Who doesn't like Wine down Wednesdays?! I stumbled upon this fabulous wine shop nestled in Highpark Village after work and I am so happy I did. They have an amazing selection of wines and wine accessories. You can grab a bottle off of the shelf and relax in the outside seating available. Don't worry if you don't finish, you can take it with you as they have corkage (with a fee ofc). There are also wine flights available which is what I opted for. The staff were so sweet and informative while providing excellent service. This is such a cute space to unWINE (hehe)!

If you're looking for a go-to wine spot this could be it! The staff is excited to help you find a bottle you'll like and you can even try some at the small bar area. They also do rotating wine flights and have a few outdoor seats to hang out at. Go check it out!

On the 5th day of Black History Month, my friends and I stopped by Seaboard Wine Warehouse during our visit to Raleigh and we're subjected to the rudest business owner I've ever encountered! On a scale of 1-10 I would rate her behavior a zero. We entered Seaboard Wine Warehouse and headed to the back of the warehouse for a tasting and we were told that we couldn't do a tasting because they already had 2 people doing a tasting and they changed the maximum capacity to 12 guests due to the pandemic. Well, after gazing around the room I counted 10ppl including us! I proceeded to say well we're under your 12 person limit that isn't posted anywhere in your wine shop or website. The owner then gave us a spiel about Covid-19 and being unmasked although she had 2 unmasked patrons sitting at the bar. We were dumbfounded. She proceeded to say we could purchase a bottle, but we couldn't drink it in her establishment. Then, her employee recommended a more "hipster or black friendly" wine establishment for us. Never have I ever experienced this type of blatant racism. I wish the owner would have just said, hey I can't service 6 black girls at once because it's not the image we are going for here a seaboard. Instead of "pretending" it was a fear of CoVid-19! Because if that was the case we could have all produced our vaccine cards.

We found the wine warehouse online and decided to stop for a look around and a glass of wine. The location seemed ideal for this establishment, ample parking, outdoor seating and a restaurant next door. They have wine from all over the country, their selection would give total wine a run for their money. I was very impressed with the vast selection as well as the knowledge of those working there. Unfortunately they did not sell wine from the corner of country I was inquiring about but I did find a petit sirah with the help of the wonderful gentlemen I was talking with. They do have a very good wine menu by the glass or they also serve flights. We did state a few to pick a winner and stayed for a glass outside at the table to enjoy the cool evening. They apparently host tastings as well as classes there also, I was very impressed and happy to find a place I will go to when the need to find something specific arises. Cheers!

Decided to go to Seaboard Wine Warehouse as part of a birthday girls trip. We were excited to try the establishment as the star rating on Yelp hyped it up. This excitement quickly changed as we were rudely greeted at the door by who I'm assuming to be an owner. Coming from a mask mandated State we were all prepared to keep our facial masks on our person, and entered with them on. My cousin was adjusting her face mask and was verbally accosted by one of the women in charge. After the harsh greeting, we were then told that we were unable to be serviced due to Covid and other new rules that had not been posted on the door or store website(we always check businesses online prior to patronizing). We asked about their tasting procedures but the owner kept citing Covid and not being able to serve us, even though other patrons were maskless and being serviced at the bar. Coming from a state that had/has strict Covid guidelines we understand procedures, but also coming from the business model, there was no opportunity to think outside of the box to support future patrons. Had the owner offered a solution, such as, due to my capacity, I can do tastings in sections, or I can suggest you guys be on a wait and when the party leaves, we can best accommodate, or even offer some top selling wines to purchase to go. None of those scenarios took place, instead, we were ran out of an establishment with the feeling that because we were African American women that we weren't deserving of service or worth a bottle of wine.

This is in a plaza and there's a ton of parking near the establishment. It's a cute wine shop with a great selection of vermouth, wines, and cocktail gifts. The wines are organized by countries. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the wines. In the back there's a wine tasting from around 12pm-4pm on Saturdays not sure about the other days. There was a free wine tastings with 3 whites and 3 red wines.Great location for trying new wines and they gift wrap the bottles for you around Christmas for an additional fee.

I really loved this spot when they were in Downtown Raleigh at Seaboard Station but love them even more that they're in Five Points now! When the manfriend is at High Park, I can belly up to the tasting bar and enjoy new-to-me bottles by the glass with Corbett and crew. They have a huge retail selection and accessible price points for every style. Doggo friendly, too!

I attended a wine tasting event and all of the wines featured were Spanish box wine. At first I thought oh god this is going to be like the boxed wine Franzia that we drank in college. I was amazed how great these wines were.i ended up buying four boxes of wine. The boxes are more like recycled cartons but it has no effect on the taste... At least not mine since I drank them within a few days, lol. The people that work there are amazing too! They were super patient with my questions and gave me a thorough rundown on each wine I tasted. The store is beautifully organized with every type of wine you can think of. I also bought some handy plastic wine glasses for the summer. I learned they've been open for years and independently own which is nice.I've been back twice already and suggest you try them out next time you're looking to buy wine!

Great selection but... if any of the following are true you are golden: you are in their wine club; they know you; you look and/or act rich and are buying a case of wine, they will fall all over you. If you are an average looking schlub (like yours truly) and just want to be in and out and buy a single average priced bottle of wine don't except much in the way of attention or service.

While on a girl's trip in Raleigh, my friends and I stopped at Seaboard Wine Warehouse for a "tasting." Needless, to say we couldn't taste anything and we couldn't even make it to the tasting area after the owner and her employee rudely stopped us in our tracks. We expressed that we were there for a tasting for 6 people, and the belligerent owner proceeded to say that she couldn't accommodate us although there were only 2 people at the bar. Instead of her being solution based and asking us if we could maybe do the tasting in groups of three she quickly tried to usher us out of her establishment. We frequent wineries and vineyards very often and I have never encountered this type of experience. It was disheartening that she was so unwelcoming.
