This is a late night review. I was meeting a friend for a late caching up session. Well let me tell you the fries and beers made for a great social lubricant! The fries are delicious and you should eat a lot of them. Also buy local beer (just as a general rule). I wish I had been here during regular meal time so I could have tried more food! The only thing that I did not care for was the beer and ice cream combo. It just didn't gel. But I am glad I tried it.

Been a while since my last visit, but when we were seeking food in the area with outdoor dining and a youngun, I didn't want us to be foraging for lunch at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. It would be almost as bad as taking them to Maggiano's when they could easily visit that chain back at home, and the North End was only a short drive away. They opened at 11:30am for lunch. Each adult got a sandwich for $11.50 or less, and we made two of them a meal for $4 extra for a side of fries and a choice of sauce. A creamy clam chowder from Union Oyster House next door came with corn bread and butter for the kid, and we were more than satisfied. We even fed the sparrows and pigeons some of our fries that fell off the tray, and leftover bread from our seats in the pandemic patio.Food was brought out to us outside, but we brought our trays back in, and we grabbed napkins, plastic utensils after placing our order at the counter. They also provided plastic cups that we filled with water from the jug.The bacon Parm and the roasted garlic mayo were both great dipping sauce options. The southern crispy chicken sandwich (scallion slaw, dill pickles & pimento-cheddar mayo) juicy and quite filling. Fries, chicken ($11 sandos, nuggets $8 for 6 or $15 for 12) and bratwurst $10 seems to be their thing now... no more waffles.A bathroom is available downstairs to the right.

This is a hidden gem in the restaurant rich downtown Boston area. It's a no frills sandwich shop offering some of the tastiest burgers and sandwiches with over 15 varieties of must have sauces. They also have canned beer and wine to pair with food. We ordered the chef's special with impossible patty and Cajun sauce, kimchi fried chicken sandos, and 2 beer floats. The Cajun sauce was the uncontested highlight of the meal and the Kimchi burger was equally delicious! The chef's special was good but I'd rank it lower than the kimchi burger. Fries are average (not very crispy unfortunately). They had a wide selection of unique ice cream flavors for the beer float and we opted for pistachio and maple rum. Beer floats were a refreshing change overall and went well with the burger and sandwich each. It's not a full service restaurant and we had to go to the counter to place the order and leave the dirty utensils at their designated place. The plates are reusable but the cutlery and glasses are all disposable. There were no spoons when we went and the staff had to go to the store to get spoons for us. She came to our table to provide the spoon and came back again to check if we liked the food. For a no frills place, this level of service was great! There is limited seating here with 3 regular tables and 1 high top table, seating about 10-15 people in total. The place was busy with a few folks waiting for tables and constant flow of delivery folks to pick up takeout. Overall, it's a cozy place with good food and must try sauces. Recommend. P.S. they sell sauces in jars as well to take home.

Flavors - 3/5Textures - 3/5Presentation - 2.5/5Value for Money - 3/5Would return? No I tried their Classic Crispy, boasting bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheddar, and roasted garlic mayo. Upon first glance, the subpar quality of ingredients was evident, though the portion size was reasonable for the price. The sandwich reminded me more of a burger. While the chicken itself was flavorful, reminiscent of a tasty smashed burger patty, it was noticeably thin and unfortunately overcooked. The cheese was just there for decoration. While I didn't hate it and certainly edible, it failed to live up to the standards.I'm left questioning its popularity and its rating, which seems disproportionate to much better spots out there.

Honestly this is one of my new favorite sandwich shops! Their chicken sandwiches are on par (even better in my opinion) than popeye's/chick-fil-a's chicken sandwiches and for a couple reasons. Their chicken is flavorful and juicy and their buns have a crunch and flavor to them similar to a baguette Complete with roasted garlic mayo (i love garlic), bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, this sando was so unique that it has beat all other chicken sandos They have a variety of sauces to choose from if you order fries (which were SO CRISPY and i loved how there were salt flakes on top for extra texture). The secret saus and roasted garlic mayo were my favorites! The all-american burger was my favorite though Made with american cheese, iceberg lettuce, secret saus, tomato, pickles, and mushroom. This burger more than satisfied my cravingWhile this location had salad options (chicken nuggets, hot dogs, and poutine too!) there's another Saus location in Bow Market Somerville, MA and it's menu is all vegetarian‼

We came upon this place looking for a quick bite before returning home. They have some fun options. My sister and I got the Regular Poutine and Speciaal burger. It was good but the food was luke-warm to cool and that was weird. The special sauce was okay, not really that great. The cheese curds on the poutine really need to not be super cold and that could be a much better dish.Service was great

I think this is a really cute restaurant and I had really high expectations. However, it just wasn't what I expected it to be in terms of the sauce that I wanted and the taste of the fries.

Decent option downtown for good American food. Good prices and good food. I really like the chicken sandwiches, the brat, fries/poutine of course, and sauces. The burgers are just ok, better options around. They have alcohol which is nice. Best sauce is the bacon parm, pimento, and the ketchup is truffley and great!I miss the pearl sugar waffles they use to have!

Saus was recommended to us by some friends and we had to have a little pre-dinner snack here. We came around 6:30 on a Thursday evening and we were able to sit at a table and order quickly. For 5People, we got a large fry with ranch and Sambal sauce. We also got a beer flight which had some great options. These fires were absolutely stellar!!! Crispy, hot and delicious and well priced. The large was massive and perfect for sharing. Their ranch was delicious and creamy. The spicy sambal had just enough heat to provide some balance. Saus was delicious and I would believe their sandwiches would be delicious as well. Would definitely recommend based on the French fries alone which is saying a lot! The wait staff was also really nice and open to providing sauce recommendations which was great.

For a quick weekday dinner, I had a craving for poutine. Arriving at 530 on a Friday afternoon, I was able to order immediately w/o any wait. I received my order of the big poutine w/classic gravy ($9.75) and bacon strips (+$3.5) within 5 minutes. The poutine itself seemed reasonably portioned, though the "big" description seemed generous. The price sans add-ons also looked decent, but could quickly balloon. The gravy needs to be thicker and the poutine needs more of it. Being served in a bowl, I expected the gravy to pool at the bottom. However, the gravy only sufficed for the top.
