Zone 8 Sports Bar & Grill

I met up with some friends for dinner at Zone 8 Sports Bar & Grill, which is connected to the Matrix Casino. Per my friend, Connie W, on Thursdays 5pm - 11pm and Sundays 3pm - 9pm, they offer $25 Prime Rib.The parking lot was crowded but luckily we found a spot. Typical Sports Bar decor with plenty of tvs to watch whatever professional sports that is playing on ESPN.We were a party of 5 but luckily we were seated with just 3. As we were waiting for our other friends to arrive. Our server said, "It's very popular and probably runs out by 6:30pm."That made it easy so we decided to order 5 Prime Rib dinners! A 12 oz cut, served with roasted potatoes, & vegetable medley. Also it came with creamy horseradish and au jus (4/5).Personally, my wife and I liked it. The beef was cooked medium-rare, needed some salt & pepper but you could easily add that yourself. The roasted potatoes were crisp, yet soft and was roasted with rosemary. The vegetables were squash & zucchini. Moscow Mule (3.5/5) - decent, the alcohol was strong (for me).Overall, a great meal and great company. My wife and I will be back!

I love this place--the Happy Hour deals are unbeatable in the South Bay, and the food is consistently great. However, I have a concern with how the bar and restaurant are staffed, especially during peak times.On weekends, including Thursday nights, it's clear that the bartenders are stretched thin. There are typically only two bartenders per bar: one manages drink orders while the other deals with server requests. With so many servers and a busy atmosphere, adding a third bartender could make a big difference.I've noticed that bar managers often sit at the Zone 8 bar, monitoring a screen rather than assisting. When I asked a bartender about this, they weren't sure why the managers weren't pitching in.My suggestion to management: consider increasing staff at the bars during busy hours to improve service. It could enhance the overall experience for everyone.

Went for happy hour. Wall to wall tv screens for all of the sports lovers! Happy hour food was good. Our waitress said it was her first day and was super friendly, only one of our drinks was incorrect. Didn't see her much tho, but that's ok bc our party of 7 was busy chowing down, tho we could've ordered more drinks if she did come back more often bc we only had one round. Felt bad for her since she didn't seem to get much help except when the food came out, but that's on mgmt. 1st time there and wouldn't mind coming back to try all of the other deals they got!

Ambiance, hospitality and food all get 5 stars in my opinion. Staff was generous, food came out fresh and warm! If you are into sports and are looking for variety of dishes this is the spot to enjoy some good food and drinks. We even scored by coming during happy hour so prices are very reasonable, we will be returning soon.

My friend who brought me told me the food was bomb here , I definitely side eyed him because food at the type of place isn't usually that good but I was taken by surprise ! I was craving something soupy so I got Pho which was mid but again, I wasn't expecting the best Pho considering their large food menu. The baked potatoe and wings ...I'm still thinking about them our server was really nice and attentive 10/10 he did forget we said no bacon and we had to ask for our blue cheese twice , we were patient because he was the only one serving that side and it was busy but taking one star away just because we noticed that there were a few servers at the front who were just talking the whole time and when we tried to wave them down they just waited till our server was around to send him, if he was busy helping another table, I feel his teammates should've been able to help him out since they weren't doing anything.

They have excellent food, a wide assortment of selections. Also happy hour on hot wings and potstickers and all kinds of other stuff. Also, Thursday and Sunday is prime rib night. You can get a slab of prime rib with some veggies and potatoes for 25 bucks! Can't beat it!

If want to go to a place to eat with a bunch of picky people, Zones 8 Sports Bar & Grill is for you. Their menu is a big variety of different type of foods from American, Japanese, Mexican, Vietnamese and more. I got the full order of wings. They tasted good. I really liked the jalapeño orange sauce and the traditional Buffalo sauce. I got the Cesar salad, but that was bland. The service was great as usual here.

Surprisingly good loco moco. Tasty hamburger patty with a runny egg. Gravy was solid and rice was cooked well.
