalls were clogged and nasty.We ordered fried seafood platters which came under cooked.Manager offered a discount percent off it should've been free.The place overall need to face lift!

Delicious food, fast and friendly service in a casual atmosphere. Love the oysters, salmon, steak, fish platter and cold beer!

Very good. The service was friendly and very good. The boiled shrimp was good. The oysters on half shell were amazing.. the grilled fish and shrimp covered in crawfish etouffee was absolutely amazing!!

Food is good, & wait staff is nice!!! . They have many food choices not just seafood items!!!

Service was okay. The strawberry margarita was phenomenal. The food was decent. I had the chicken fried steak. Will be back for the margs!

Food good. Service good.Ambiance? We usually eat here when we are in town but we ate here on a Sunday night a few weeks ago and they weren't closing for two hours but sat us next to the kitchen. Someone in the kitchen started mopping the floors with a very strong chemical and the floor was sopping wet. He was wearing a mask, I'm sure due to the fumes, and the fumes just came out into the dining area. We asked to be moved. We were all getting nauseous. I think another couple asked to be moved as well. It was quite overwhelming and they should not have a seafood restaurant smelling like chemicals.

I ordered grilled Salmon last year and it was under cooked, even after sending it back to be corrected. Today I ordered the American shrimp cocktail. I was wondering why the texture was different so I cut into it. all raw!!! unbelievable!!!! I showed the server and she apologized. I assured her it wasn't her fault but let the cook see it

Ordered takeout. When my husband got home we were missing half our order and the food we did receive was wrong. When I called she blamed my husband for the mishap never one time an apology , she just wanted to talk over me the whole time.When I drove back to the restaurant, still not an apology. Just attitude while she was going through the food I had brought back. When she gave me the right order she told me there was more I had to pay, she tried to make me pay the 3$ difference for an order they messed up & after I had just drove all the way back to restaurant.Needless to say these people are not in the customer service business. Food sucked too.We won't be returning.

We live on a ranch 15 minutes from SEALAND La Grange. When we moved out here during Covid, we quickly realized that this was our go-to place for steaks and fried shrimp. Yes, there are other items there, but those are our favorites. I would order and pick up the food, and I have to say the order was always slightly wrong and a couple of times it was missing something; however, it was always good so, my mantra for Sealand is "always good, always wrong"!!
