If I could give this place 6 stars I would! My baby sister and I love getting boba together, being in San Diego we decided to give SD Boba Tea since it was also the first place to pop up on our yelp search. Taro Cold Brew 4.8/5...a little skeptical on this drink because I've never heard of a taro cold brew but once I tasted it, IT WAS AMAZING! Definitely would order this drink again Thai ice tea snow drink with mochi and boba (ALL BOBA DRINKS SHOULD BE WITH BOBA ) 5/5Mangolicious speciality drinkAvocado shake (Filipinos out there, this is your typical Filipino dessert, the bowl of avocado and milk with sugar. Bomb!) 4.5/5Liege Belgium Waffle with condensed milk and ube ice cream 5/5... SOOO BOMBBBB my family ate most it before I could get to it Brick toast with Nutella, caramel, and strawberries...Haven't had brick toast in a long time, but this reminded how delicious and per this dessert is!!

This place is mediocre & has too much hype surrounding it. I've been here plenty of times throughout the years. They have so many menu items it's overwhelming. Limited parking & always long wait times. I've tried a few different recommended drinks but none of them were good if I'm being honest. Just been trying to find a drink that I truly like here but haven't yet. Their strawberry cream is probably the best one I've had yet & it's comparable to a milky strawberry Nesquik drink. I've had their brick toast w/ ice cream, condensed milk, bananas, & almonds which was really good. I've also tried their chicken nuggies & jalapeno poppers. The jalapeno poppers were huge but weren't that great. I've had better frozen chicken nuggets from the supermarket before. Their macaron ice creams are good. Their recommended drinks that I didn't like - lilikoi blended w/ boba, blueberry banana smoothie w/ boba, honeydew snow bubble w/ boba (how can you mess up honeydew), okinawa w/ boba. Inside is very small with many ppl lining up at the door, barely any seating. They have outside seating as well. The music is always blaring & you can barely hear anything. Will I come back? Probably, but not my boba establishment of choice. Lol. Also, on my last visit - I ordered ahead of time since I know how long & weary the lines/wait times could be. It was close to closing. When I went to pick up my order 20mins later, it was never made. There was no line & they were closing up. I waited there 15-20mins after closing because I had ordered food items. Then they threw the boba for the day away. So my order wasn't even completely fulfilled. What's the point of placing an over the phone order if I'm going to have to wait just as long for them to make it anyways. Smh.

Note: There are 2 locations in the same plaza. The one closest to Manila Sunset is where you get ice cream. The one next to Nina's is where you get boba, food/snacks, desserts, and merch.Met up with some friends after work yesterday and there was ample parking. The shop wasn't too crowded, however there was a constant stream of people that came through the entire time we were there. For seating, there are about 6-8 small tables inside and about 2-3 round tables outside. The staff we interacted with were all friendly and very helpful! They have quite an extensive menu, so take your time browsing; there are a lot of great options and combinations. For drinks they have teas, milk teas, slushes, snow, and coffee. For dessert they have crepes, brick toast, and waffles. For cold treats they have mochi ice cream and macaron ice cream sandwiches. For food/snacks, they have lots of finger food options such as: fries, onion rings, popcorn chicken, chicken wings, fried cheese curds, etc. Lastly, they have different kind of boba themed items for sale near the register.Ordering went smoothly and our items came out fairly quick. Everything tasted great, but we were confused why we were asked if we wanted our items for here or to go, and everything was made to go. Overall, we all had a good time and will definitely be coming back!

Another good Boba spot located in small shopping center in National City off Plaza Blvd. Parking can be challenging at times. Delicious taro snow and smoothie drinks. Boba is super fresh! They also offer some food item as well

Came for dessert after some dinner elsewhere! I ended up getting the mochi, which they have a huge variety of flavors. Unfortunately they do not get very much service with this so they all had a freezer burn. My friends got boba here and said that it was much better. The shop itself is small and a little cramped but there are board games to play!

I didn't love my drink here today (honeydew snow). I ordered it at 50% sweetness but it was super sweet. I wonder if they just forgot to halve the amount of sweetener or if their 100% is really that much sweeter. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but it didn't really impress me. I like to believe that I know my way around a boba shop, but I found their menu confusing and all over the place. I wasn't brave enough to try some of their more experimental flavors like taro captain crunch, but I guess I do give them credit for innovating.

Average boba. Was decent but not great. There are many other boba shops that are better but also many that are worse so average. I do like how they do the green apple in the snow form and not slush. I'd maybe be back if in this area and wanting boba but I don't get to this area that often

I'm not a big fan of boba in general, but I do come here as my go to spot. The drinks are always beyond amazing here and I do recommend this place to any and everyone.as for ambiance, the place is small so waiting outside is the best idea when it's busy.Downfall: they wait can take a bit even when it's not busy, Ive had to wait 10-15 minutes for two drinks a couple timesOverall rating: 8 of 10.

I got the Captain Crunch with boba due to a TikTok Tok review. It's as good as they say and brings back childhood memories. My wife loves the Ferrero Roche chocolate with boba. I am definitely going for the taro versions next visit. The service is on point. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Atmosphere is homey and I saw some table games for play sitting in the corner. So much to choose from drinks to comfort food.
