Sandwich Corner Market

New deli just opened opened a few blocks away from me, and it's already making waves! The sandwiches are absolutely delicious. We were running out and wanted something quick, so we stopped here for a bite. The sandwiches were made quickly, probably a little over 5 minutes. We'll definitely be back here -- keep up the good work! Inside, there are 3 seats and a bar to eat; there is some patio furniture and a few chairs out front as well, but the space is small for dine-in. Recommend keeping the party small or eating on the go. Tony Sandwich: Absolutely delicious. Couldn't say enough good thing's about this meal; it blew me away. The chicken was really juicy and flavorful and went well with the spinach. There's a healthy dose of cheddar in there as well; other ingredients were roasted peppers and caramelized onions. Also highly recommend having this one with the garlic aioli sauce. I had this one on a seeded roll, which was fresh and fluffy. Only wish it was a bit bigger, but it was still satisfying. Damn good sandwiches. Super nice people as well. Asked for chips on a delivery order and even though they couldn't charge for them. They gave me a bag of chips anyways. 10/10 would return.

This is a great new spot that recently opened in the neighborhood. I came here after a run with a bunch of other runners for breakfast. I had been in the store previously when it was a bodega - and they did a great job revamping the place into a much more modern spot. The menu looked great although I did think it was a bit expensive for Fairmount. I ordered the Phoenix on a Philly everything muffin - and would order it again - altho next time I would go w a kaiser roll. (not bc the muffin was bad - but bc I saw someone eating the kaiser and it looked awesome). They have 3 indoor seats and they have sidewalk seating - although the day I was here it was only indoor eating temps. They had a steady stream of people coming in to order or to pickup orders and they seemed to handle the people in a timely manner. They also have salads, produce, cold bevs and chips for purchasing. Overall I think this is a wonderful addition to the hood and I plan to come back often!!

Sorry I only discovered this gem a few days before leaving Philly. Called to inquire about their hoagies. Owner was super nice. Said he had just roasted a turkey today. I couldn't believe someone had a hoagie with REAL turkey. He took my order and didn't even ask for a name or cell number. They were delicious. Got a turkey and an Italian hoagie. I highly recommend.

The workers here are so nice, the lady who took my order saw that I had my dogs outside waiting for me and offered them a piece of bacon. I tried one of their specialty sandwiches, the shrimp torta, and it hit the spot, large pieces of shrimp, plus the bread and ingredients were fresh. The inside of the deli was clean and welcoming, you can also purchase fresh produce and deli salads as well, will return :-)

Sandwiches are DELICIOUS! I got the James (short rib with jalapeño) and my husband got the Turkey melt. Both were SO good. Can't wait to come back!

The curb appeal makes it look like a cozy neighborhood sandwich shop. It has an adorable antique tchotchkes shelf to browse while you're waiting. My main issue is the price. I believe $16 for a hoagie is pretty outrageous for a neighborhood joint. But it definitely caters to the above average hoagie palate. You'll find unique choices. I didn't like that even with the $16 hoagie, no drink or side was included. It took a long time to prepare and I'm sure that's for the quality. I'm simply not impressed enough to come back and spend over $20 for a hoagie meal.

Just finished half of today's special, an Italian melt on a long seeded roll. That's all I could eat at the moment. Packed with delicious meats, cheese, a very perky homemade spread topped with ripe tomato and fresh arugula. Perfection!Thank you C.J.!!

I live around the block from this place. I have had a decent amount of their staple sandwiches at this point. It's always been very good and delicious! HOWEVER, I just ate their Shrimp Mango Salad special and - oh.my.god. I ate that sh*t up so fast. It was SO GOOD. I am writing this review in the hopes that the owners see this review and make that salad a permanent summer menu option. I will literally buy a quart of it. Please and thank you.

All I can say is wow. Unbelievably good food and even better people running a really one of a kind small neighborhood spot where every inch of the space is carefully and meticulously used and purposeful. I'm jealous this spot is 10 minutes from my house and not 1. The menu is perfect. Curated to perfection. Wow. Been twice. At work 2:45 on a Monday planning when I can go back. Can't wait to see this place take off!Perfect sandwich and not overly filling. Leave filling not good, but great.
