Sassano's

Had a work function and ordered from here for my team. It was really easy to have each person order individually on the site and submit all as one order. The site even allowed you to set a limit per person. I went with the Prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato, and basil sandwich with a bag of salt and vinegar chips. It was really good! The roll was fresh and still warm and the sandwich itself was so delicious! I will definitely be ordering from there again for our next team event.

This place is awesome. They work really limited hours from Tuesday-Friday 10-4 but their sandwiches are delicious. Everything feels homemade, and they have pasta& sauce refrigerated so you can take it home. The also offer soup of the day, and I loved that as well.

I love sassano sandwiches. It's one the restaurants that I love the vegetarian options more than the meat options. I'm starting to appreciate places that can cook and make delicious food with just veggies over meat. Meat has its own flavor and juices which doesn't need any help... Places that perfect food with non meat products? It's where you need to go. So, speaking of which, this local gem serves an amazing eggplant sandwich. I hate eggplants on it's own but man... I've tried chicken parm and meatballs but, this eggplant sandwich is by far the most flavorful; I honestly didn't even know it was eggplant until I read the ingredients. It's got an initial sweet crunchy bite followed by a spicy kick that lingers a bit. When you keep eating, the flavors overlap each other and it becomes magic. Everything here is high quality, fresh, and delicious. I'll grab a sandwich for lunch (best meatballs around) and usually pick up some fresh pasta and one of the frozen sauce containers to make for dinner. Can't recommend highly enough!

I love Sassano's. They do lunch, catering, and fresh pasta and they do it very well. For lunch, they have a simple menu of sandwiches and salads and usually have a special sandwich and soup(s) of the day.My husband always orders the Chicken Cultet sandwich with sharp provolone and broccoli rabe. I try to switch it up but my usual suspects are the Spicy Eggplant Sandwich or the Arugula Salad. I recently tried the tuna salad sandwich with long hots and it will certainly be added to my rotation.The rolls that they use (or make) are really good. We always order their fresh pasta for hosting special occassions at our house. They also have to-go meals if you don't want to cook dinner. I haven't tried those yet but I'm sure they are delicious just like their lunches.Try it, you'll love it!

Absolutely FANTASTIC. I stumbled upon this place and I'm so happy I did. Minestrone soup was the best I've ever had. The owner is incredibly kind and knew most of the patrons by name. I will be back!

Sassano's is probably one of my absolute favorite spots to get lunch during the work week. I work nearby and am SO happy colleagues recommended it!They do house made pastas and other items you can pick up to take home for dinner, take out (or eat in, but it is a small place with only a few tables), take out, and catering!I am amazed at how incredible their sandwiches are! My top 2 are: 1. Fried Eggplant, Ricotta, Spicy Tomato Sauce 2. Chicken Cutlet or Grilled Chicken, Broccoli Rabe, Sharp Provolone (note: I ALWAYS get it with the chicken cutlet)I am obsessed with those two sandwiches and find myself craving them often. The sandwiches are big too, so I can usually bring half home for my husband to enjoy as well! Plus, the bread holds up and does not get soggy if you bring it home a few hours later!All the sandwiches I have had so far are fantastic! I also really enjoy (and have gotten more than once ) the Turkey, Applewood Bacon, Gorgonzola, Cranberry Mayo and the Imported Italian Meats, Roasted Red Pepper, Spicy Brown Mustard. I just always tend to circle back to my top 2 choices. You cannot go wrong with ANY of the sandwiches here, I have only ever heard rave reviews when my coworkers get the other options. I am hoping to eat my way through the menu at some point!Sassano's also has really good salads! My two favorites are the Spring Mix and the Baby Arugula. If you are nearby and want to stop for lunch, or need catering, I highly recommend Sassano's!
