Following my experience with Ken's Diner & Grill, I discovered Sarah's Brick Oven listed within the 'People also viewed' section of its yelp page. Out of several other restaurants listed, Sarah's was the only one that captured my interest, plus it was a restaurant that I had not visited before in Skokie. Sarah's Brick Oven itself is linked to Sarah's Tent, a market for kosher products that is located where Oakton St connects with N Crawford Ave in Skokie. And in spite of it being linked to Sarah's Tent, there is an acceptable number of parking spots available. After entering and having plenty of time to look at the menu above the counter, and even on the laminated menu, I was acknowledged shortly after the customer ahead of me had finished ordering. I took an interest in the impossible burger after contemplating between the truffle mac & pizza, and the norma jean burger after I noticed that the impossible burger came with barbecue, onion rings, and served on a pretzel bun! And it was completed within a reasonable timeframe.I opted out of dine-in, choosing to take my order to go because I had errands I needed to complete, plus I did not want to be in the area long. Moreover, the restaurant appeared clean, and the atmosphere gave off a very relaxed vibe. There were a number of tables with seats inside of the dining area, and I must say that I adored the interior, and the ceiling decoration which gave off sukkot vibes. As for the food, other than my jaw popping because I had to open my mouth wide to take a bite of that stacked impossible burger, I enjoyed the satisfying taste of it once I had gotten settled in for the evening. It was delicious! And I most definitely recommend it if you are having trouble identifying something to try on the menu at Sarah's.Being that I had a good experience, I would gladly re-visit Sarah's Brick Oven again whenever in the Skokie area. Or maybe I will just make a visit solely for it, tehehe.Service: 4 | Atmosphere: 4 | Food: 5Recommendations: truffle mac & pizza, norma jean burger, impossible burger, pestorella, spinach almondina, black forest, eggplant shakshuka pizza, truffle alfredo, koh panghan pasta, eggplant lasagna, sicilian panini, avocado sandwich, omelette sandwich, sarah's acai bowl, tropical bowl, or crispy sweet potato salad.~ To live well is to eat well. ~Thomas G

Good pizza but pricey. Strictly vegan so don't expect pepperoni or sausage or ham. They ran out of basil so the pizza margherita didn't live up to our expectation obviously. Love the salads there however. Will try their breakfast menu sometime.

This place was delicious. I had a friend named Sarah whom I used to work with and she had a brick oven which is why I decided to try out this place. I am happy that I did because the food service and ambiance were all a ten out of ten and they will blend the dessert dishes for you if you have any phobias related to fulsome dessert dishes. Which in my book is a huge kindness and important aspect of going to places. For them to be nice and kind. It always makes the experience more pleasant for me and for whoever I would be with if I went somewhere with someone once. Definitely recommend.

On a Sunday afternoon, starting to shop for Passover, we decided to go to the Hungarian Market (now called Hungarian By Sarah's Tent). We were hungry and opted to try Sarah's Brick Oven. It's in the same parking lot.If you aren't familiar with Kosher Restaurants, since you cannot mix milk and meat, there are dairy restaurants and meat restaurants. So, no meat here. They have a cute dining room and the orthodox or Chasidim are behind the counter and in the kitchen to ensure the laws of Kashrut are being done correctly. You order at the counter, pay, and pick your meal up at the counter when it's ready. My wife had an Italian Panini and I ordered Eggplant Shakshuka. The presentation of both dishes was fabulous. And, they were really delicious.Pricing is a bit high because, well, Kosher food costs more. I have to admit that the food was well worth the few extra dollars.Definitely a must try for anyone curious. It's very good.

If you're on the hunt for a thin crust veggie pizza I would definitely try this place! Super flavorful. I have no complaints on the veggie pizza; perfect cheese to veg ratio and crust is divine. Also tasted good cold the next day :) I was disappointed with the truffle pizza. I would've liked a lot more of the quality mushrooms on top for the price they charge. There's a market right in front of it and parking was a pretty easy.

Was here many years ago when another pizza place was here. First time here since Sarah's opened up and the place looks nice and had a good vibe. It's located between Sarah's Tent grocery story and a large laundromat. Service was very good. Ordered a pizza and salad. Pizza was NY style and tasty. The salad was fresh with over 20 ingredients, goat cheese and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. There's ample seating, which is good since the place filled up shortly after we arrived.

Amazing food, service and ambiance. I have tried all the food and almost never am disappointed. Their large pizza was undercooked once but I usually get the small pizza and that is always cooked well. Highly recommend!

I had the green ravioli this evening. The worst food ever put in front of me.The ravioli was so under cooked I only ate half of the first one.Another customer had an issue with a dish and returned it to the kitchen while we were there.I didn't even bother. If the person in the kitchen doesn't know how long to boil pasta, no point in asking them to do it again.

Let me paint a picture of my recent visit to a nightmare disguised as a dining experience. The food resembled something scraped off the bottom of a shoe, with flavors so repulsive they could induce nausea. But that's not the worst part. The staff were not only rude but also seemed to delight in tormenting patrons, as if it were some sick game. Rumor has it that the kitchen is infested with rodents, and I wouldn't be surprised if their so-called 'special sauce' was concocted in a sewer. This establishment is not just a blight on the culinary scene; it's a health hazard waiting to be shut down. Save yourself the agony and avoid this cesspool of incompetence and filth
