Food was amazing, drinks were strong but I'm not complaining Great vibe in this place for sure. It's connected to a huge liquor store which we thought was pretty cool.Lindsey G was attentive and very easy going. Made us laugh a couple times which we enjoy.Highly recommend this place if you're looking for Italian.

We heard this place was newer and we were looking for somewhere different to eat. I also heard it had great GF options. We called to see if we had to make reservations, the kid on the phone said "yes absolutely". He really struggled to take my phone number down. I had to tell him 7 times at least what my number was. We arrived for our reserved time to fun only about 3 other groups in the place. We really didn't need reservations. I skimmed the menu, asked for some tips on the GF menu, and as told the crust on the GF pizza was like cardboard and very hard to eat. So I went with a pasta dish. It sounded amazing. When it arrived it barely had any food in the bowl. And it was suppose to have sausage, it was more like the scraps left over on the bottom of the pan when you cook your sausage. There was maybe two cups worth of pasta in that bowl and it was $38. Not worth it for the amount of food you got. My husband got the margarita pizza. He got the normal one, not GF. He was pretty disappointed in it as well. He said the crust was like a GF crust on his, hard and crunchy and zero flavor. It is a very overpriced place for what you get. I feel like they are trying to be an upper scale Italian restaurant but they don't even give you bread or anything to start with. Why is it called "Sauce on the Rocks". We really thought they might offer some kind of bread bowl with a bunch of different sauces as a starter. Nope! Nothing .We won't return.

We went and tried out this restaurant on day 11 after they opened and discovered another great place to go for a treat. The Family Penne Alla Gorgonzola was delicious. The noodles were done right and the sauce was flavorful.Their list of spirits was extensive and I saw a couple of rare items on there to try. Finally, comes dessert. If I told you how good the homemade tiramisu was, you'd be mad because you'd want some. I won't go into the layers of flavor and texture at all here.

This is part of a group that owns about 12 restaurants. They are famous up in Silverthorne and Breckenridge area. The ambience was nice. The food was amazing. Will definitely be giving for a run for the money. The service was good. But they were a little bit understaffed. Which is to be expected when they are new. we definitely go back. We started with the fried artichokes, as well as a small Cesar. And then shared the chicken Alfredo . Huge portions..,

My family and I dined here on Saturday, July 6, not sure how long the restaurant has been open but it was quiet at 6:30 on a Saturday night. Normally, I would be concerned about that, however, there was a very nice back bar and spirits selection. Not something you would normally see in a restaurant that isn't doing well.We were promptly greeted and seated. Our server came over quickly and asked if we had been to a Sauce before. She then mentioned that this location had just recently opened, and hadn't had a grand opening yet only a soft opening. She then explained the specials and took our drink order. We ordered both the cheesy garlic bread and bruschetta as a starter. They were both very good. My family and I all ordered different mains, and they all came out quickly, fresh, and hot. The sauce/gravy was homemade as there were odd cuts of veggies. Nothing processed or from a can.We finished with tiramisu which was also clearly made in-house and it was excellent.Overall the portions are large, when the menu says that a single would feed 1-2 it means it. The staff was super friendly, drinks were excellent as well. While not a cheap night out this would easily be a couple of times per month location to go out and enjoy. If you're sad because another Littleton-based Italian joint doesn't take reservations, and is all the way over by Aspen Grove. Don't hesitate, to make a reservation and come to Sauce on the Rocks, better food, better wine.

We had several items on the menu all were very tasty the price is a bit high but there is not a lot of competition out this was also they are trying for a more upscale vibe the steak fillet was worth getting again. Our waiter was on the refills !

I really wanted to like this place. And the food tasted good. But it was definitely not worth the price. My very weak plain iced tea was $5.00!! And I had to ask for a refill despite my empty glass sitting on the edge of the table for 20 minutes. The caprese salad was delicious, but $17 for three tomato slices and three mozzarella slices was ridiculous. Be careful if you are ordering from the happy hour menu, as those items are different than the items on the regular menu, so you have to specify. Overall, $50 for two appetizers and a plain iced tea is just too steep for me. I'll stick to happy hour at Angelo's!
