Quick summary: Overpriced and lackluster. Would not recommend.Arrived and was seated fairly quickly, but that's about the best thing I can say about my experience.After placing an order, and waiting... And waiting... And waiting... And waiting... Our tables order comes out - well half of it. Then comes the other half of the table, which is prepared incorrectly. We know it was entered on the ticket correctly, because they later tried to bill for what the other people at our table originally ordered but never actually got.As for the shrimp platter I had - lackluster. Over fried and underseasoned. Mac and cheese side was again, lackluster. French fries were actually fairly decent.Whomever wrote that this was the best seafood boil they ever had was either paid for their review, has never had a seafood boil before, or literally has no tastebuds. Let me be clear - it is not good.I feel bad for our server who was obviously struggling with whatever was going on in the kitchen and the slow pace.

This place offers some really crazy good soul food with a southern twist! And I love it! What I like about this place is that it is open late at night and it's right off the highway. If you're ever hungry and you're around town I would recommend this establishment!

Food was amazing! Highly recommend the Seafood Spud and the Salmon BLT. Hush puppies and corn as sides were solid.

Wow. Great southern cooking with friendly staff. We both had their flounder dinner, which came with two sides and hush puppies. The food came out fresh, hot and quick. The fries were seasoned perfectly- best fries we've had in a long time. The hush puppies were also fantastic. Cole slaw and collard greens also score a big thumbs up. And nice sized flounder fillets with a perfect corn meal coating and fried to perfection. Our waitress refilled our sodas several times and was very nice. Atmosphere is casual. Definitely worth a visit

Just had one of the best cheeseburgers I have had in this area. Seasoned perfectly and cooked to medium rare just the way I like it. I opted for the Cole slaw that was a little rough cut for my liking, but tasty. I had to pass on the French fries so I could try the sweet tea...it was delicious and refreshing. I'll definitely be going back to try other items on the menu.

I was not prepared for how good this food was. Everything the waitress recommended was excellent. I had the fried flounder platter with red potatoes, collard greens, and the mac and cheese. My husband had the surf and turf spud and we were so impressed by how hard the chef worked we asked if he could come out so we could compliment him. Everything was fresh and seasoned perfectly. I wish I had pictures but we dug in and couldn't stop eating until we were full.

Best shrimp tacos I've ever had. Everything here literally soothes the souls. Game changer and I'm from coastal California and this place is the top of the chain. Amazing team working here and great music! Lots of love! Yum!Best service ever!

Only been there once. Food was very good. Service was very poor. Ambiance was okay. I'd return, my wife is not so gracious.

I have eaten here 4 times. Each was nothing special. The photo attached is the most recent, it was a crab dip we got. $20.00 for this dip. It was sub par, the flavor was plain, not one chunk of crab, in fact it tasted like spinach dip from a can. The first time was a seafood boil. For $50.00 it was cold and it tasted like everything was cooked plain and thrown in flavored water. Each item was flavorless. At the fair we got the shrimp fries which were good but for the price the were selling them($18.00) I thought I should get more then 4 shrimp. Overall it's a rip off. You want sea food go to one of the places in Morehead city that gives you your moneys worth. To the owners: stop being stingy with the food. You can change the outrageous prices for seafood and then give no seafood and just fill the plates with fillers. We New Bern locals are disappointed in you. On the good side I will say the owners and workers are nice and good people.

Food was amazing!! Everything was great, hot and fresh! This place is not overpriced like every other restaurant. Staff was super nice! We will definitely be visiting here more often!
