Atlanta's healthiest community rests along Decatur and Clifton. Emory University, Hospitals and the Center of Disease Control are the triple crowns of this neighborhood. So the food has to bring its "A" game every day. Sankranti brings great food to to meet the high bar set by these residents, students, patients and staff. I enjoyed the Vegan Bowl at Sankranti with a slice of bread. It was health food with a kick of spices that were refreshing, nourishing and invigorating. On a hot southern day, I still sat outside in the fresh air because of their recessed eating outdoor option. Great spot. Drop by today! You'll be glad that you did.

Hours posted on door: 10:45 am - 9 pm daily.I had the Chana Masala bowl. It was spicier than I expected, but in a good way. I'd definitely get it again. The samosa was delicious also. I was less excited by the paratha bread, I just prefer naan.I got this to go, it was reasonably quick, similar to other restaurants nearby.Overall a great addition to Emory Village!

I've been here twice now and not only was the food very tasty and fresh, the service was excellent. The restaurant was clean and inviting. There was a very positive vibe and that alone made me want to return. I was also given a coupon the first time and when I came back they told me to keep it and gave me a discount. I ordered the chicken tikka masala curry bowl. Also loved the mango lassi. I can't wait to return again the next time I'm in the area.

New place, or so we assumed by the "now open" signage. (We're from out of town.) The cafeteria style, fast causal setting was easy to follow. The staff was nice and service was fast. I chose the largest rice bowl. You get to choose a base (two types of rice or greens), a protein (curries) and then topping like shredded veggies, fried goodies like samosas or potato cakes, and sauces. You could also choose some flat breads on the side. Portions are fair, spices are there, and overall, a very versatile meal. Veg friendly, vegan friendly, could make it super 'unhealthy' with lots of fried add ons, or go fresh with raw veggies on top! My dining partners were pleased as well. We ate outside on the patio which was pleasant. Not a stellar meal but overall worth a try! Go check it out!

This place just opened up in Emory village. I read that someone said it's like chipotle for Indian food and that's exactly right. You choose your base, proteins, and toppings. The flavors of the food are fine but the chicken didn't really look appealing. They gave me a chicken that wasn't seasoned at all and I had to ask for them to give me the "red chicken" which is what the person in front of me had. Also none of the toppings actually go with Indian food. They had things like dill pickles, carrots, cabbage, and cucumbers which doesn't typically go with any Indian dishes. The galab jaman was surprisingly good, but I don't think I would be back. It definitely reminded me of fast food but I could see this being good for the college clientele. The inside is nice and clean, very modern looking. It also looked like there was a tablet to order online. There is some outdoor seating as well

The food is flavorful and served hot. I appreciate being able to get two different proteins included in a standard bowl. The gentleman behind the counter was courteous and explained the dishes. The ambiance overall is quiet - there is indoor and outdoor seating so you can people watch while you eat or study in the corner. Comparing this location to an authentic Indian restaurant over at Patel Brothers wouldn't be fair. This restaurant's approach makes Indian cuisine more approachable overall. The paratha bread is yummy and a good side to add if you haven't had it before.

Definitely fast food Indian food, kinda like a Chipotle. Missing that home cooked feel. Service was fast and friendly. However paneer was dry, was missing some sauce for the samosa, and the spice in the tikka masala was a little off from what I'm used to. It's fine if you want something fast, but overall left me missing my usual classic spots

Jose was very helpful in assisting me with vegan options! The restaurant was quiet, clean, and well organized. We got our meal to go, and the packaging was great for the trip. The food was perfectly spiced, healthy, and delicious! I'm looking forward to when I can go there again!

Greet and fast Indian food. Kinda reminded me of Chipotle- but Indian. Was VERY impressed with the clean and beautiful ladies restroom. You know what they say, if the bathroom is clean - the kitchen is clean. Who is they?
