Schulze Bar-B-Que & Catering

First time in Rosenberg. Went to Schulz'e Bar-B-Que. I ordered chopped brisket. They put in on a bun and it was more like eating a Sloppy Joe! They scooped it out of a pan saturated in barbecue sauce. Then they asked if we needed some more barbecue sauce, Heck no! My words were nice. I'm 69 years old and ever chopped beef sandwich I've ever ordered, and that's been hundreds, they chop it up in front of you and place it on a bun. You later add as much barbecue sauce as you need. Not my beef soaked in barbecue sauce and dipped out like sloppy Joe with a large spoon! Couldn't taste the chopped beef!

It had been a very long time since we had visited Schulze. I ordered at the last minute lunch whick included 2 racks of ribs, quarts of potato salad, cole slaw, bbq beans, and desserts. I arrived at the time promised and my order was neatly packed and ready for me. The service was excellent. At home with food was oh, so good. Everything was delicious and the ribs were tender. The potato salad was very good, usually we are disappointed with the potato salad but not this time. We will be ordering from them again. I highly recommend Schulze.

I've been coming to Schultze BBQ for over 20 years. This used to be my go to BBQ place because I love their sauce (a sweet Memphis style) and they are close to my parents house. However, I have become less enthusiastic about Schultze over the last few years. My first issue was that their quality and serving sizes had been dwindling but the last straw as the fact that they charged me extra to put BBQ on the side. I did not ask for extra, just that they put the sauce that would have been on the sandwich anyways in a small container in the to go bag so that my sandwich was not soggy when I got home. Goodbye Schultze, I'm going to Swinging doorSide note: the new buttered brioche buns are nice in theory but all I could taste was the bun. Smoked meat is normally a strong flavor but that bun overpowered the flavor of the meat and sauce.

Went for lunch got the half chicken. Pretty good I liked the sauce. Portions were pretty good for sides. The price was the best for bbq! I'll be back. Old school bbq feel in the inside I personally like that!

So disappointed . The last 2 times we went through the drive-thru, orders were wrong. Today ordered extra sauce on the side and got home and had very little meat and a lot of fat on dry bun and no extra sauce. Nasty!Used to be a good place to eat!

We had brunch on Saturday and it was very good and the service was great. DJ was very nice and helpful, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I will definitely be going back soon !!!

Uhmmm. I just wanted some peach cobbler. For $4 this is what I got. I moreso am a fan of the crust not so much the peaches but this was wayyy below my expectations. Yikes!

I has the Baked potato with brisket off the board. Very delicious plate with clean bathrooms

Best bbq place in Rosenberg!! I always use them for catering when I have an event. They cool the best Briscuit. They make it just right!

Great hometown restaurant. Love the flavor and variety of their food. I've been eating here for years and I'm never disappointed
