If I didn't live so far & my work schedule allowed me to travel during business hours, I'd eat here everyday! This is a newer soul food spot but it is definitely underrated. I usually get the jerk wings, Mac (literally tastes straight out of my oven), & string beans. I've had a few other things on the menu and they've been all hits, no misses. I've heard their brunch is phenomenal as well but again, I can never make it because of the distance. I've been eating here since they opened. I don't understand how some others are giving such poor ratings, maybe I'd suggest coming earlier in the day for the best service and not during closing time.

I've been here three times because I love the food! Lol video came across my TikTok while I was a work and I got off early just to head to Philly! On my first visit I got jerk chicken wings, Mac, yams and my daughter got shrimp(which is $1 per shrimp on Thursday) with Mac & cheese. Second visit I got a burger (which is $10 on Friday's btw) with fries, and my daughter got the shrimp again lol I also bought my mom down who got two platters! Third visit I literally just left there lol I got salmon, greens and seafood salad! I really love this place and will continue to support!! The owner is named Shakar, customer service is always awesome!

very unprofessional people at this restaurant . my salmon was over cooked. I got wings they forgot to add my sauce on mywings and then when i asked about the sauce on my wings the waiter told me no he could not add it because they was closing and he wasn't watching the prepmake my food so he gave it to me in a little container. At this point i was ready to go because how can you not accommodate your customers. Then I said never again willi order from here the young man going to say " never again you will order from here I said yeah that's what i said. He said "holla" I just left because it's no way you'll treat your customer this. The food was horrible. The rice didn't have no taste at all. The greens was bland, chicken still had hair on it. My salmon was over cooked and he never added my sauce on my salmon when I showed him the picture of how I wanted my food. He toldme they were closing and He was trying to get out and close up. Horrible Place. Poor customer service!

Ate from here for the first time. I ordered the platter with 4 fried chicken wings, Mac n cheese and yams. The yams were perfect, Mac n cheese had curdled cheese so I couldn't eat that after tasting it, and the wings were ok just basic fried wings nothing so great. Not sure if I'd eat from here again.
