Ordered a sandwich with no mayo. When it came out, you could see the mayo on the tomatoes. The employee took the sandwich back, and brought it back out a minute later with different tomatoes (both of which were the ends of the tomato) but there was still mayo on the meat! This could have been easily corrected and they'd have had a thankful customer, but instead they chose to ignore the real issue. I won't be back.

Normally I don't put up the review! But this place service is so bad. The order taker was rudest and had bad customer services. Took the kids there after school and ordered loaded potatoes soup and French dip sandwich! When we got home and there was no French dip sauce in the bag and no potatoes soup either. Then I called and she said do you want to come back and get it? What kind of customer services is this??? Will not going back again!!!!

You all have an easy job, EASY. Clean the place, double clean the veggies, inspect the food, and serve food. Seriously what is so hard about that? When you serve food, make sure there aren't any insects attached to the veggies, the meat is not bad, etc. Inspect the freaking food, you all have eyes!!! I can understand a hair, but a nasty worm hanging from the lettuce?!! Yes. I found a worm attached to the lettuce. The lettuce is purple and you can easily see the damn thing. Therefore, it is obvious that whoever prepared the sandwich didn't take the time to wash the veggies and inspect the food. I can just imagine what other nasty crap goes on their food. Never, ever, ever again will I go to this place. My husband talked to the manager (she didn't even come talk to him at first, he had to tell her to come and address the customer) Yamir? She looks middle eastern. She had the audacity to tell my husband "it's comes in the salad, it was just in the salad". So, to whoever the owner of this place is or GM, she clearly doesn't care about your business, sanitation, and the customers' well being.

My go- to sandwich: ham & cheese original without the olive spread and red onions. If you aren't a fan of olives, I would suggest asking for it in the side or without it. Their olive spread is unique and tiny bits of olive that are pretty much impossible to take off if you don't like olives. The big appeal of Schlotzsky's is their unique freshly made sourdough bread. It's airy and delicious! However, if you don't like it then you kinda miss the point of this sandwich shop.I've also tried their pizza (bbq) and flatbread (California avocado) and although they are yummy, it's pretty pricey for what you get. I mean $9 for a tiny pizza when you can twice the size at Pizza Hut. It's more for families who need the variety but definitely wouldn't come here for just pizza. Wednesday's are their BOGO pizza so it's reasonably priced then but wouldn't pay full price. Restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. Lots of window and light, even with some outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. Service is nice and attentive. They almost always get my order right, and it doesn't take too long at lunch time. Overall, good sandwiches especially the bread but can be a little pricey with some of their other items.

This location on University Boulevard in Sugar Land is horrible! The employees don't even seem interested in looking at you. They're all staring at their phones. The place was dirty trash on the floor. The door knobs were sticky into the restroom, bathroom was dirty. The drink station was dirty, bread was old. Management needs a serious overhaul at this location!

My dad loves this place so we came for lunch. He got the veggie on rye and enjoyed it. He also enjoyed the decor of this place. I got the veggie supreme pizza. It was good and enough for me. This place was clean and we got our order quickly.

Bread on sandwiches always seems to be dry & stale. Not as good as other stores. Have tried this place quite a few times, hoping it was just an off one, but no. Bread is always dry & stale tasting.

Not sure how this place can be so bad. Its a chain but it is always awful. Wrong orders. Broken soda fountain, stale bread, rude. The Schlotzskys futher north on 59 next to Home Depot is fantastic. Super clean, friendly, get orders correct. Obviously completely different chain owner.

I went here Because Schlotzsky's always has great original sandwiches. This was the worst sandwich I've ever had. Put together wrong and a big mess. Not cheap either. I'll never go there again. I wondered why it wasn't busy as they normally are at lunchtime at other Schlotzsky's. Now I know.

Came here 30 minutes before closing so I knew they were going to be upset about dirtying the kitchen again. My daughter noticed the male employee taking our order was less than thrilled we were there. I watched the female employee make her sandwich. It finished coming through the toaster and she came over with a dirty rag in her hand, put it down, and then picked up the food off the conveyer belt. No switching of gloves or washing hands. After she finished making the sandwich she picked up the rag and wiped down the counter. The male employee handed me the bag and I said "Thank you," but he said NOTHING.
