Savona KOP is a bit outside the main town. Somewhere i drive by all the time getting on I-76. On an impulsive online purchase, i signed up for a $170 rose wine tasting, 6 courses with 6 wines, the wines were all interesting and the sommelier-led discussions lively. We started with Cremant (like champagne but any other grape from France) and moved through fruity, floral, full bodied wine, and ended with a sweet dessert wine. The food paired well to highlight the wine, and the standout was the BBQ quail. The pours were generous and I came back for my car the next day.So I may as well stay for lunch. Eggplant parm was amazing, a whole eggplant crushed, breaded and fried. The center was rich and edges were crispy. The soggy american version is ruined for me forever.

You know a restaurant is good when it gets through a recession & a pandemic. It's old school and contemporary at the same time. Cocktail menu is limited but what they serve was delicious. Menu is unique and has a nice variety of foods which seem to change seasonally. We loved the artichoke appetizer and the house and arugula salad. The scallops were cooked perfectly and came on a corn succotash. The limoncello panacotta was light, refreshing and decadent all in one bite! Service was attentive but not pushy. Also appreciate that there was no charge to split the entree.

We had a nice team dinner at Savona on a Tuesday evening. First impressions are 'local gem', beautiful building and nicely appointed inside. Service is professional (maybe a little overly, a smile or sign of personality would have been nice too). You have no choice but to valet your car despite the huge parking lot - ironically, you have to carefully navigate a tight alleyway of junk on your way out. Maybe the valet station is in the wrong place. The downstairs cellar and dungeon bathrooms are unique. Beverage program is well thought through and ties nicely with the menu - which seems Italian-ish + American. They sat our incomplete party (4 of 6), and while drinks were flowing, we were not permitted to order any apps - that 'professional' service sternly informed us that the entire order needed to be entered together. Fine. Eventually everyone sat and the order went in. The food was done very well, and timing was comfortable. For starters, we had the oysters, a pizza, calamari and octopus - all very good. For a main, I had the Berkshire porterhouse chop, which was over cooked, but otherwise well seasoned and delicious. We were not offered a temp option. Deserts were good - I regret not doing a cheese course, maybe next time. We had a round at the bar on the way out - despite constantly being in the way of everyone, it eventually quieted down enough to enjoy some conversation with our party. I would recommend Savona and will go back for sure if in the area.

The ambiance was incredible and the service was amazing. The food was great. My favorite was the grilled octopus. My friend does a gluten-free diet and they were very accommodating. For dessert, I had a coconut creme brule and it was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I've passed this restaurant a million times and always said I would try it. Well today was the day and fortunately I made a reservation because they were hosting a private event in the main section of the restaurant. The customer service was amazing as everyone greeted us with a smile. It wasn't a special occasion however it has been awhile since I've taken my mom out to dinner. The quality of the food was amazing as everything was fresh and delicious.

Always have an amazing meal at Savona. Valet parking. Reasonable pricing and great portion sizes. Big date night or nice occasion spot. Outdoor seating available and bar seating besides restaurant. Also came for main line restaurant week and delicious then as well. The steak and seasoning was delicious. The rigatoni bolognese was great. Duck looked fantastic. Apple budino is a must order. The table bread also super tasty and comes with olive oil but you can ask for butter.

Savona's was a lovely dining experience with great customer service and friendly staff. The atmosphere was a little on the loud side and the lighting was dim. Overall the food was delicious, unique, and very rich. I would even say the food was too rich but that's just my opinion. Definitely worth trying. We had the octopus and a couple of other appetizers, followed by Rohan Duck Breast and Mafaldine as entrees, with the caramel crunch brownie for dessert. The Mafaldine was delicious but again one of the more rich in taste options. Hope this was helpful! P.S. not sure if there was only one restroom but it was a little inconvenient.

My family and I came here last night to celebrate a friend's birthday, and it was just as fabulous as our last experience! The ambiance is modern and classy. It really is a great spot for a special night out, but they also have great apps/pizzas so you could just come sit at the bar for a more casual vibe. They change there menu seasonally, which means there is always something new to try! The bread for the table is SO GOOD! I love the olive oil they put with it and the texture is perfect. For starters, we shared the shrimp cocktail, calamari, and fried artichokes! All were 5 stars. I actually liked the sauce that came with the artichokes the best and was dipping my calamari in it! For my entree, I had the risotto, which came with jumbo lump crab, and almost a Mexican style spicy salsa. It was delicious! I ate every bit and would definitely order this again. Everyone loved their meals and we shared the caramel crunch brownie. If you are a chocolate/caramel lover, you need to try this dessert! It was so good and the crunchy bits really made it.I look forward to coming back and seeing what they bring for their fall/winter menus!

Stopped in for the first time to try their Pizza.Sat at the bar, ordered a glass of wine and a 10-in pizza with the house meatballs, ricotta cheese, and asked to have mushrooms added. It was okay not too hot, not really Neapolitan not much structure. Menu price was $22 and I figured I'd get an upcharge for the mushrooms. Turns out they charged me 14 extra dollars for a handful of mushrooms which, by the way is what they charge for a side of mushrooms for an entree. So this was a $36 Pizza $14 class of wine $50 plus taxI didn't think it would be cheap but I didn't think I was going to get overcharged. In and out in less than 45 minutes..

The problem is the food is not that great for the prices charged. Additionally, and the reason for this review, is the arrogance of telling guests they cannot order apps until the entire party is seated. 2 of our guests were delayed 20 mins and while awaiting their arrival we asked to order apps. The waitress said the chef wants all table orders placed at one time. The server continued on that they had several large parties so the kitchen could not deal with preparing apps without the complete dinner order.Arrogance for food that's sub par.No longer a fan and no longer will we choose Savona, for ourselves and for recommendations,
